The INDEX Initiative: Not!XCOM Planquest

So to go on to another topic.

How will we transport the remains of an alien craft we shot down to one of our bases for research?

We could possibly use the Rapid Global Transport, though since it's commissioned by our spec ops branch it may not have enough capacity to carry anything beyond a 12 person strike team and maybe an armed drone tank.
I think there's a non-zero chance that Enimga Site will end up being its own research base. We had a High Priority on the base in the Falklands because that'd be the next-closest site for Support and Supply.

Given that it's on Antartica it's also more secure from human interference and if the alien take offence then there won't be much collateral damage.

Sweet, we got lots of stuff done.

Looks like 1D on the Interceptors, and 2D on the Global Transports, and all our Admin dice on Strategic Planning again. Otherwise not sure where to do stuff beyond "set up Alpha and Echo bases," we basically cleared out several sections.

here's an outline of how I'll do my next plan

Infrastructure (3 Dice): +5
[] Alpha Base 2d
[] Echo Base 1d

I picked Alpha base to house INDEX future airforce while echo base will assist with research on the enigma.
Industry (4 Dice): +10
[] Acquiring Factories 2d

I'll put 2 dice on Acquiring Factories to make sure that we are self-sufficient and reaming two dice will go to whatever pops up in the next post
Services (4 Dice): +5

I don't know what to put the dice in since we already finished both of the current Services projects. So I'll take anything that pops up in this section.
Research (4 Dice): +12

I think we need to put all of our current Research into the enigma to hopefully get a discount on the experimental techs.
Military (6 Dice): +0

[] Rapid Global Transport Development 2d
[] Anti-UFO Interceptor Development 1d
[] Combat Helicopter Development 2d
[] Light Carrier Development 1d

we need to finish the development for both global transport and Anti-UFO Interceptor to ensure we have a proper airforce, then I think we should get the Combat Helicopter for CAS along with starting work on the light Light Carrier to increase the range of our airforce
Administration (3 Dice): +0

[] Strategic Planning 3d

It's gonna finish sooner or later.

Q2 2015 Results

Q2 2015 Results

Alien activity massively ramps up this month. The first is an A-Class UFO appearing on the edge of the Norwegian Sea and then makes its way to Scotland. It is swiftly shot down by interceptors launched from Delta Base as it goes overland. Another A-Class UFO is shot down along the coastline of Malaysia using interceptors based in a local base while a third is engaged in the South Atlantic Ocean by interceptors from a newly finished Bravo Base and sent to a watery grave.

Unfortunately, the fourth alien activity is neither so limited nor so successful for INDEX. As the month of June began, several UFOs came down from orbit on a direct course for the Chinese city of Wuhan. While almost all of the UFOs were the usual A-Class UFO, the apparent leader of the bunch was different. Maintaining the same shape and apparently design, the tentatively labelled C-Class UFO was between three and four times larger than the A-Class.

The alien armada descended on Wuhan from the skies, engaging in discriminate terror attacks as they open fire on civilians and deployed soldiers to the ground. The Chinese government swiftly reacted to the incursion, mobilising what military assets they had available to engage the alien invaders. While they weren't entirely unsuccessful, the aliens decisively won the fighting at Wuhan and the Wuhan Massacre was uncontestedly a massacre.

Almost ten thousand civilians were killed before the aliens withdrew to orbit and several units of the Chinese military were wiped out or crippled in exchange for two A-Class UFOs being shot down and seven alien soldiers being killed. INDEX attempted a response, but due to a lack of a base in the region or specialised interceptors or a way to rapidly deploy troops, INDEX forces only arrived as the aliens were retreating and were unable to engage the attackers beyond a few long-ranged shots.

Yet the Wuhan Massacre was not the last alien activity of the quarter as at the end of June, a handful of A-Class UFOs launched an attack on Enigma Site. Between the local defences and timely reinforcements from Bravo Base, the aliens were repealed if just barely. Despite the heavy casualties suffered by INDEX in the defence of Enigma Site, the attack on the crashed UFO ultimately proved to be beneficial to INDEX. The successful defence combined with other successes against the aliens has convinced several members of the INDEX Council to provide INDEX with increased funding.

