They're supposed to be capstone projects, so I think they'll be royal level instead of master.
Master Alkahestry- The Nynye are now willing to share the secrets of Alkahestry with the Adeptus Astra Telepathica. While Alkahestry is a highly complex art that takes decades to learn, your psykers now have a solid foundation.

Time: 14 years
Chance of Success: 30% (uses learning)

Cost: Free
Reward: Adeptus Astra Telepathica learns master level skills of Alkahestry, unlocks Alkahestry creation and Royal Alkahestry
Bolded for emphasis.

Cleanse World (Medium)- There are thirteen tainted worlds recently captured from Valinor. Of these worlds six are lightly tainted, six are moderately tainted and one is heavily tainted. Saint Lin believes that with a few decades work he could totally cleanse the worlds, or at least reduce the level of taint.

Time: 2 years
Chance of Success: 10% (76% after bonuses)

Cost: 40,000,000 Thrones, 7,900 Advanced Material, 890 Exotic Material, 1 Relic Materials
Reward: Reduce the taint of selected world by 1 level, 2 on a crit.

Complete
year one d100=8+57(stats)+10(traits)=75: Fail
year one re-roll d100=68+57(stats)+10(traits)+15(Paragon Diviner)=150: Success

Four years ago Saint Lin removed enough of the taint on Formenos so that it is now only lightly tainted. While it would only take another couple of years for him to remove the rest of the taint, light taint is low enough that Niflheimer or Avernite colonists should be able to settle the world with few problems, and normal Psykers should be able to cleanse the world given a few decades.
we really should get this done so we can add 13 worlds to the Imperial Trust

I'm pretty sure that means "'Royal Alkahestry' the action", just like how there's an action called Master Alkahestry. So we have to do the Master Alkahestry action, then the Royal Alkahestry action, then we can do those capstone projects.

13 extra worlds is not anywhere near as important as the knowledge Lin can get, which is knowledge that only Lin is able to get. It's for this reason that Lin himself said he wants to focus as much as he can on his studies.

I think he meant the colonisation of the worlds now taint is light enough.

Pretty good turn for Avernus. Less so for the galaxy at large but we aren't big enough to care about that stuff.

The Volkite turned out to be very underwhelming. Better to leave it as a specialist/heavy weapon and use a more universally effective weapon as the primary armament.

The Trust will need to decide where to ship untrained psykers. I advocate the non-Avernus branches, as loosing half of the prospective psykers to wildlife seems inefficient.

Hmmm... shame we don't have a psychologist on our hero roster.
Jane and Rotbart both have a quite high burnout counter for certain, and it's unknown if other's (like Tranth- all those attacks got to be stressful) don't have that as well.
While we lowered two of them, it will go back up again soon enough.

Actually, @Durin
1. Is the burnout counter something our advisors have, besides Jane?
1a. Any heores in general who have that?
2. What is a hypothetical effect of letting this counter reach certain tresholds? Negative traits, action slots unavailable?
1. probably
1a, no
2. most leily either losing an action slot for a while or a negative trait
@Durin, would Lileath be willing to bless Ridcully if he finds enough of her shards for her?
unknown, probebly not

@Durin

1. Out of curiosity has Rotbart ever had his mind read? (That he knows of anyway.) You know we all want the spirit of SV living in Rotbart's brain.
2. What scale of action do we need to push Rotbart over Paragon Combat?
3. How does Ridcully feel about learning non-Divination disciplines, say under Areatha? (Ridcully is possibly the ideal student in this case, near-Transcendent Alpha psyker)

Astral Knights - 1d4chan
[Chief Librarian] Hyalhi watched from the wreckage of the Tempestus as Yggra'nya utterly destroyed Heqiroth and powered down Borsis' shields, allowing the Navy to finish the job. Hyalhi entered a savior pod and died, but not before locking the memories of the battle in his mind for the Inquisition to find.

With the World Engine destroyed and Hyalhi's memories fully in the Inquisition's hands, the Astral Knights accomplished far more than saving Varvenkast. The information in Hyalhi's head gave the Inquisition a new understanding into Necron culture and battle and gave them knowledge of the Star Gods
@Durin, is reading the brains of the diseased something that's possible to do in Embers?

I'd rather have grand cruiser scale black ships than battleship. We shoud be able to get a smaller ship into service a bit faster which lets us save a few more years worth of the Trust's psykers. It should also mean we can afford more of them which improves both coverage and redundancy.

I'd wait until we actually have the options on the table and know their pros and cons for sure before having this discussion.

Okay guys, I think when expanding our shipyard we should focus on smallshipyards instead of largeshipyards.

1)this should increase the rate of expansion. Huge shipyards can make largeshipyards wholesale, but large shipyards can make small shipyards wholesale. Meaning we get a larger proportion of our output dedicated to shipyard building. Huge + large, instead of just huge.

2) smaller shipyards are more costefficient in the am and em they produce in comparison to upkeep costs. The tradeoff is that they can't service larger ships, but since we need slips earmarkrd for 1000 escort cruisers, having those slips in small shipyards doesn't harm us.

Iirc, it's 15.
Valinor subsector has 7 worlds, conquered 9 from the orks.

16, 1 of which can't be colonised because it's a daemon world.

Waaagh Ironbusta has been making rapid progress against Amir'Ka, hitting a dozen worlds, five of which have already fallen. Reinforcements have been rushed to combat the Waaagh before it gains any more momentum, led by the newly elected President herself. Many in Imperial Trust's High Command are wondering who they want to win.
my biggest concern coming out of this is that the Amir'Ka might start looking more outwards and might pick us as a target practice before they go for a bigger target but on the other hand while a dozen worlds have been hit and 5 have fallen might not be a big lose as they have 455 Worlds there loses for Military and Fleets will be huge as they still have imperial era tech and might invite other fractions to attack and i think it was the Forge world in Amir'Ka that lost 90% of its Fleet when it attack us so they wont be able to help the rest of Amir'Ka to rebuild there worlds and Fleets for a long while

You are informed that this should be able to extend a human's life span by around thirty years.
we need to do this to Saint Lin as this will give us 6 more turns to use him

Have we looked into whether it would be worth giving the Helltroopers and Hellguard Neutron weapons? Or are they just too costly at the moment?
