Well if I can't get regional capitals then a roving or rotating one is next on my list.

That was kinda gonna be my suggestion - its reconstruction symbolically pairs well with the new order, and its position also pretty representatively counters the classic centralised flaw of the Jedi... without being in the middle of nowhere like Dantooine or Tython. Ossus is still a bit too fragile a state IMO.

It's a guardian facility, plus where you keep a back-up archive. Not drawing too much attention to it is important.

Regional capitals can still be a thing, this is where the High Council stays on a general basis.

Leave the majority of things (initiate training etc) to one of these locations but symbolically not become too tied to either the core or the rim?

If it is a single location, I have a preference for Dantooine. Jedi having a HQ on the Rim is surely a good thing.

No. Too great a security risk for too little gain.
 
I too want the HQ to be on Tython. So maybe we can make the new headquarters a temporary one while we search for Tython. I definitely want to stay far away from Coruscant given that the Jedi Temple is situated over a Sith Temple of all things. And its also next to the source of politics in the galaxy. And I would rather the Jedi Order stay out of politics as much as possible from now on.

My one objection to Tython is Deep Core pretty much is a one way dirt road past Coruscant.

I'd rather have Dantooine or ossus.

If you choose Tython now, Dantooine will be a temporary headquarters.

Honestly none of the options really sing for me. Dantooine and Tython are a bit too middle of nowhere for my liking, and Ossus is kinda a mess... but its recovery proceedures do have at least some of the same thematics that made me want Telos. So...

If the headquarters of the Jedi isn't going to be Coruscant, then I don't want it to be Dantooine. It's a fair world, but I would rather a world that's more important in the larger scheme of things.

To be fair, the Trax are likely to help change that situation.

And, uh, more importantly, the Yuuzhan Vong are in that general area-ish.

So. I mean you're not wrong-wrong, but things are changing.
