First the Northern Sentinel Titan Killer is pretty much designed for this kind of environment so I'd recommend that you get them out and harassing their titans with diviner support.
If they're as fitting as you say they are, we can expect them to be used by default. No need for a write-in.

Second I'd ask how likely it would be that Xavier and Co could scry and fry the main general if they focus on him.
Close to nothing. The main general's place would be heavily warded, moreso than what we've had to deal with already. If it was possible, I don't see why Xavier and Co wouldn't have done it by now. Chaos Lords are probably the most valuable troops we can destroy with Scry and Fry.

[] 2nd Daemonology choir will rest unless something big and warpy is going on, in which case they will shut it down.
[] Three quarters of the 1st Divination choir will rest unless the Space Marines start arriving in drop pods, in which case they will help shoot them down.

@Durin

1. Are the enemy Titans sufficiently daemonic that the Banishment daemonology power can be used on them?
2. Are there any important characters on the ground like the Sorcerer Lords or the Chapter Master?

3. Can they be used in a similar way to choirs or are they exclusively for battlefield use? If they can be used as choirs, in which way is it better for them to be used?
4. Where are their psykers?
5. How exactly do they plan to overwhelm our psykers with angyls?
1. no
2. three of the Sorcerer Lord
3. mostly for Battlefield use
4. split between ground and space
5. summon angyls who are psykers and can summon angyls
@Andres110
Few things

Third I think the Execution Forces are supposed to be like mini titan legions, I'll check.

@Durin
1. If they focus on doing it, maybe with Lulana's support to break down the wards does Xavier and Ridcully think they could scry and fry the main general?
2. How powerful are Execution forces? Before you buffed psyker power I recall you saying that they were like a Titan legion due to the number and skill of betas and other powerful psykers. Is that still the case?
3. Have the astartes not made any attempts at landing yet?
1.; it would be hard but with Lulans support and some good rolls yes, though there is still a greater then even chance that your best three psykers and most powerful choir will be held up for a day to no effect
2. lets just say that they can take out a Warlord Titan in less then a minute
3. no
The Chaos Lords just got updated.

I'm wondering exactly what sort of defences the Abomination can muster up against Scry and Fry, actually.

@Durin

1. What do the Abomination Plans say on Scry-and-Fry?
a. If it isn't in their plans.. they literally can't adapt to counter them, can they?
1. nothing
1a. they can but not easily

2. lets just say that they can take out a Warlord Titan in less then a minute
@Durin
1. And an Abomination enhanced warlord?
1ii. What kind of casualties are we looking at if they go for a Warlord?
2. What about an abomination Warlord caught in a trap?
3. Given the terrain how dangerous are the Northern Sentinels against the Titans? IIRC they're supposed to do best in mountainous terrain?
4. Do we think that a charge of Thundabeasts would be able to make much impact in this area?
5. Do we know what the main troll tribes are up to? As I recall our forces are only the people they've given to us to use, but the rest should still be active and I believe we are coordinating?

2. three of the Sorcerer Lord
1. What assets are recommended in order to take one of them out?
2. What about for all three?
3. Would it be harder or easier to scry and fry the Sorcerer Lords that are in space compared to the main general?
4. How difficult would it be to scry and fry the three ground-bound Sorcerer Lords?

Okay, thinking up a plan...

[] Air Option 5: Support harassment- This will preserve the majority of your airforce while providing assistance to the forces that you have deployed in the field.
[] Harassment Option 3: Deploy half of your harassment forces close to landing sites
[] Low- This will result less damage but better exchange rates and preserving more of your harrasment forces for the future.
[] Mine Option 3: Use Half of available mines- This will inflict significant damage and provide many opportunities to your harassers while saving half of the mines for later use.

[] Psykers
[] Tamia+Sirens on Dominating Abomination Commanders to Betrayal.
[] Telepathy Choir 2 to Hunt for Infiltrators.
[] 1st and 2nd Diviners to Hunt for Infiltrators.
[] 1st Pyromancer/Ridcully/Xavier to continue Scry-and-Fry Strategies
[] 2nd Pyromancer to rest.
[] 1st, 2nd Telekinetics to rest.
[] 1st, 2nd Daemonologists to continue countering.