[-] Bravo Base (Phase 1)
Located in the Falkland Islands, Bravo Base will be the centre of INDEX operations in South America. Bravo Base will start off as the British government transferring their military facilities in the Falklands to INDEX so the international organisation can use them to fight alien menace.
(151/100, 10 Resources per Die) (51/150) (+3 Basing) (High Priority)

The construction of Bravo Base goes ahead without any difficulties. Unlike Delta Base where the INDEX base was built from scratch into the side of a mountain, Bravo Base is built around the pre-existing military facilities and resembles a conventional military base far more.

Right now, it only has the basics of an airfield and barracks inland with a road connecting it to a small dock further out. That said, there is plenty of room for expansion though it is not unlimited as one will need to consider the size of the islands and the daily lives of the local population.

[-] Enigma Site (Phase 1)
While INDEX has laid claim to the crashed UFO in the Antarctic, it still needs to make use of it. With the lack of local facilities, INDEX will need to build some of its own and given the potential treasure trove of the ship, Director Ambrosius wants his organisation to get started on it sooner rather than later.
(102/100, 20 Resources per Die) (2/200) (+1 PS) (High Priority)

Enigma Site is an interesting location as it is out in the middle of nowhere, an inhospitable place and one that is a struggle to reach. If it wasn't for the crashed UFO, INDEX would have zero reason to be in the region at all. But as things are, the UFO did crash there and INDEX needs to move into the region to claim the prize before it is too late.

Enigma Site is split between research and defence, the former to claim the potential treasure trove for humanity and the latter to ensure that the aliens do not disrupt the efforts of the former. Sturdy fortifications are set up along a landing pad for helicopters and VTOL aircraft and barracks for the garrison.

The work is barely finished this quarter, but the haste proves to be a good thing as amongst their other actions this turn, the aliens launch an attack on Enigma Site, presumably to reclaim the crashed UFO before humanity can make use of its bounty.

While a handful of UFOs land nearby and disgorge a small party of alien soldiers, the defences of Enigma Base hold. INDEX soldiers engage fire with the almost stereotypical grey aliens until reinforcements arrive from Bravo Base, turning the tide of battle in favour of the human defenders. Whilst the garrison took heavy losses, they were successful in repulsing the alien assault and no noticeable damage was sustained by the crashed UFO.

Industry (4 Dice): +10

[-] Top Off Stocks
While the Council has made sure to ensure that INDEX starts off with plenty of supplies, there is still some room for improvement. INDEX could reach out in a few minor ways to top off their current stockpiles without making any major undertakings to do so.
(123/100, 5 Resources per Die) (+1 Gear, +Fuel, +1 Medical, +1 Supplies)

INDEX is successful in haggling for the extra supplies, successfully topping off its initial stockpiles with a variety of extra supplies across the board.

[-] Establish Supplier Contracts
While INDEX is being sufficiently supplied by the members of the Council for now, that will almost certainly change in the future as things heat up. Reaching out to various suppliers across the globe to arrange mutually beneficial contracts will help improve the logistical situation of INDEX.
(205/150, 10 Resources per Die) (+4 Logistics)

While INDEX currently has no new contracts to sign, it has successfully made some preliminary agreements with various suppliers and set itself up for acquiring new supplies and equipment without having to use the Council as middlemen.

Services (4 Dice): +5

[-] Establish PR Office
Public relations might not be the high priority right now, but if things begin to get worse, it will be better to have a handle on public opinion. By establishing a PR office, INDEX will be able to prove its public image and keep the general populace calm and confident in the threat of the alien threat.
(130/100, 10 Resources per Die) (+2 PS)

While it might not seem to be the most important of things for an organisation like INDEX, maintaining public support and a good public image is important for the organisation that is both new and international in nature.

Some funding is set aside for the PR Office and some new individuals are hired to help run it. It comes online just in time for the Wuhan Massacre and the various alien attacks across the globe. While it was impossible to make INDEX look completely good in light of all the deaths, the PR Office quickly seized the narrative by pointing out that while INDEX might have failed to stop the aliens at Wuhan, none else had and INDEX had seen greater success against the alien invasion than anyone else, having shot down multiple UFOs.

