As previously-mentioned, "Chichi-ue" is a fairly respectful form of "Father" (similarly, if I recall correctly, I've seen "Haha-ue" for "Mother", and "Ane-ue" for "[Older] Sister". I think by this pattern that "Ani-ue" would be "[Older] Brother", but I can't recall ever seeing that form in use, and I don't know the matching constructs for other familial figures).

I do know that the term is sometimes used in reference to Lancer Artoria specifically, because there's another word in Japanese that is pronounced "Chichi" that means "breasts".


Reminder: Japanese humour often tends toward puns.

Ani-ue is fairly out of use. Most use Aniki, I believe.

Sieg can be savaged

instead of Astolfo friendship its Siegfried friendship because its totally in Character for Siegfried to give his own life for a friend and instead of it being a one scene thing you can have Caster of Black saying Siegfried can save Sieg by giving his heart to it

Remember Solomon wanted to use Sieg as an ingredient in his Adam, with Fafnir's heart he becomes an even better Ingredient
