not all of it, some though
why?
not all of it, some though
On that subject.due to the daemonic possession yes. otherwise they are battleships that sacrifice some firepower for a lot of durability
1. pretty muchOn that subject.
@Durin
1. Who will be designing our battlebarges? I kinda hope it'll be a cooperative enterprise between us Vanaheim and Byzantium?
2. How powerful do we think it'll be?
We're still not going to be able to make em for a while, the metal hasn't been made yet
Eh might as well throw this in.
3. The modifications I've made to Cobalt sufficient?
No reason...
Seems more like missing it when the purpose was stated in updates.Hard to believe that people didn't understand what the reserve was or what it's supposed to do.
I hope we manage to keep Lin alive through this.
There is really only one purpose to a reserve though, to provide reinforcement when necessary, that doesn't, well shouldn't, need to be specified.Seems more like missing it when the purpose was stated in updates.
Thing is though people assumed the reserve was for us not for Mar Sara/keeping the rest of the Trust safe. There is really only one purpose to a reserve though, to provide reinforcement when necessary, that doesn't, well shouldn't, need to be specified.
Did they? I assumed the reserve would be used as necessary as the situation dictated, which is the standard use of a reserve, I have no idea why people thought the rest of the Trust would shrug and let Lin burn, that makes no sense whatsoever.Thing is though people assumed the reserve was for us not for Mar Sara/keeping the rest of the Trust safe.
I dunno I saw people who seemed to assume the reserve was waiting in the wings to come in and crush the fleet, similar to how we did Garkill, when in actuality its a strategic reserve as you said.Did they? Dunno what help they thought the trust could be other than fleet support, some were adamant in an oversized all in caps way that we are on our own and no help would be sent at all.I dunno I saw people who seemed to assume the reserve was waiting in the wings to come in and crush the fleet, similar to how we did Garkill, when in actuality its a strategic reserve as you said.
I don't think anyone thought the Trust would let Lin die though that in and of itself is unlikely.
Well I can't deny that for the moment we are on our own, but hopefully not for very long.Dunno what help they thought the trust could be other than fleet support, some were adamant in an oversized all in caps way that we are on our own and no help would be sent at all.
Aye we are, but we chose to be on our own, we voted not to have Trust fleet support assigned to the Avernus system before the crusade dropped in keeping that reserve nice and large and risking us needing to wait for support if the crusade fleet was large enough, I hoped that would of been a factor when it came to people making their plans for the war, it was surprising to find out otherwise.Well I can't deny that for the moment we are on our own, but hopefully not for very long.
Eh in this case I think I'll chalk it up to time.Aye we are, but we chose to be on our own, we voted not to have Trust fleet support assigned to the Avernus system before the crusade dropped in keeping that reserve nice and large and risking us needing to wait for support if the crusade fleet was large enough, I hoped that would of been a factor when it came to people making their plans for the war, it was surprising to find out otherwise.
1. YES@Durin
You said that we can reliably target up to commodores. Brigadiers are the equivalent rank in the army as far as I know.
1. So does that mean we would target the equivalent rank in the army too ?
2. Or would we be able to target higher ranks in the army since the army officers are more likely to be with their soldiers, i.e in the transports ?
Probably better, the thunderbeasts devastated the orks just because they were in the way, they will actively hate the crusade forces.Anyhow, do people think the trick we pulled with the thunder beast herds can be replicated if they end up in Elysium?
What? No they aren't, they are pretty damn tough (well, as far as escorts go, they will never be particularly durable, if you really want a tough ship you should build capitals).
