Also I Thing to mention in the high council meeting is the possibility of equipping advanced power armour and who pays.
We can just ask Security Council representative if that is the case. Or Durin, if we think Rotbart should know, which he probably should.I don't think there is much point bringing up the possibility of mass deployment of APA. It is simply to expensive to be afforable given the Trusts current income.
2. Also why did Zar have to kill the other seers? The Silver Skull I can get, but the Eldar ones? Would they have exploded into plague if she hadn't?
1. it was Jain Zar bringing him up to speed on what has been happening@Durin
1. What was the brief conversation Eldrad had with Jain Zar when he returned? This one?
2. Also why did Zar have to kill the other seers? The Silver Skull I can get, but the Eldar ones? Would they have exploded into plague if she hadn't?
Cloacina - WikipediaThe Lucricae Cult was a group of twelve Tech-Priest who formed in 886.M41. As their name would imply, they worshiped lubricant and thought that its contributions to technology kept the universe running smoothly. The priests anointed themselves with a mixture of war-virgin's blood and boiling grease as they declared open war on their former brethren. Deemed heretical by Imperial authorities, an Eversor Assassin was dispatched and slew every one of them within moments. Without leadership, their heretical Skitarii followers are swiftly defeated.
Annona (mythology) - WikipediaIn Roman mythology, Cloacina, "The Cleanser" (from the Latin verb cluo, "to cleanse", from which also cloaca, "sewer, drain") was the goddess who presided over the Cloaca Maxima ("Greatest Drain"), the main trunk of the system of sewers in Rome.
@Durin, is it possible for gods of such ridiculously small and specific domains to come into existence? In ancient Roman religion, Annona (Latin annōna "corn, grain; means of subsistence", from annus "year") is the divine personification of the grain supply to the city of Rome.
Bit of a problem here, Nurgle. Year 2 double down for a Year 3 action.
It's a waste to do this in the Personal Attention slot. The meeting does not take up a Personal Attention action. This is why I have Rotbart doing the Locator Shells, and the light power weapons in the main martial section.
Question for ordering:
First feasability and afterwards "implementation OR study"? I ask bedause the feasability only takes 1 year and starting directly afterwards is not planable without an action.
It is the same problem we had during the time Jane set up her school. We could only plan to do the psyker investigatIon (they ended up controling the navy high command) and than could not follow up on the results because of the 5 year plans...
It ended up taking 3 or 4 turns despite the action chain having only 5 years...
You can though you should also put in an alternative in case it is impossible
I ask here because I am not on top of the thread but I can put the questions there at a later date instead.
As background for the question:
You have explained once that what is for us relic material is for (for example because they use more materium tech) the necrons only exotic (or even advanced) material.
Would
Feasibility Study: (Expand (normal) Material Use)with the goal of advancing the quality of Material so that the normal manufactoriums can supply "simple" AM. Narative wise the increase of quality would NOT mean for the Mechanicus that uninitiated would work on advanced technology.
Mechanics wise it could take the form of shifting X% of AM cost to Material cost. I would be against shifting X% of Material production to AM production because it would gravely dimishing the value of AM.
My question is:
1. Would such a study be valid?
2. I have seen the answer that AM production would be an advanced Technology Fundamentals research but would Material production be basic than?
3. I would spitball that the requirements would be both basic and advanced Material production. Is that true or would only one of the two (do not ask which) be required?
Because of that @Enjou ,@Nurgle ,@Shard I would normally propose that we look into fundamental research of fabrication but with the comming tech trade delaying it seems fine as well. Just for the large pile of things to do.1. Yes but you would need to have done the fundementals for both material and AM first
2. It would
3. As above
1. With this beeing a free action we can not double down on it.Technology Fundamentals:
*snip*
Chance of Success: -20%(-20% per level above basic, does not get any non character bonuses) (62%-20 per difficulty level)
Huh? As I understand it, chances for basic are 62%, with every level above it giving -20%. Second part is there simply so we don't have to calculate Tranth's bonuses. That means the chance for Basic is: -20% + (62-20) = 22% because basic is the first difficulty level. The first part of the wording support that.
Is that correct or does basic count as the zero level?
I read it as if the 62% is the bonus Thrant get through stat and skills.Huh? As I understand it, chances for basic are 62%, with every level above it giving -20%. Second part is there simply so we don't have to calculate Tranth's bonuses.
come into existence, maybe if they are worshiped for an extended period, live more then a very brief period, noLubricae Cult - Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum

1. basic is 0 levelBecause I was not up to date on the threat I asked Durin some question over conversation:

2. Lets asume the above is false. Than the chance for basic would be 42% and for advanced -40% + (62-20) = 2%.
Is the double malus wanted?
3. Lets asume that the double malus is wanted, because of the explicit wording. Can Thrant get similar boni from doing the more basic fundamentals leading up to a more advanced? For one or both of the mali?
4. Thrant has already the fundamentals of Haywire and Stealth. Are they basic or advanced?
4a. If one of them is advanced or higher would fundamentals more basic get a bonus for research?
4b. If one of them is advanced or higher what are their more basic fundamental researches?
1. basic@Durin
1. What level is laser weapons?
2. What level are neutron laser weapons?
3. If we got "Fundamentals of lasers," would that provide some sort of bonus for "Fundamentals of neutron lasers?"
I wonder if there's a god of stepping on small objects.come into existence, maybe if they are worshiped for an extended period, live more then a very brief period, no
Done@Nurgle - you're not using year two double down, put it on Anti-Psyker Training.
And now I'm wondering that if Ridcully gets far enough along the path of ascension he'll be able to curse creatures into existence, like the Imperative "Emperor" Blast it and the Bloody Hellfire.
Well the above was more a joke in reference to his discworld inspiration, who during a time of great magic started to curse beings into existence via swearing. What I think is that the farther Ridcully walks down the path the stronger he becomes as a mortal. Even if he becomes a Transendant he is still technically a mortal. I want him to walk all the way to the end of the path. That way when he chooses and accepts Ascension to Godhood he becomes as skilled as possible. I asked Durin when the Blind Seer trait was upgraded what it would do when Ridcully becamea god and Durin said it wouldn't make make him stronger but more skilled.
Well the above was more a joke in reference to his discworld inspiration, who during a time of great magic started to curse beings into existence via swearing.
Nah I think Transcendents are considered Immortal. They certainly don't care about dying of old age.
Him getting to the end of the path is very much a question mark.
Remember there are Nine steps and he's only on the second.
He may have to ascend early, if only to get a skill boost in dark times.
