Okay, this is even better than expected. And fits well with what Raz does as argenten mentioned. Nasin is seeming to be more useful than I first thought.

I have to say, I didn't even think about what this implies for Nasin's artificial proto-group until I saw this post. I know this was meant to be a point against Nasin, but this made me realise that his ability is legitimately the perfect thing to create Librarian kill-teams. That combined with the +5 Daemon mentioned would probably cause the likes of Abdul to be even more powerful and be able to fight against anything in the future, and learn to work well with other battle-psykers as well.

Fits well with what Kesar and the Legion as a whole learned from the Maelstrom war experience, Nasin the Kill-Team maker, that'll definitely be useful if we continue the kill teams ideas which we totally should.
Pretty much, Savinath will increase their survivability, Nasin will increase their deadliness, and Raz will help them reach the right places at the right time.

Note: Baldur was inspired by the Nordic culture, Achilles came from the Grecian obviously. But another thing is most of our legion is Terran and other planets given we've only had thirty years with Valhalla and co.

Bodin is right there with Baldur on the nordic culture but that's also because he was from the nordic region on terra as his backstory fleshed out.

We recruit a lot from Terra and Valhalla but we also...cycle through our people quickly >.>

Nasin's, however, I do somewhat disagree with. The exitus rifle, while cool, means either he'd be loyal to two groups other than us, and while the weapon is certainly good, he's also a Psyker, and to an extent weapons stop mattering when you get powerful enough as a Psyker.

The other thing is...well, Nasin isn't really the ideas guy, or skill-option here. He's a Thousand Sons, yes, but he's a Thousand Sons that's described to act more like a Warden. Which has its benefits, I will not lie, but it's not what I think you've sort of assigned him.
From what I recall on what Daemon said in the Discord, Nasin definitely doesn't have loyalty to the Assassin Temples. More that the Vindicare who had it couldn't deal with a target, and made a deal where Nasin gets the rifle if that target is killed 'for the next few times' which sounds like they're a daemon or some other Chaos thing. As for how powerful Nasin is with that rifle, well... to clarify on this and my previous point I'll ask @Daemon Hunter to confirm.

As for ideas and skill and what he can offer, I heavily disagree. As Daemon said here:
Nasin when it comes to Thousand Son knowledge would want to bring a lot of it over, he'd do so in stages after settling in though. It's why he'd be unpopular for the Legion as he's basically trying to stradle the line of introducing new things and not running roughshod over the Legion's culture and he's not perfect at that. He'd pair well with most of the Wardens and has some synergies with them.
[] Nasin - Suggested by several Librarians, Nasin is a Thousand Son who has been exchanging letters with several Legions. [...] Magnus describes him as someone with a fascination for other cultures as well as extremely helpful.
he's going to bring in a lot. Discounting that he acts more like a Warden, which actually helps integrate this knowledge into stuff we can properly and smoothly use, he will totally give us Thousand Sons knowledge (the tensions of which will be eased by around half with the two other Chief Librarians involved) and potentially even a bit of psychic knowledge from other Legions he regularly sends letters too.

Yeah, and if we end up going with my plan that switches Savinath with Kendin...you got connections between the Alpha Legion, the Eternal Warden, and the Thousand Sons being tightened so you have the rogues, the fighters, and the mages for the 'legion adventuring party' thing we got going on...actually i guess the wardens are working on multiclasses as the clerics too :p

Do you mind voting in support of mine? at least in regards to the plans? Cause we basically agree on the libarian angle but the write in fleshes out the system they'll use

