If it is indeed that, then we may be ⅓ done already. I mean, Sabrina is responsible for the Fighting Dojo, and I suspect that the "???" Reward for beating the Dojo is going to be Insight on her.
For Koha, we can put a Secret Base there, and hopefully it will unlock some action for Fuchsia as a whole, including looking into Koga.

That said.... we are locked out of Blaine (because Cinnabar is only reachable by noat) and , potentially, the RGB [Red Green Blue] unlockable (because Pallet Town is not accessible for us)
We can get a boat. And as for Pallet...Well, let's just say if Red doesn't manage to MAKE himself our problem, i'll be very surprised. I imagine flipping him towards us and away from the old Silph-sycophant Oak will be a hard task, but...Possible. And managing to get such a prodigy of Pokemon battle on our side would certainly be very useful, especially given his status as the greatest single threat to our power in "canon".

"You could have gotten me something, you know."
Taking another sip of the swill that passes as coffee in this grease trap, you cast a disinterested glance at your stink-eyed subordinate across the booth.
WE WENT TO MCDONALDS BURGER TIME. WE GOT ONE BLACK COFFEE. WE LEFT AND THE CHILD GOT NOTHING. <3

Wonderful little reference, Bright. Really love the character bits between all the characters, especially Copycat. Karen is looking fun as well so far!

Also the system for Unlocks is super cute and really fits the feel of this being, well, based off a bunch of videogames!
…Or live long enough to see yourself become a Villain:
This makes my earlier mention of wanting to corrupt Misty and turn her to the darkside when her gym was announced as opening feel more relevant.

Though we don't know for sure if the Gym Leaders are expressly against us yet. Though I imagine if the League ever forms, it'll be SilphCo pulling the strings.

Also the additions to Omake EXP rewards is a good expansion. I intend to do some Omake stuff soon, though even without the rewards I really just want to draw fun fanart for this Quest. It's a blast so far.

...Red, Blue, or Green, maybe?
God, the idea we'll have to deal with them in the future is scary. However being able to possibly convince them they're being lied to or used would be neat. Also if Green is included that'd be kickass, she was always my favorite in the manga and playing as them in the FireRed/LeafGreen versions of the game were a nice option over the OG.

@Omegahugger ...Alright, you've convinced me. Slugtime it is!

And YES! The Auction! Oh if we can win this we'll be able to do sooooo much with that property! I've been waiting for this.
Thoughts or suggestions to make the plan better?
Honestly, this seems solid. It covers all the cool stuff and gets so some much needed work. Plus it includes the auction. So it has my vote!

The way I see it is our public perception will dictate whether or not the gym leaders hate us or not course SilphCo will be trying to paint us as evil no matter what we do, although it would be funny if we managed to be well liked enough to operate in the open more.

Obviously the solution to the gym leaders hating us is to get one step ahead of the competition
Silph Co can't found a league with Gym Leaders that hate us if we found it first

I mean, we're already more likeable them the Big 3 given we're not slaughtering people or 1984-ing them. I figure if Team Rocket tries hard enough, and Silph.Co drops the ball hard enough, we could very well become a loveable Team Rocket.

Honestly, if that's the case, we should rename Silph.Co into ROCKET.CO to show we've moved past them after we take them over.

Now you're thinking with portals. Or, well, Pokemon in this case.

It's not even a particularly implausible plan.
We already have Giovanni and Surge. Sabrina and Koga should be at least possible to align with us due to even being choices back in char gen. Blaine has at least decent odds as well putting us at 5/8, and we'll probably be able to try to make gyms that aren't the canonical eight so even if we can't convince Misty, Erika, and Brock we still have options like Dark Type Gym Leader Karen or Normal Type Gym Leader Copycat.

Although, allying with Sabrina would piss off Koichi.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure if we do manage to recruit Sabrina, Koichi might be locked off/have hefty loyalty/opinion maluses. That's why I'm hoping we can get more info about the situation before recruiting him, so we can have ways to smooth things or reduce the negative impact. Maybe help the dojo get back to his former glory or something like that.

