Kinda plain to just call them Formic Titans, but I guess it's a decent fallback if the other names fail.

Myrmidons are already a thing. The Adeptus Mechanicus would call copyright.

I've come up with a suitable working name that may work as a proper name: Magnatrox. I have problems with it so I'm definitely not committed to it, though.

Imperium's over a thousand years dead and gone mate :p.

More than enough time for the already not especially homogenous imperium to come up with divergent naming habits.

Though yeah Titants is probably not the best of names. (note this is mostly intended for comedy)
 
It now occurs to me that we may have inadvertently damaged the non-local Necron allies of the local Atum dynasty/anyone they told to watch out.

The Necrons that were paying attention were always going to notice everyone around them that could precog fortifying stuff, and probably figure out that it was Orkz either with spec ops or their own timy-wimy resources.
Them being told that it's more dangerous warp bullshit rather than the Krork means they might under-react, and the Eldar might keep them from finding the Krork for quite a while still.

I'm thinking about having a vote as to the name of the titans. Current contenders are set to be Formic Titans, Magnatroxes, and Titants. Further submissions will of course be appreciated. Thank you all for your help so far.
 
Right, let's see if this works. This is a vote for the name of ant people biotitans. If you think they should be called Formic Titans, vote by liking this post. Hugs this post if you think they should be called Magnatroxes. Informative this post if you think they should be called Titants.
