So is it just me or does it feel like Primarchs don't really have a hard cap for how powerful they get? Naturally they'll start having trouble becoming better after a certain point but they're immortal. If they trained for long enough in basically anything it feels like they could become closer to "Emperor Lite" than Emperor/20.
Yeah that is completely true. The theory is that the Emperor made them nascent gods so that they could grow more powerful as time went. Biggest example of this when Corvus beat Daemon Prince Lorgar on a demon world in the eye of terror. It was a horrible beating and as a Daemon Prince Lorgar should have had every advantage but Corvi our grew him. It real interesting that chaos turning the primarchs into Daemon princes actually capped their growth while the primarchs grew.

...I did not know this.

could somebody canon-check this? cas this is a major divation from my understnading of canon (deamon princes being capped unlike primarchs)

Now we just have to worry about what that Daemon in the ship is doing. Also, @Daemon Hunter did our Titans get any improvements from the utter annihilation of enemy forces? Like a boost to corruption resistance?

Another example of this theory is what happen to the shards of Magnus. Which was Magnus soul. Now th shards were used for a immense power up and did amazing things . First we have the shard of knowledge which helped with Vulkan resurrection and helped traitors try to stop it. It was neither good nor bad but was extremely powerful because it was Magnus love of knowledge. Than we have the shard Ahriman used on himself to power himself up to do the rubicon. Ahriman went from being a powerful sorcery to a demigod with one shard. Than last big example of Magnus shards is the one that combined with a grey knight to create Janus the first grandmaster of the grey knights. That shard was the good part of the Magnus. Which gave Janus enough power to fight Daemon primarchs.

Now I bring up the shards because they are what got replaced by Tzeentch with the warp. Magnus than became more powerful but the shards of his continued to grow while he has not. Ahriman is still going around trying to find all of them in cannon.

Then why did we land in the first place? The only reason we landed was to capture their industry in one piece.
because bombardment doesnt just destroy industry it destorys the ground itself and so we would have hundreds of extra years of extra rebuilding.

also, even 0.1% of DAoT is worth a bit, also new traits, also, embers-mechanic of reduced effectiveness of bombardment might apply here (don't know DM's opinon on that).

Anyone else think of Kesar as a Paladin? He needs to get psychic powers first of course but I feel like that fits him sorta like how Magnus is a Sorcerer, Leman is a Fighter, Corvus is a Rogue, etc.

Well, I certainly hope its not the D&D versions, spellcasters be highly OP in those systems.

Less OP in 5e, still OP but everyone got hit nerfy nerf nerf. Though may I say, Oath of Redemption pretty decent depending on how lenient GM is and if you can argue for it just a little. Especially if you already have top quality health, armor, and then you're a douchebag with a celestial weapon that also restores health per hit alongside some other health restoring equipment to waste first. Top kek to breaking the home brew against GMs trying to nightmare railroad you.

Nah, we making our own machine God/awakening all machine spirits for real :V
We've just started a Build-A-God Workshop. Well at least he won't do it as quickly as Serras. Alternatively, creating Machine Souls sound awesome. They might even allow us to create a safe version of the Men of Iron.
In reality we are the machine God, but we don't know it yet.
What a twist! But seriously, that would be a really cool surprise.
according to my omakes the Vigilance is nearly there in awakening and getting a true soul
I wonder what the Mechanicus might think of Vigil getting that. Actually, have the Thousand Sons noticed that about her?

the Thousand Sons have not found out yet because I'm bad at writing conversations but I suspect the implications would be massive as vigil has manage to self improve herself vie literally carving the names of fallen battle brothers onto the pseudo soul the machine spirts have
