@Nurgle did some more edits, since we are running positive with midgard I moved 1 hype juve-nat and 5 juve-nat to vanheim, we are still losing massive amounts of trade credits with them but a about 30k less of a loss this way. Also made a 1 bil throne payment to vanheim and reduced metal purchases from jotunheim to 6 bil. We do have that banking action that is nearly done for a big throne income increase and we have access to some mine expansions soon t really boost our metal income (though metal is not worth a ton for trade).
Sell 2 billion metal and 1 billion material to Alfhiem than up 2 billion more throne payment to Nilfhiem.

We should be good with that 15 billion increase next turn

Hmm, we are selling max material to those that want it currently except Jotunheim, but would still be nice to increase our own income levels and build up a reserve. I think we can get away with even more thrones, maybe 3 bil more as that will keep us positive by 660 mil and the banking action finishes two years into next turn at which point we are getting a nice 15 bil a year.

Very Advanced Reactors: Stable- Archmagos Veneratus Tranth believes that he could redesign the stable reactordesigns found in the datacores using the knowledge he gained from reverse engineering The Well of Urd's reactors. While this would allow you to get half again as much output while maintaining the stability it is also an act that is right on the edge of heretical. While Archmagos Explorator Tranth is willing to carry it out and Fabricator-General Britton is willing to allow it, carrying out this project will give ammunition to their opponents within the Mechanicus.

Time: 1 year.
Chance of Success: -20% (74% after bonuses)

Cost: 11,000,000 Thrones, 1,100,000 Material, 550,000 Promethium, 79,000 Advanced Material, 8,900 Exotic Material, -1 Mechanicus Morale, +2 Mechanicus instability.
Reward: Gain Very Advanced Stable Plasma Reactor, which is an Stable Plasma Reactor with half against the output.

Very Advanced Reactors: Overcharged- Archmagos Veneratus Tranth believes that he could redesign the overcharged reactor designs found in the datacores using the knowledge he gained from reverse engineering The Well of Urd's reactors. While this would allow you to get half again as much output, a truly massive amount, it is also an act that is right on the edge of heretical. While Archmagos Explorator Tranth is willing to carry it out and Fabricator-General Britton is willing to allow it, carrying out this project will give ammunition to their opponents within the Mechanicus.

These options, specifically. I believed we were going to raise them up this high council meeting?

I know we can go with 3 billion more thrones to Nilfhiem

@Void Stalker You see anything else we can add? or are we good?

I upped them to 5 bil, buying from Alfheim though is not needed since we are getting that 15 bil per year increase from the banking action this coming turn and we have a very hefty thrones reserve to cover the two years it needs to complete.

Still our main pain point is the high cost of EM and AM per trade unit (with AM being the most by far). Looking at it all of our hype and advanced juve nat sales is the same credit worth as the AM purchase from Musplheim. The normal juve-nat and material sales credit worth is the same of the Nilfhiem EM purchase.

Edit: Unimportant /\
edit2: also I somehow managed to strikethough the quote as well and can't undo it, huh you learn something new every day. I'm considering deleting everything before the edits.

EDIT3 I said a bunch of ultimately unimportant things before the edits, but I deleted them because I want to focus discussion on what I wrote after the edits. Down here\/

New idea, skip the international diplomacy, we don't even bother trying to assemble the fleet and ground forces for this role out of the listed human polities.
I mean if we can get the Blood Dragons to contribute or can bribe the other human polities to throw in a few ships or Astartes then great, but that's not where most should have to come from.

I infer that even if they've never been mentioned outside of the divination write up on what happened to the White Scars that there must be a bunch of mercenaries wandering about.
There's so much war that the economic impetus for their existence is stronger than ever, between the displaced or fleet based Astartes, the escaped fleets and armies of defeated polities, deserting ships, and smaller mercenary organizations that eventually gathered enough wealth to buy ships and go interstellar there must be far more than enough of them within a thousand light years to match a minor Chaos polity in quantity.

So we spend a couple of divinations locating them all, and finding the best deals, then we hire an absurd number of them for a one-time gig. They fill out the extra numbers we would need to simultaneously attack Turoq and defend our worlds, with each division of forces being split between the Merc's and our own troops to help ensure reliability.
It'd be worth it because Turoq is unusually smart and taking them out of the playing field would be worth a giant one-time expense.

@Durin
Can we hire enough mercenaries?

@Durin - the resource table still has error in base material income (it's more than order of magnitude too low) but I assume the total is correct.

We will also need to look into expanding our food production, we are consuming 97+% of our income.

These options, specifically. I believed we were going to raise them up this high council meeting?
No we didn't, even trying to do so would be a tremendous political blunder. Both conservative and progressive AdMech don't want outsiders trying to influence such sensitive matters.

@Nurgle We have cargo space we aren't using this turn. it's spreading the debt around a bit, but we can buy materials from Byzantium and sell them for a profit of 2.9 Cr to Nilfheim profit of 14500 Cr for 5000 units. materials from Midgard and sell to Muspelheim 1.9 Cr will also make a profit of 1900 Cr for 1000 units. Thrones from Alfheim and sell to Nilfheim 0.4 Cr for a profit of 4000 Cr for 10,000 units.

it's small compared to our total debt, but it may help. just thought I'd throw that out there.

We are selling the Max material to Musphelhiem already. Also selling the max thrones to Nilfhiem too. I had considered buying material and selling it but that just changes the debt from Nilfhiem to Byzantine.

Edit actually no we are maxed out on everything but thrones with Nilfhiem now.

Would people prefer to be in a Greek Economic crisis or be Poland in 1940?

Debt really isn't that serious an issue when you're in 40k.

Creating one of Fulgrim, of you, from before your corruption…it is within what we know of his capabilities."

Aww, he considers Clonegrim his true brother.

Someone really needs to do something about Bile, especially in the Embersverse. Who knows what the fall of the Emperor let him get away with.

Considering that Abbadon and his legion absolutely HATE Bile, it's possible that Bile has a harder time getting things done in a galaxy where Abbadon's Dark Imperium is the sole human superpower.