@Durin

1. What does Klovis-Ultan have to say on Vindicare and Callidus Temple Assassins? Any advise at all?
2. Suitability of the following in regard to hunting for the Assassins? (Are they already doing so?)
a. Diviner Choir(s)
b. Primaris Executioner Force(s)
c. Inquisitorial Kill Team(s)
d. Last Hunter(s)
e. Witch Hunters
3. The 1st/2nd Biomancer Choir, are they tied up with Augmenting Wildlife, or do their Augments long-lasting or so?
a. We can still leave them on Augmenting the Wildlife?
4. Was there supposed to be Options 4 and 5 (3-quarters and all?) in the Harassment Options? I see 1,2,3,6
5. Do we know the composition of the Abomination's Psychic Choirs? (Specifically, in the form of Telepaths, Daemonologists, etc)
a. And how many of those were used in the previous phase?
6. How severe is the malus to our psykers from tiredness?
7. What do the Abomination Plans say on their psyker usage this phase/turn?

to clarify, does this mean they intend to summon a number of angyls who specialize in summoning to call up a horde of warrior angyls, or are they summoning a number of summoner angyls who will then call up an exponentially growing horde of angyl summoners summoning angyls?
If this was any normal world, we'd be so screwed as we spontaneously became a Daemon World.

Reminds me of D&D 3.5, Chain-Gating Solars.

Reading up on Calledius Assassins, I'm wondering if Biomancers might actually be able to counter them.

Definitely getting a lot of notes for future wars.

Big one being 'Navy - Harassment Forces go to Avernus, Heavy Hitters go to the Orks'.

1. two minutes on average
1ii. ir depends on what else is nearby
2. better but the same
3. very, this is the environment that they were designed to operate in
4. no, mountains are a terrible place for them
5. they are preparing a few mountains to drop on the advance
1. What assets are recommended in order to take one of them out?

3. Would it be harder or easier to scry and fry the Sorcerer Lords that are in space compared to the main general?
4. How difficult would it be to scry and fry the three ground-bound Sorcerer Lords?
1. a Primaris Executation force pluys something to keep the army surrounding them out of the fight
2. they are not together
3. less wards but better sorcer, so harder and a decent chance of him being able to turn the attack back on you with a good roll
4. see above

1. first that there are not worthy of the name, second he provided a lot of information on the originals (basically everything on the wiki)
2. c-e are already doing it, a would be good at it, b would be overkill in a fight and have toruble finding them
3. long lasting enough
4. no, they were removed due to terrain limitations (there is only so many forces you can have harassing at a time before it turns into a field battle which you would lose.
5. they are all sorcerers
6. it starts off smallish -15 but grows quickly
7. that they will start summoning Angyls \
also there is a limit on how many deamons that can be in reality at a time, think of their presence as sucking up the available warp power. the limit is a lot higher then usual given Avernus' nature but Avernus provides its own risks in deamon summoning.

As I understand it, at 50 in a stat you get a paragon trait for it right?

Shouldn't Commissar Dalve Sepet of the Phase Tigers get a paragon Intrigue trait? He has 51 in it.

1. a Primaris Executation force pluys something to keep the army surrounding them out of the fight
Which of the following things are capable of doing that?

1. Xavier
2. Titans
3. Helguard Land Raider regiments backed by Knight Titans
4. Sirens casting Dominate
5. Deathstrikes
6. Psyker regiments

Shouldn't Commissar Dalve Sepet of the Phase Tigers get a paragon Intrigue trait? He has 51 in it.
He does he should also have a paragon combat trait too, but we'll be buggered if we know what either of them are.

Hell we don't even know if his current sheet is accurate the man's just that good at hiding himself.

1. two minutes on average
Kinda terrifying.

Also daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn Trolls.

There's harassment and then there's FUCKUUUUUUUUU

@Durin

1. What is the most significant thing Ridcully could kill at this moment with his rifle?
2. When will the enemy Space Marines come in with their drop pods?
3. Are the Sirens and Trolls fatigued as well?