[-] Medical Outreach
While INDEX currently has plenty of medical support for its personnel, that may change in the future, especially if combat operations increase in intensity or number. Reaching out to various medical institutes in Council countries and forming agreements will help provide a buffer.
(128/120, 10 Resources per Die) (+3 Medical)

Expecting to suffer casualties over the course of the alien invasion, INDEX has reached out to a variety of medical institutes across the various Council countries. For a mixture of desiring prestige, greed and altruistism, INDEX has been able to sign a multiple of agreements, effectively doubling or tripling its previous medical capabilities depending on how you look at things.

And it doesn't come a moment sooner as INDEX is forced to deal with multiple injured personnel coming from Wuhan and Enigma Site.

Research (4 Dice): +12

[-] Analyse Alien Encounters
While there have only been a relatively small amount of alien encounters, there have been enough for INDEX's researchers to do a proper study of them. Have them comb over the available data to get a better understanding of the alien threat.
(191/100, 20 Resources per Die) (+1 PS)

Until the Wuhan Massacre, there had only been one type of alien attack. A single UFO showing up unexpectedly and performing some kind of unprovoked attack before withdrawing just as unexpectedly. While no consistency between targets has been identified, the pattern of alien activity has proven to be identifiable.

Primarily that they have been attacking in locations where a swift interception is unlikely, undertaking a minor mission and then withdrawing before the local forces can stop them. They have primarily gone after minor attacks, causing limited destruction and loss of life before leaving the scene.

Their intentions for humanity are unknown, but they apparently desire something with the natives of Earth as indicated by not leaving any corpses behind. While there are exceptions to this at Mecca and Wuhan, the aliens have made a point of taking either the surviving humans or their corpses with them in their attacks. What fate has befallen these unfortunate individuals is unknown, but given the murderous inclinations of the aliens so far, it is unlikely to be good for them.

This pattern has been consistent, but not universal for the aliens. Both Mecca and Wuhan have diverged from this pattern while the crashed UFO is another potential divergence depending on whether or not it was intentional.

Unfortunately, the limited amount of data restricts how accurate the analysis can be, especially since the aliens are beginning to take unprecedented actions.

[-] Study A-Class UFOs
Called the A-Class due to a lack of a better term, A-Class UFOs are the first alien spacecraft to be publicly spotted in Earth's atmosphere. Have INDEX's researchers look into the currently available reports on these UFOs to try and figure out their purpose and capabilities.
(124/100, 20 Resources per Die) (+1 PS)

The first UFO-type to be spotted and, for several months, the only type to be spotted, the A-Class UFO is still the most common alien craft with the sole exceptions being the one that crashed in the Antarctic and the one that led the attack on Wuhan.

The A-class UFO is relatively small as a flying disc that is about two metres tall and has a radius of ten metres. Crew size is unknown, but it appears to be small and unlikely to exceed the single-digits. Flight and defensive capabilities are unknown, but the former exceeds anything native to Earth while the latter seems to be based around some manner of energy shield. The armament consists of an unknown energy weapon, of which at least one is mounted with the possibility of there being more.

That said, the A-Class UFO has its weakness and INDEX has shot one down shortly after its formation and has recently taken down another three over the last couple of months alongside two being downed at Wuhan. Unfortunately, only half of those have proven salvageable and those that have suffered extensive damage in the process of being shot down.

The exact number of A-Class UFOs remains unknown, but given how extensively it has been used, including in multiple numbers during the attacks on Wuhan and Enigma Site, it appears to be a mainstay of the alien invaders.

Military (6 Dice): +0

[-] Security Division
While INDEX has plenty of soldiers at its disposal, it lacks a dedicated security division. Organising a section of in-house security guards will help provide greater security than just using soldiers as the specialists will be trained for the job rather than being forced into due to a lack of better options.
(264/200, 15 Resources per Die) (-3 Manpower)

INDEX has finished the paperwork for its new Security Division, formally putting it on the books and allowing for more dedicated security projects to be undertaken.

[-] National Liaisons
INDEX may have access to the territory of the Council to fight back against this brewing alien invasion, but that isn't the same as coordinating and cooperating with the local military forces. Reach out to the various national militaries that INDEX will be interacting with to set up efficient lines of communications.
(140/100, 10 Resources per Die) (+1 PS)

INDEX is able to finish sorting out various liaison agreements with the national militaries of the Council countries. While it didn't come in time to make a difference for the Wuhan Massacre, the event has shown both sides the drawbacks of not coordinating and encouraging fostering a better working relationship.

