Unless the rogue trade has a OP admin score I think we should go for the Knight house. Because I still have a dream of Jacob in a Titan than in a terminator armor. Because he deserves to be someone Boss fight.
 
While he is a pretty good husbando, Syr can already navy pretty well, plus she has higher martial and combat. Basically, this suitor appears to be a Syr-lite, which we dont really need. Nice to have but not necessary.
 
Askr might just be less likely to die to Avernus with that Lucky trait, especially if he does spend some appreciable amount of time in void.
And diplomatic ties with Vanaheim seem a lot more valuable than with Asgard. That's really his main selling point.
 
We already have ties to Vanaheim. We married a daughter of Vanaheim, our Daughter is blood of Vanir, is the protege of her uncle who is a Vanir as well. We are very well connected with them by both blood and political.

The big thing with ShipBoi is that he'd give Bertril a good chance of being replaced, which is good for us. The trade-off is that a specialist in commanding singular battleships is not really something that we need.

Can I convince you (and maybe other questers) to not vote for a single candidate now but to first organize a meeting between the two higher thought after to let Syr meet them in a none professional venue?
I am concerned about the descriptor at the end of the commanders profile that he seems kind of bland outside his bridge...

Bertril has had a major shift because of the conference. It is likely he is more progressive now. Either way he was close to being deposed anyways so we don't have to do anything more for that.

We are not voting yet. Also all a meeting will do is maybe give us more information on the candidates. Syr is not going to give us any hint to say I want one or the other. It is up to the players to decide not the QM. Which is what asking Syr is basically trying to do.

That +20 is to all teaching rolls not just for Knights. Sigmund has spent a lot of time training all kinds of people for battle. Along with leading forces in battle or just killing enemies in every single war since The Pink Skies.

Yes that but he was already losing steam and the Progressive side was getting closer to outing him before the conference anyways. So either way I don't think he is a major obstacle anymore.
 
We still have the 2 Dragon Nest candidates to go before the final discussion and decisions are made. Don't know what their sheets look like yet might be great might only be alright.
