Rock Throw on a non-Rock Type is always good for coverage. It's an SE move against Bug and Ice that we don't otherwise have unless we buy a Fire-type TR or something (and of course it also covers Flying and Fire, though she's got electric and ground moves for those).

Rock Throw does have the advantage of being ranged, something which probably matters a lot against Flying types.
 
Welp, Renne's not winning, so time to try again.

So, as many people likely noticed, one of the rewards for the last part of the Gym Challenge is a +2 Bond for both Roland and Drilbur.

Why not Renne? Because she isn't participating. And she won't participate until we get her to Bond 3.

If we intend to do the Gyms each Field Study, each one she doesn't participate in is a massive amount of Bond left on the floor, alongside growth EXP.

And we do need Bond and Growth with Renne. Because at the moment, she's the only Pokémon we have that can even theoretically learn Sealing Spell. Additionally, her Evolution is locked behind Bond 4 (and likely other things once we get to Bond 4, but Bond 4 is the first gate).

So I think it's very important to take her Bond Actions whenever we can. And if it doesn't win this vote, I'll be campaigning for her action for tomorrow's vote.

So please vote for Renne's Bond Action.

My issue is that Crystalline Cat doesn't appear to be time sensitive like Dig Deep or Song of Roland is. I think we'll be able to do it after today.

I don't think those are especially time sensitive either, but fair enough. We do have 2 more days after this, according to the schedule, so we'll have other chances.

Just know that I'm going to keep pushing Renne Social Actions, since she's the Pokémon on ours who has the most tangible benefits from raising it.

So everyone got the prowess rolls and the two protagonists failed the knowledge rolls and got expositioned to by the rest of the group, got it.

Still on track for an S-rank grade for the first Field Exercise for our group, though!

I think people are forgetting how large Excadrill is. It won't fit inside a Dragapult's launcher, it's simple physics.

We need to teach Drilbur how to use Minimize first, then it'll work.