Aerial Division
[-] Anti-UFO Interceptor Development
While modern aircraft seem up to the job of shooting down UFOs, none of them are purpose built for the job. INDEX's Aerial Division wants to design an aircraft for the specific purpose of shooting down alien aircraft.
(143/150, 25 Resources per Die) (+1 PS)

Designing a new anti-UFO interceptor has proven to be a challenging task, but far from an insurmountable one. The designers quickly focused on what would be needed for this specialised task, prioritising what would be needed to engage the common A-Class UFO. The two primary factors were determined to be speed and firepower, the former to reach the UFO before it escapes and the latter to bring it down quickly before it can escape or bring its own armaments to bear.

Knowing what the new design will need, the developers have gotten to work and while extensive progress has been made, they will need a bit more time and funding before they have a finished design for INDEX to use.

SpecOps Division
[-] Rapid Global Transport Development
The biggest limitation of INDEX's rapid response teams is their lack of speed global transport, requiring a team to be relatively local to react in time to any alien activity. The SpecOps Division wishes to change this by designing a transport to get their rapid response teams around the planet in a timely manner.
(49/120, 20 Resources per Die)

The attack on Wuhan has shown that INDEX needs a way of rapidly getting to a combat zone and the Rapid Global Transport development project has been given increased priority. Unfortunately increased priority doesn't equal success as limited progress has been made on the project due to the extreme difficulty of fulfilling the requirements.

For starters, it has swiftly become apparent that full global coverage is too much of a stretch with current technology, not without compromising other requirements at least. While the designer teams are still far from having a working design, they have identified some basic facts such as the fact that the transport will need to be very specialised. It will need to eschew all combat capability in favour of transporting one or two rapid response teams in a timely manner.

The designers are investigating a few possibilities, but additional time and funding will be required before any headway is made.

Administration (3 Dice): +0

[-] Strategic Planning
While the bureaucracy is currently functional, there are ways in which it can be improved or streamlined for great efficiency. Implementing those efforts will have a noticeable if slight impact on the work of INDEX and will help with long term planning.
(70/200, 5 Resources per Die) (+1 to All Dice)

Despite a substantial amount of attention being given to the formation of a strategic planning apparatus, only a subpar amount of progress is achieved this quarter. This is primarily due to other events distracted from the project as the spate of alien activity has forced personnel and funding to be diverted from this seemingly unimportant project.

I guess I should say some stuff here, but RL took a lot out of writing this update so I'm not sure what to say here. Aliens ramped up their activity, you got some close calls and while you didn't come out of it smelling like roses, you certainly came out of it looking like the best option against the alien invasion.

Please point out any spelling or grammar mistakes that you spot. Please quote them in the thread and explain what you think is wrong so I know what you are referring to. Feel free to ask questions for more details and information.

Yeah Alpha, Foxtrot and interceptors and RGT development + rollout is definitely a priority

Maybe its worth going one or two turn going all in on either projects

Thankfully it was on the list of things to do next turn

Yes Energy shielding is available, it is going to be a gamechanger once we get ahold of one and roll it out after doing the necessary modifications to it

Why is the RGT said to be necessarily unarmed?
I can see the case for making it only able to carry troops OR missiles, but supersonic bombers tend to make good missile trucks as far as I know.

Because they are choosing to focus on its primary purpose. In theory the passenger bay could be refitted to carry missiles or bombs instead of soldiers, but they are choosing to not do that as right now, you need a troop transport and not a bomber.

"Thank you for coming, Miss Tarig," says Director Ambrosius as you take a seat in his office, "I know this could be done over electronics, but we work in the same base and I like to handle things face to face if I can."

"Of course, Director," you reply dutifully, "Any particular you wish to discuss with me?"

"Just our current priorities," says the Director, "The Wuhan Massacre has people frightened and rightfully so. Getting our new Anti-UFO Interceptors and the Rapid Global Transports are our top priorities right now to keep our backers happy and so we can respond properly to future incidents like the Wuhan Massacre. Oh, and China wants Echo Base finished sooner rather than later. They will consider it to be a great favour if we could prioritise it, but strictly speaking, it isn't a true priority."

"But we want the additional funding and support so it is a priority," you conclude.

