I feel like we can't really speculate on what changes there will be without SOME kind of Word-o-durin on what kind things he doesn't like about the current system.

@Durin, is it assumed that as the premiere expert on Astartes and Primarch physiology that Corvus will help bring Guilliman back or will he only help if we ask for his help?
He said that we have to ask at least 5 years before the healing action finishes for Corvus to come.

I would be extremely surprised and genuinely shocked to the point of calling shenanigans if the Ultramarines don't at least have their best apothecary on-site no matter what we do for the healing of their own Primarch.
This is the main reason that people are arguing that we don't need to have Corvus there. IIRC Durin himself stated that him being there would only improve the odds a very miniscule amount. Which makes sense since it would be a collosally stupid oversight for the Emperor to not consider that maybe making it so only another Primarch could heal a mundane wound instead of making sure any doctor on their side could would be really stupid and counter productive.

It also wouldn't make sense that the Eldar, Quartus or Secondus wouldn't send the best mundane surgeon to help Guilliman since said surgeon wouldn't be playing another vital role like the Primarchs are in fighting the strongest Nid hive fleet.

To be precise:

10. What impact would Corvus's participation have on the chances of succeeding at healing Guilliman?
11. Would the chances of success be noticeably better if Corvus helped to heal Guilliman's wound, instead of ordinary surgery/Ridcully using biomancy to do so?(edited)
10. increase
11. only a tiny bit

From a reading here this will boost odds by less than 1%.

This is actually a good point. Ridcully is actually a good healer and he would have a true healing Rune. Not sure why he couldn't deal with the neck wound.

Also am surprised no one remembers the time people suggested sending Corvus to help with the Isha mission ended up with Ridcully sarcastically pointing out that 'sure they would love to send out a primarch during serious war going on in their realm'. And note this was sending him to rescue a goddess that would oppose the chaos gods. I have no idea why people think he'd go now for something like less than a one percent improvement for a primarch fixing a wound other people are qualified to fix while we are already having another Primarch help out for 3 years. And again the whole 'they are winning!' thing is still bull since even a short time of someone like him being out of action can be bad with the time Ridcully was taken out during a daemonic incursion would tell you.

Hell, Lin isn't actually the only one that can cure Gill man since Isha could do it and maybe even Russ with time. Lin is just currently the most convinient at the moment.

From my reading it will boost odds by 1%, which given previous incidents of 1 point differences could very well make a difference. Though I do suppose the knock-on effects on the war would probably have a greater difference. Well, I did say earlier in the thread that we'd lose if we never try to sometimes have our cake and eat it too.

Man, it's like people forgot that Ridcully only survived the Nurgle raid because of the +1-2% from an Omake. If we fail by the margin that would have succeeded with Corax I take that as de facto permission to mock you incessantly.

@Durin
Some question for a side project.
1. Does the Basilisk count as an light or medium vehicle?
2. Does the (Royal) Earthshaker count as an Ordinance or Heavy Ordinance weapon?
3. Does the artillery piece the Codiac Support Artillery uses count as Ordinance or Heavy Ordinance?
1. medium
2. Heavy Ordinance
3. Ordinance

Vulcan would have told Corax about the healing of papa smurf , that he did not involve himself means he figured he was not needed or else he would already be involved , your just wasting an action with the Corax plan and the GM already said something along these lines some time ago

9. Will Corvus already be there because of the Eldar, or do we still need to give him advance notice?
9. you need to give him advnaced notice
10. What impact would Corvus's participation have on the chances of succeeding at healing Guilliman?
10. increase
from the discord.

So... would any of the other sane human polities have incomplete STCs? Just stuff that they didn't share before because they didn't actually have the complete stc for it? Just seems like something we could do something about if so.

I think they have that covered by the sheer size and population of there respective R&D they will have people good enough to put them together unless it was something Realy Realy complicated.

Yeah, but if it is really really complicated, that'd be right up Tranth's alley, and potentially super helpful. And I really want Tranth to get more traits for stuff.
