So, here's my take on things. Limiting it to Signe and Gros as they're the nes with significant numbers of votes at this point.

Signe has the best admin stat, so will provide the highest level of straight production. Her background in the Treasury will probably influence her to focus more on economic growth than the other candidates, and maybe some further improvements to the internal efficiency of the administration. Downsides I see are low education (making her a poor choice for trying to up our education bonus and otherwise revamp our education system) and meh combat, which is somewhat alleviated by survival traits.

Gros, on the other hand, doesn't have a hugely impressive admin stat, but his focus on health is really fucking good. A boost to our population growth rate does very good things to our total economic and military might, and improving our anti-plague measures and the like I view as being of intrinsically high moral value above and beyond the mechanical bonuses they provide. Furthermore, his learning stat is high enough that it isn't a weakness for an educational initiative, which we will probably want to pursue at some point soon just to improve overall resource generation. As far as downsides to, he isn't quite at the magic number of 35 combat, but at 33 he's pretty close.

Is it +1 percent point or +1 percent? Looks like the former, and it's a big deal then.
Isaac Gros, personally responsible for every fifth young Avernite born.

Avernite women, I think, have 6~8 children over their lifetimes, half of which die. Figuring out the numbers is hard without death rates and so.

The increase combat efficiency and survival rates has already been noticed, with deaths being significantly less common when combating the wildlife. General Richards tells you that this increased survivability, and in particular the ability to survive incapacitating wounds more often should increase the life expectancy of your Helguard in combat by a large amount, allowing you to get more veterans.
@Durin, considering just how good the Helguard bionics are at protecting from wildlife even though they're on the front lines of combat, will they make a significant difference insofar as decreasing the chance that our advisors die from the wildlife?

Voting for this guy not just for the pop growth but because they might be an in with the protectorate, who also have a doctor as a chief advisor.

The general consensus is not to attack before the fleet gets here and to wait to see what the feet is before making any decisions.
Yes, yes that is the general consensus. Sounds like I haven't overlooked anything critical.

More tax cattle and cannon fodder. Let's hope we won't have to invest too many actions in thrones production in the meantime.

[X] Head of the Treasury Department Signe Seidel

Edit: changed vote to Seidel, in light of the reduction in basic resource expenditure.

So Seidel has double survival traits and the highest admin in the Trust. I am honestly confuased why she doesn't have more votes.

Like in 30 years time we'll have 50% more people in the Isaac World as compared to the Sieder world. (Assuming a popgrowth of 1.3% per year.)
1% Population Growth increase is huge. Unless I'm reading this incorrectly, it shaves off 25 years of our population doubling time, from 55 to ~30 years.
Requesting the math. [edit] Please.

The Master Medical Administrator is exponential. According to someone's math, with him the population will be half again as large in 30 years compared to Seidel.
Requesting the math.

Given a population growth rate of 1.3% per year, we'd have 2.3% growth with Edwin's bonus.

Over 30 years:

1.3% = 1.473 (1.013^30)
2.3% = 1.978 (1.023^30)
1.978-1.473 = 0.505

50.5% extra population. In 30 years we have an extra 11.5 Billion Avernites, 50% over our current pop.

EDIT: Well, 34.2% extra Avernites compared to Siedel. Mistake on my part.
EDITEDIT: Unless Adminstration plays a role in population growth, which might be a possibility.

There is the point that we cant afford expanding our army to match that altough replacing losses would be easier even with that much population and thats it.

Resource production really isnt locked behind population issues on the scale were working on . well mehancius pop is a requirement of sorts but thats it.

We cant afford to go like 1 mil credit each turn into debt every trade when they basicly dont need anything from us to pay them back aswell.

doing a metal trade for thrones with midgard seems like a idea to pursue guys for now as a diplo action.

We have a lot of bonuses on population growth. We have as well a lot of maluses on it. The last few percentage bonuses had only small effects because up to 90% of the 1 to 2% bonus was eaten by the wildlife.
