The hell is that supposed to mean?
AFAIK, not talking to anything else electric.

Probably originates from how the earliest understanding of Autism was "those people who can't talk but can math super good". Autism being a spectrum is a pretty recent thing. Honestly, it's still an ongoing thing, Aspergers existed a rather short time ago before someone realized "wait, what's the actual difference here again?" and they checked and realized "holy shit, no one actually agrees what the difference is... wow."

Which is really annoying when you have an asperger's diagnosis that suddenly chsnges to autism and now you have to explain to people how no, you arent that kind of autistic.

You probably need to preface it with "extremely mild" which is... not quite accurate but closer than what they start thinking.

I think it means no communication at all between the server (in this case) and any other piece of hardware, basically shut off from any and all networks. as to why it is called "autistic mode" I dont have the foggiest of clues
I imagine its related to the way one of autism's signature symtpoms is a difficulty in communication with other people. Doent make it any less vaguely insulting, though.

I mostly just tell people i have a particularly mild form of autism that mostly manifests as a difficulty in verbal and emotional communication and a tendancy to fixate on things.

Chill out on the capslock. It doesnt make your argument any more compelling. And this has been barely a derail.

That said, im curious if we will see nymphs or some variety of fearie showing up. Im personally rather fond of the idea of Hookwolf noticing hes being followed around by a large black dog with glowing red eyes.

... we have more the 3 pages of derail and that is not to much?

😓😓😓

can you define what you think "derail" means to you?

anyway yeah, a few faes, maybe a grim following hookwolf and it would be funny a shadow people following sophia

People were discussing tinkertech and it's reaction to Taylor.
Then that discussion turned to Dragon, who is both tinkertech and a tinker. Then someone used a particular term for secure drives.
Then there was about a page of discussion about that term and why it exists, including three posts that include me being frustrated with how the definition of my diagnosis being changed.
That is not a derail. That is an ontopic conversation that briefly strayed a bit.

EVERYTHING!

Are you one of those people who believe bioengineering happens just for shits and giggles and because people have too much time on their hands?
Then it will blow your mind to learn that organisms are bioengineered for use and that use is industry.

In the case of Ellisburg, yes the bio engineering was done for shits and giggles. And because for whatever reason he decided he hates humanity, obviously.

SIDE NOTE: I think you should have left your post saying "for shots and giggles".

So, is Lung, during her official introduction going to call her Kei?
Because Oni Lee should be Lee Oni in english.
So "Corantine Kei" could potentially work just as well.
I think that on First Contact Lung is going to count the number of tails, then consider for a moment that he didn't kill it with in the first five minutes of meeting her.
He may just get down on his knees place his forhead on the Floor and beg forgiveness for interrupted her day.

Because ih the Dragon doesn't kill the Kitsune quickly, Even if she loses the fight, the dragon will regret messing up her fluffy tails.

So you generalise from this one power use while ignoring the whole of human history as well as the fact that a divine domain is a divine domain and not an ad-hoc ruling.

Edit: Missing word is welcome back into the sentence.

that and the fact then asians dragons hold no chance againts a 9 tailed kitsune in shinto phanteon

Probably only second or third contact after Taylor gets a better handle on her (many) powers. Because at first Lung will assume (like most individuals) that she is a parahuman.

No, I'm one of those people who believe bioengineering in the age of Inari wasn't even on the level of science fiction (operative word there being "fiction") and the parahumans doing it sure aren't doing it for "industry", whereas tinkertech is explicitly imitating the mechanisms of industry.

I believe there's a big fat obvious difference between a biotinker like Bonesaw, who imitates industry with a byproduct of bioengineered organisms, and Nilbog, who doesn't associate remotely with any variety of industry.

I believe that there's a difference between the creative mechanism (industry, sometimes) and the end result (bioengineered organisms), otherwise you could just declare via fiat that lasers are used in industrial processes, therefore Taylor's godly domain of industry can cause the Dallons' powers to stop working because "lasers don't work that way".

I think Legend would have more problems in that case, since his lasers curve and do things other then burn/melt their way through substances via coherent light.

Given that the common fanon(?) for Legend is that his Shard is for propulsion, curving his lasers may be due to a connected space-warping effect, similar to Quarrel's perfect aim.

You know the difference between "bioengineering" and "selective breeding"? One takes longer and is somewhat less controlled.

You ever see what the highest grade of beef cow looks like? It's a solid mass of muscle that overheats while standing still if it's not tended to by humans. No gene splicing involved, just lots of breeding.

Just cus they were doing it the slow way doesn't mean they weren't bioengineering.

Bioengineering is very much a part of industry, but I dont think it would fall under Taylors domain. However, since she had fertility as part of it, that technically means that she could be considered a harvest Goddess, in which case theres as strong chance that Blasto's creations could fall under her sphere of influence. Bonesaw and Nilbog are pretty far out of her domains however.

Another domain Inari gave was Agreculture. She's already a harvest goddess without having to finagle fertility to be one.

Huh, I obviously forgot that. My point still stands though. That said, I dont think that she could nessersarally say that any biological creation shouldnt work because, from my understanding, Bio and chemical Tinkers creations dont necessarily break the laws of physics themselves, its more the method of getting there thats completely off the rails.
