Time of the Gods: Into the Amber Age

Fine. I'm going to bet against a resurgence of the other vote I was supporting.

And also against murdering even more people just because we feel like it.

[X] Plan Explore For Advantages

Let's see if I can convince you guys again to vote Fear route.

To start off,Here is a great song for my argument

Did this convince you to vote us ? Yes ? Great ! Thank you for your vote.
No ? Then continue reading it with music on.

Firstly, let's look at both sides of the argument, Faith and Fear.
You all heard the benefits of both like Faith being consistent but slow andnot being fun having not enough action to keep interesting in the long run as we aren't a warrior/hunter and we probably go Passive Route with quite a large possibility of being forcefully raped bywed to that Hunter guy and being his substitute in his Pantheon.Maybe even like how River Mother did to us in AA but reversed !Does that mean we are gonna get an Arachne Spider who is Male Yandere ?

So basically Harziman route but without the exciting stuff.Of course there is Aztec style...I would go for faith if you guys vote for it,heh

Now there is the Fear route ! This is random, not consistent but fast route to being Cthulhu ! Or anything really if you can make people fear it.This is probably more exciting and random than even Harzimans Luck !As we can almost certainly benefit from having that Old Hunter Spirit rivaling us ! We even get the benefit of starting this route with extra Influence and being less fragile than Average Fear Spirit. We can probably get things like Drowning,Trickery,Waves,Tornados/Storms,Monsters,Deep Seas/Deps,Tentacles etc etc.As long as you can make people fear it we can get it ! This means we can customize our spirit much easier !This includes dropping unwanted traits.

There are also the fact that we can potentially get more DE than Faith spirits even without doing absurd and scary stuff every turn. How ? Have so much influence and Fear that you will make entire continent fear you ! Like Harziman in the end. This will get us more than established Faith Spirits bar Aztec style sacrifices.

Yes, I know that will probably take us a while to do but you can't deny the excitement and fun of trying it !

Come on guys ! Vote for Fear ! Vote for Fun ! Vote for Cthulhu !

Oh, we'll make them Faithful again alright. They've just gotten a bit lax after seeing our cute visage, which really is to be expected.

A few roils ought to put to put the Fear of god into them~<3
[incoherent rage]
Warning: Rage may not actually be incoherent. Rage may not actually even exist. If lacking in rage, please call your local government official to have that rectified. Thank you.

Pff, cowards. I'm staying true to myself!
All I need is a snappy name ...
Wait, I know!

[X]Shortcut to Demispawn
[X] Upgrade
-[X] Avatar 2
-[X] Elemental Avatar - Water

(Sacrificing our collective future for ideological purity, you say? A choice without prospects, you say?! Too little Legend, you say?!! ... yes)

IIRC in the last game demispawn didn't offer as much Legend as we hoped because the darn kids kept ascending to godhood and filling up our pantheon with assorted riffraff. They needed to die to benefit us most and refused to do so.

Inconsiderate of them!

This is not at all in tune with teh current discussion, but i had a random thought that might lead to an omake-- @Powerofmind what sort of starting inherent trait would we have gotten if we had gone with the Pyramid Genius Loci? Like what sort of actions could we have taken with that trait?

Inconsiderate of them!
Were we a bad father/mother/manifestation of madness, to have raised such rude children? Sometimes I think so.

Other times I run around the sky like a maniac to make it all rainbowy and sparkly. Last time I did this, blue seemed the dominate colour, which was on the surface a bit disappointing since the sky was already blue, it was a different blue from normal. A bluer blue.

Down to the final few hours until I lock. Make GaeRig Great Again has come out with an explosive opening set of 8 votes for being put up on a weekday, during late morning. Explore has a one vote lead over That Which is Dead, at 17-16. I'm most likely going to leave the vote open for five hours instead of three thanks to the sudden underdog vote surging up to possibly-competitive in the blink of an eye (and the neck-and-neck between the leaders).

If you win this, @Sivantic, I will quite possibly die from the irony of a fear vote with that name pulling a thirteenth hour upset when everyone expected something else and went to sleep.
@Pandemonious Ivy. Get in here Ivy! Fear voting awaits us.

As a note to everyone voting, this NOT an attack to our people but to Outsiders fishing in Our seas. Our people will be safe from harm!

Make Gaelig Great Again!

[X] Make Gaelig Great Again!

The promise of a roiling wall of seawater to keep the outsiders away from our people has tempted me.

And we'll make them pay for it. With fear and stuff.

But the number one thing to remember is that Gaelig loves her people. All of her people. It's just the outsiders that she wants to keep out, and I'm not so sure this plan expresses that.

She does? I was under the impression she barely knew who her people were. Love isn't really a thing.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that's what the last update was about. Gaelig did learn to bare her teeth smile though. Progress!

Anyway, the people don't want a leader god who loves them. They want a strong leader god. Gaelig can provide that.

Given the reasoning on display, I don't know why we aren't just going 100% astrology and ocean exploration.

The group is apparently too paranoid about the other spirit to risk frustrating his followers or even setting up a shrine, yet any faithey action is even more offensive since he blesses fishermen and blessing fishing and sailing is our only move, therefore there is direct competition for the same metaphysical role even if the region isn't faith capped.

This closes off most conventional avenues for growth, so we need to find a new one, hence inoffensively looking to the stars and wandering the depths until we find a game-changer.

-and, no, we don't need to calm water to do astrology. The water was being used as a flat mirror for magical reasons, not as a magnifying telescope, and the character refuses to even try it again for a while. Just looking at the stars is simple astrology and doesn't depend on nor even benefit from the state of the ocean.
