Time of the Gods: Into the Amber Age

Okay, I think we'll have to do at least a minor bit of infrastructure building, here.

If they all die, nobody is around to Fear us, after all.

So something like this, and this is hoping it matches up with what Veekie is gonna do:

[] Inspire Petitioner - Expend DE to give inspiring visions and dreams to a petitioner who comes to your shrine or prays to you. At 2 Influence, Inspirations are somewhat random in their effects but are stronger than Blessings. Costs: 5 DE. WARNING: Your Legend is low, Inspiring may result in the Petitioner receiving credit instead of you!
[] Direct Fish* - You direct fish to or away from your domain, having knowledge of the temperatures and currents that they prefer.
-[] Call Fish. Costs: 6 DE

[] Guide the Ships - Guide and navigate the boats in person, sending them where they need to be. Costs: 6 DE

[] Study Stars - Study the skies and stars, seeking patterns that will tell you what was, what is, and what may yet be.
-[] Reflecting Pool - Dedicate greater efforts to studying the still sea and the strange energy you encountered. Costs: 16 DE (reserves 2 uses of Calm Waters)

[] Make Demand - You have need of something and you will tell people what you want.

Unsure on the Demand, but we have 69 DE to spend, and as is, this plan only uses 5 + 6 + 6 + 16 = 33

I'm thinking about inspiring the fuck out of them + guiding the hell out of them + calling the fuck out of some fish for them, so the random horribleness that we inflicted on them is rewarded by a massive bounty of brilliants, insight, calm weather, and food.

E: If we do it big enough, by like Call Fish x 3 (can't do that) Guide Ships x3 or whatever, it might be big enough to net us some impressive Legend.

we need to get the moon sphere first.

we get that get our legend up, so the inspirations work better for us.

Could also go get the shiny from the ocean. Twice probably.

I am being realistic we can assume that Saiga will know about us from his worshipers assuming he is not stupid and actually cares for his sources of power he is gonna see an easy way to get legend. I do not know how long a turn is in this quest but Saiga's worshipers could have arrived at their village next turn.

The turn after that will probably be where he observes us for a sign of weakness he is a hunter not a warrior and a hunter stalks his prey. I estimate we have 1 turn before he comes to our village he is also out of range.

The best bet is to just massacre the remaining worshipers and hope we get something useful or command the remainders to move someplace else although seeing as how they are the weak and sickly that may be impossible. All The Healthy men of the tribe left the moment we became a fear spirit.
Stop it. You are still misunderstanding the situation. The followers of Saiga who refused to bow or leave grew sickly and thin from hard hunts. Your followers grew fat on the bounty they were allowed to have again.

Please fully read my updates before you assume these things, I'm nearly at the point where I'm wondering if the misinformation is actually deliberate.

*sees the results, shakes with laughter and cries even tears*
*HUgs @Van Ropen and @Pandemonious Ivy*
We did it, I had already given up, but we did it, you guys are my heroes

*Hugs @veekie and @The Laurent*
Hope we can still work together in the future, we after all share all the same goal

*speaks in a tired voice*
However for now let's just celebrate that the vote is over, regardless of what has won, because I can say one thin is absolutly certain,
If this would have gone any longer I would have died from a heart failure and I'm sure I wouldn't have been the only one
So let's celebrate that
*Pulls out some of @Powerofmind 's hair to throw it into the air*
Let's celebrate !

Ivy you forgot to include the Aspect of the sealion, we were a lion in the past life, so continuity demands that we are going to be a sealion in this life :p
What about me?:(

Concerning the vote, to put forth the basics of what @veekie outlined
[] QUEST: LABOR OF THE MOON-SPHERE - You will return to the Moon-Sphere's resting place and retrieve it for yourself. Costs: 21 DE. (Note: may need to be taken multiple times) Turns left: 5
[] Roil Waters** - You bend the waters to your command against your enemies, sending larger waves at the settlement near you, or creating deadly sprays and whirlpools that will capsize any boat they dare put upon the surface of your waters. Costs: 5 DE
-[] x2
--[] During Day
[] Calm Waters** - You calm the waves and direct the currents for those under your care, ensuring the boats that travel your surface are safe and see greater success in their endeavors. Costs: 5 DE
-[]x1
--[] During Night
[] Build a Shrine - Bully, threaten, persuade, or cajole mortals into building a shrine to your magnificence. Maximum shrines 0/2.
-[] Threaten destruction and starvation.
UPDATED NOTE: It is three total uses of Control Water. Using all of them puts us at 36/69 DE with 33 DE left.
I will note that to get the people to build the shrine, we need some sort of social skill...that we don't have. So! as to ape that may I suggest adding
[] Guide the Ships
-[] x3
--[] Guide and navigate the boats in person, sending them where they need to be if they comply with Shrine
--[] Lead the fishermen and hunters to their doom to be dashed upon the rocks if they disobey with Shrine
As a stick?
Alternatively we could replace one of those with these?
[] Direct Fish* - You direct fish to or away from your domain, having knowledge of the temperatures and currents that they prefer.
-[] Call Fish. Costs: 6 DE
--[] If they comply with Shrine
-[] Drive Fish Away. Costs 6 DE
--[] If they do not comply with Shrine
Is there a particular direction people think we should go or should replace one of these?

NOTE: We actually have Three uses of Control Water now. Using all of them leaves plan at 51/69 with 18 DE left.

This isn't too bad, I suppose. I'd like to inspire if possible, because they can come up with some cool shit, but that's fine.

I'll make you a deal: If he fights us next turn, I'll proxy my next vote to you. If he doesn't, you'll stop taking whenever I tell you to.

Agreed on inspiring. Legend is low.

Now the question is where we're getting our DE from, and planning out actions to align with what trait we wanna get..

@Sivantic You don't need to specify a punishment for the shrine. Despite the wording, it cannot actually fail even if you don't back up the punishment. You are truly a powerful spirit, deserving of a shrine. Enough people would do this regardless at this point.

There's something else to keep in mind about monsters: they don't have range limits. If you want fear DE and legend from other villages instead of our own, they're a pretty good expeditionary force.

We can call them the Capricious Sea Marines.

Is there any benefit to placing the shrine as a cap on the holy shoals, such that it rises and submerges with the tides?
There are some benefits to placing a shrine in a Holy Place (most are too large to completely enshrine without a lot of magic), but the locals do not have the knowledge, materials, or numbers necessary to place one there.
