There Was A Different Idea: An MCU Producer Quest

Maybe save him for Armor Wars, but convince me, and I'll add him to my plan.

[X] Plan Guns, Gurus, Guerillas, and Glory
Hey man, this is a good plan, but you see...
This show plans to expand the MCU and also serve as a connection for future series. For that to work you need characters who also appear in movies, but also don't cost that much. Both Senator Stern and Agent Coulson are already scheduled to appear, the actors agreeing for a reasonable amount. But more characters are also planned for the overall story, like that of Bethany Cabe, who Michael wants to adapt as a sort of Agent of the government and liaison to the military and the War Machine in particular.
Phil Coulson is already scheduled to appear.

[x] Plan crack the door open
-[X] [The Ten Rings] The Ten Rings origins are mystical and supernatural. Though they have since started using technology they also retain much of their previous knowledge and magical capabilities.
-[X] [TR Members] No, just keep Raza as the only memorable one.
-[X] [AIM] AIM has yet to be outed as a terrorist organization, it's instead seen as a benevolent new company that is pushing the boundaries of science; no one connects the dots until near the end.
-[X] [AIM Members] Yes, I'd like to adapt other characters to AIM:
--[X] [AIM Members] Maya Hansen aided Killian in the research and development of the Extremis virus.
-[X] [Cameo] Virginia "Pepper" Potts
-[X] [Cameo] Barbara "Bobbie" Morse
-[x] [Cameo] Clint Barton
-[x] [Cameo] Black Widow
-[x] [Cameo] Someone Else: Wonder Man
-[x] [Title] Something Else: Marvel Presents: The War Machine

I don't think we need Pepper here, unless we also have Stark? Like if its supposed to be a cameo with Rhodey's friends supporting him during a tough time for him, but it being just Pepper is kind of weird and we're trying to get him to stand out on his own right? Plus with all the other cameos and new characters introduced this budget could get really big really fast. Probably best to just cut her role. Maybe swap with Barbara "Bobbie" Morse?

-[x] [Cameo] Someone Else: Wonder Man[] -[Title] Something Else: Marvel Presents: The War Machine
Might want to fix this.

That would make sense, and we could get Margot for cheap since we've literally made her career.

[X] Plan Warrior
-[X] [The Ten Rings] The Ten Rings origins are mystical and supernatural. However all that remains from there are the traditions and beliefs as they now focus more on technology and political connections.
-[X] [TR Members] Yes, I'd like to adapt other characters to the Ten Rings:
--[X] [TR Members] Li Ching-Lin could serve as a good plant and double agent.

To be honest, with the current story of AIM and Ten Rings, I think adding Ross in there is a bit overkill potentially. Maybe we should swap him with Barton as we currently have Bobbi Morse already, might be interesting to have them both in the show, to explore their on-screen dynamic a bit and how it could evolve moving forward?

We can say Ross was in South America or something hunting the Hulk for our Phase 2 Hulk movie.

Mmm, I'm conflicted with the option for The Ten Rings. But it would make sense for them to adapt to modern times. That and it would make the Mandarin more unique and special if he was the only one with mystical stuff. Make him appear untouchable to both his enemies and underlings as well. Therefore, I can live with this choice.

Plan: Sufficiently Advanced Magic

-[X] [The Ten Rings] The Ten Rings origins are mystical and supernatural. Though they have since started using technology they also retain much of their previous knowledge and magical capabilities.

-[] [TR Members] Razor Fist has potential. You may want to do something about the hands though.

--[X] [TR Members] Write In- Eclipse (Earth-616) would be able to help show case the more magical side of the Ten Rings and the Marvel universe.

-[X] [AIM] AIM has yet to be outed as a terrorist organization, it's instead seen as a benevolent new company that is pushing the boundaries of science; no one connects the dots until near the end.

-[X] [AIM Members] Maya Hansen aided Killian in the research and development of the Extremis virus.

[X] [Cameo] General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross

[X] [Cameo] Nick Fury

[X] [Cameo] Wonder Man

[X] [Title] War Machine!

OK so I have a vague idea for a pitch. Aim is initially presented as a regular normal research company that who's only somewhat morally sus aspect is military weapons contracts. One day one of thier labs is attacked by Eclipse, Razorfist and a bunch of zombies. I think we should change Eclipses power so she just straight up raises the dead instead of turning people into zombie like things. The military sends War Machine to assist as the Lab is one where a bunch of military r and d is done and the army thinks that's what the Ten Rings is after.

War Machine fights off Eclipse and the zombies alongside Wonder Man who happened to be in whatever city the scene takes place and saw the zombies and decided to help. He will show up several times in the show and be a bit of comedic relief. Razorfist manages to steal whatever the Ten Rings were after while everyone's distracted fighting the zombies As War Machine starts to investigate the incident after the fight he starts to discover there's more to AIM then meets the eye.

AIM has deep military connections and try to get his commanders to stop him asking too any questions about AIM causing friction and questioning of his duty as a soldier in War Machine.

That's the vague idea I have. Hopefully. Someone more talented then me at writing can turn that premise into an actual plot if my plan somehow wins.

Note: I do think we can do better than a mere cameo for Silent, because:
1. He's a merc, he can be inserted in the story without too much fuss/disruption
2. His 'silence' tech and his asthetic fits in nice with the modern theme
3. Ruhian seemed like he was free for more Marvel work, and who doesn't like Ruhian silat:V