[X]Plan: Binding Ties
-[X] Send Orion to the White Scars - With Khan about to depart for a lengthy expedition, Orion may be useful there. With his admitted identity issues, sending him to the White Scars would help him figure out his purpose. And would help the Khan in his journey. *Orion becomes a hero of the White Scars until Khan's expedition returns. Khan will remember this.*
-[X] Write-in- The Triquetra: There is much for the Librarians of the Eternal Wardens to do, and to make sure that it is all done with appropriate focus, you decide to do something unorthodox but not unprecedented. You will select more than one of the candidates for the position and have them work together, with each having their own focus and duties. Savinath will lead the Librarians, helping your sons not only increase their ability to survive whatever the galaxy and Warp throws at them, but also delving into the discovering and breaking of curses. With him shall serve Raz as well as Nazim. Both have valuable insights to bring to the legion and will help balance Savinath's anxieties and concerns. In turn Nasin will bring valuable insights, knowledge, and skills from the Thousand Sons as well as gaining his own insights on how to properly mesh with the Eternal Wardens from Raz and appreciation of support from Savinath. Nasim will bring out their potential of skill it is true, but you know that Raz will bring out their heart and with him in a position of authority, your librarians will gain not only guidance and support that few others can give them, but that shall spread to the rest of the Eternal Wardens through them and even the Imperial Army as your Librarians become beacons of valor and might. Savinath and Nasin will be good to curb Raz's own tendency to leap ahead of himself as well, preventing you from losing one of your most earnest sons.

----------------------------------------------------------------

[X]Plan: Merging Ties.
-[X] Send Orion to the Dark Angels - The Angel of Humility would enjoy this, and Lion likely would reciprocate with a hero of his own in exchange. Likely a 15-20 year deployment, he may well help forge bonds between the Legions, even if he himself may grow more distant. *Orion becomes a hero of the Dark Angels for 15-20 years. Receive Lord Cypher as a Warden hero for an equivalent period of time.*
-[X] Write-in: The Triquetra: There is much for the Librarians of the Eternal Wardens to do, and to make sure that it is all done with appropriate focus, you decide to do something unorthodox but not unprecedented. You will select more than one of the candidates for the position and have them work together, with each having their own focus and duties. Raz will lead the Librarians. He bring out their heart and with him in a position of authority, your librarians will gain not only guidance and support that few others can give them. That in turn shall spread to the rest of the Eternal Wardens through them and even the Imperial Army as your Librarians become beacons of valor and might. To balance Raz's impetuousness and devotion to others before himself, you will bring in Kendrin and Nasim. Nasin will bring valuable insights, knowledge, and skills from the Thousand Sons as well as gaining his own insights on how to properly mesh with the Eternal Wardens from Raz and awareness from Kendin. Nasin will also learn from and in turn teach Kendin on the matters of telepathy and the subject of detecting corrupted thoughts and individuals, a matter that has come to the concern and interest of several of your brothers. Kendin as well will bring closer ties to your twin brothers and provide a bridge between them to the Thousand Sons, fostering greater cooperation between your kin, something that the Imperium will sorely need in the days to come.

[X] [Social] Horus - The first Primarch to be discovered sent Kesar a letter saying that he really needed to talk with the Daemonsbane. In his letter, he described seeing moons fighting each other in the warp, and fighting a daemon that served Khorne. …This is probably important.
[X] [Social] Vulkan - The Lord of Drakes lacked his normal energy before the Maelstrom, now his letter felt as if written by a weary man. In it, the Primarch is asking for advice from Kesar directly, saying he has a choice to make and doesn't know what to do.
[X] [Social] Dorn - It is rare that Dorn's schedule aligns with Kesar, yet now it has. The Primarch of the Imperial Fists wishes to congratulate Kesar for his victory in the Maelstrom, and to ask for an introduction to Perturabo. It seems the drop fortresses impressed him and he wishes to make a few for his Legion.
[X] [Social] Magnus - The Cyclops apologized for getting angry at Kesar before the Maelstrom War. It seems he's gained some perspective when it comes to the Archdaemons. While Kesar did promise to visit after the Ritual War, Magnus understands that there may be other obligations. However, he did also say he had to admit to what Kesar might consider a reckless decision.
[X] [Social] Party on Olympia - Perturabo has invited Kesar to visit his sister, and has also invited Khan to see his homeworld. A party on the Lord of Iron's homeworld would be a nice break, and meeting his brother's sister is bound to be interesting. Maybe she has stories of a young Perturabo?
[X] [Social] The Emperor - The Emperor is planning to hold a brief rewards ceremony for the Primarchs, however, it would be possible to meet him afterwards. Considering what they accomplished, it would be informative to hear what the Emperor's own struggles were. Moreover, with Angron's trial to come, Kesar is curious as to why the Red Angel was the way he was.
[X] [Social] Kelbor-Hal - The Fabricator-General of Mars has indicated he's putting together a multi-Primarch project for the Maelstrom that could solve many of the Imperium's problems with exploiting it. According to him, Kesar's help would be instrumental for it. While the project could conceivably go ahead without the Daemonsbane, Kelbor admits he'd likely have to scale it back significantly.
[X] [Social] The Carthago Tribunal - The Trial of Angron, the Brother's Trial. Every Primarch will attend, and Kesar is no exception. All that remains is for the Primarchs to discuss his fate.