I do wanna recruit both of them if possible, though this might become a "Can't have a cake and eat it too" situation. Who knows, we need more info first. Hopefully this turn we manage to do the dojo thing and that reveals more pieces of the puzzle.

Meh, there are other people with muscles we can recruit. And if we want a fighting type pokemon expert there's Chuck over in Johto and Bruno over in somewhere.
Or just actual fighters. This is a crossover quest. The idea of teaming up with, say, the Howard Connection or the Mishima Zaibatsu...God, they'd love Fighting Pokemon. And fighting Pokemon, for that matter.

[X] Plan: Gym Launch

Surge is hopefully just the beginning; corrupt Misty and Brock, set up our own Gym, grab Koga and Sabrina (and/or Koichi), and that's 6-7 Gyms. If we get Blaine that's 7-8, that leaves Erika, who's a ranger rn... Maybe we can connect to The Pipeworks and get Luigi as a Ghost-type Gym Leader :V

[X] Plan: To Unite All People

I do think it is important to at least take one action involving the Kanto Pokemon Federation before they get in our way.

For the moment, i'm content to let them and Sliph hash it out on each other. All the better for us to swoop in at the last second, and it takes Sliph's heat off of our operation. But, yes, the very instant they start messing with our work, well....You know the Chicago Way.

About Slug Trail, it said it was spotted at the cycling road, right? The place built over water? I think it's pretty likely to be a Shellos.

Update: Errors and Vote Extension
Kicking myself right now

Apologies everyone for this embarassment, but the DC for Now Hiring (Neo-Kanto) was meant to revert to its inital DC this turn. I thought I changed that but reviewing the turnpost again reveals I, infact did not. It goes to show that I will need to be far more thorough before posting, as this is the second error that has occurred this turn.

It has been changed and checked everything else for any other mistakes (which, thankfully there were none) so this shouldn't happen again. However, as Now Hiring (Neo-Kanto) was the Diplomacy option for several submitted plans, I am extending the vote by a day incase people wish to change their selection in that regard.

I am very, very sorry about this, and I hope this doesn't affect anyone's enthuseiasm in participating.

[X] Plan: Changing Diplo
-[X] Rocket Actions
--[X] Take the Dojo Challenge (Karen)
--[X] Engage in Philanthropy
--[X] A Gym of His Own (Lieutenant Surge)
--[X] Infiltrate the Kanto Pokemon Federation (Copycat)
--[X] Develop a New Potion (Ariana)
-[X] Personal Actions
--[X] Train Your Pokemon
--[X] Break Bread with One of Your Subordinates
---[X] Karen
--[X] Train with Master Kiyo
--[X] Attend the Celadon Hotel Auction
--[X] Resume Your Personal Projects
--[X] Accept Challengers at the Ring
--[X] Try to Teach Ditto to Mimic Humans
--[X] Explore Neo-Kanto

Now Hiring still only has a DC of 45, so I think it is still a pretty safe option to go with.

Yes, there's a risk of failure, but this is a dice Quest, so there's always a risk.

This doesn't really change my opinion that we need hero units, so I'm willing to take the risk here. Ironically we need a diplo unit, that's a massive hole in our arsenal. Our best is Surge, who isn't amazing and should be busy with Martial actions besides.

Anyways, vote for To Unite All Nations! Once we infiltrate the Federation we get free info from them, passively begin to takeover from the inside without having to do anything, and we can let them smash against Silph all they want.

Yeah, this really doesn't change anything. We still need more hero units, specially for Diplo and Stewardship. So we still have to take the action.

We roll with a 32(22+10) bonus if I remember correctly. With a Dc of 45, it's not that hard if a roll. Heck if really needed I can pitch in my measly 300 EXP I have for a +3 to the roll, for whatever help that would be.

So yeah, I don't think there's need to edit my plan. Actions look good as they are.

It's also an action that doesn't really cost us anything if it fails.

I changed my vote, but only because I totally spaced and forgot the importance of infiltrating the Federation! I edited my previous post to my new vote.