===============================================

So there's my two plans, basically centered around 2 themes. The first one is about focusing on our legion and helping Khan's, the Raz, Nasin, and Savinath combo will get our legion max gains with least downsides and hopefully help each other work through their own issues. It will present for the best long term growth imo, and also help Orion not only find out who he is but also help Khan and ensure that we are bound to him and show we care.

Second plan is more focused on spreading the love as well as being more guided to getting ourselves prepared for cultist hunting as well as introducing not only the Thousand Sons to each other, but also Cypher to both with Orion's exchange. Orion in turn will tie closer to the Dark Angels as well as the Imperial Fists.

Also, I probably should have asked this earlier, but from the way I read this, Savinath is essentially the center of a trio with Raz and Nazim who command the Librarians as a whole as a group?

I think that Savinath would be good with runes, caution and a look against curses go well with a rune focused Librarian. With his position bringing a lack of potential death hanging over him compared to the other two options.

Raz for support, essentially focused on purity and being psychic chaplains due to him literally acting like a shounen protagonist in terms of motivating others and literally being able to enter minds and punch the Chaos out. Oh, and being an empath too.

Nasin for battle due to being a pyromancer, having an insanely good sniper rifle, and the Thousand Sons being super experienced in fighting in battle with their powers.

Sound good? That's just an idea, though. I actually like the idea of having it not be fully defied yet, so that these three can naturally grow into their positions and work it out on their own somewhat with the help of the First Captain and Kesar Dorlin. And the Library and Legion as a whole too. This is meant to be a trial period, after all.

Yeah Savinath on runes makes sense, plus it'd give Nasin and Raz time to work on his clingyness as well as giving Savinath the time to safely train other libararians.

Raz for support makes sense as it'd put him in the best place to guide others, support them when they are down and lean in on the idea that our Chaplains are psykers.

Nasin being the battle one makes the most sense, as well as giving the others a chance to get Nasin properly acclimated.

[X] [Social] The Emperor

It's a weird group, but ket me explain my reasoning here:
This is the absolute most defensive group we can make. Savinath decreases casualties directly, and can be kept on Valhalla to help traing that up passively pretty well. Could also be used as a background commander as well to decrease casualties. Like Aurelian does. Potentially.
Raz is a Chaplain, which increases CR, and thus further decreases casualties while helping pursue our main thing.
And Abdul not only provides a bonus to our Legion's knowledge and general combat, but also he's training the Biomancers, has a massive dueling bonus, a bonus to infanstructe, paperwork, diplomacy, tactics, and also nine more traits.

Not a big fan of giving up all pur research, but I'll be honest we kind of need to meet people. However, we definitely need to meet Dorn! I like the idea of asking him to help our clear the Daemons in the Maelstrom. That way, not only do we get to grow closer to him, but we can teach/traing his CR, and AD, while letting him get some much needed revenge and experience working with Pert, his defenses, and his plans.
Edit: Wait, do I also have to remove my dashes?