"Correct," confirms Director Ambrosius.

Infrastructure (3 Dice): +5

[] Alpha Base (Phase 1)
Located in the middle of Kansas in the United States, Alpha Base will be the centre of INDEX operations in North America. Alpha Base is planned to have substantial airpower and air-based logistical facilities to make up for a lack of sea access.
(0/100, 10 Resources per Die) (+3 Basing)

[] Bravo Base (Phase 2)
Located in the Falkland Islands, Bravo Base will be the centre of INDEX operations in South America. Bravo Base will start off as the British government transferring their military facilities in the Falklands to INDEX so the international organisation can use them to fight alien menace.
(51/150, 10 Resources per Die) (+3 Basing)

[] Charlie Base (Phase 1)
Located in Egypt along the Suez Canal, Charlie Base will be the centre of INDEX operations in Africa and the Middle East. Charlie Base will both provide a naval centre for INDEX and help secure the important trade route against the alien menace and more terrestrial hostiles.
(0/100, 10 Resources per Die) (+3 Basing)

[] Delta Base (Phase 2)
Located in the Scottish Highlands, Delta Base will be the centre of INDEX operations in Europe. Located in his home country, the Director has indicated that he intends for Delta Base to be the unofficial primary HQ for INDEX.
(17/150, 10 Resources per Die) (+4 Basing) (+1 PS)

[] Echo Base (Phase 1)
Located in Hong Kong, Echo Base will be the centre of INDEX operations in Asia. While heavily urban civilian areas around it will limit military potential, Echo Base is intended to be a major R&D location for INDEX.
(16/100, 10 Resources per Die) (+3 Basing) (+1 PS) (Increased Support from China)

[] Foxtrot Base (Phase 1)
Located in the Australian Outback, Foxtrot Base will be the centre of INDEX operations in Oceania. Relatively isolated, Foxtrot Base is intended to be a training site and unofficial HQ of the rapid response teams.
(0/100, 10 Resources per Die) (+3 Basing)

[] Enigma Site (Phase 2)
While INDEX has laid claim to the crashed UFO in the Antarctic, it still needs to make use of it. With the lack of local facilities, INDEX will need to build some of its own and given the potential treasure trove of the ship, Director Ambrosius wants his organisation to get started on it sooner rather than later.
(2/200, 20 Resources per Die) (+1 PS) (High Priority)

Industry (4 Dice): +10

[] Acquiring Factories
Just as some businesses thrive, others fail or are forced to cut back. Snatch up some surplus or unwanted factories to repurpose to the needs of INDEX. While they won't be as secure as one of INDEX's bases, they will be more secure than relying upon external contractors.
(0/100, 10 Resources per Die) (+2 Basing)

Services (4 Dice): +5

[] PR Campaigns
While INDEX currently has plenty of medical support for its personnel, that may change in the future, especially if combat operations increase in intensity or number. Reaching out to various medical institutes in Council countries and forming agreements will help provide a buffer.
-[] North America (0/150, 10 Resources per Die) (+1 PS, Potential Increased Council Support)
-[] South America (0/150, 10 Resources per Die) (+1 PS, Potential Increased Council Support)
-[] Europe (0/150, 10 Resources per Die) (+1 PS, Potential Increased Council Support)

Research (4 Dice): +12

[] Study C-Class UFO
First spotted leading the alien amanda that was responsible for the Wuhan Massacre, the C-Class UFO appears to be a scaled up version of the A-Class UFO. Have INDEX's researchers look into the currently available reports on these UFOs to try and figure out their purpose and capabilities.
(0/100, 20 Resources per Die) (+1 PS)

Human Technology
[] Functional Laser Weaponry
Between power and ranged concerns, functional laser weaponry is something of a pipe dream at the moment. While INDEX can investigate the possibility and fund development, your researchers warn you that it will be years before you see any return.
(11/1,800, 40 Resources per Die)

[] Functional Railgun Weaponry
Between material and power concerns, functional railguns are a fantasy for the time being. While INDEX can investigate the possibility and fund development, your researchers warn you that it will be years before you see any return.
(11/1,800, 40 Resources per Die)

[] Functional Exoskeletons
For a variety of reasons, functional exoskeletons remain in the lab and the dream of having one fit for field use belongs in the realm of science-fiction for the foreseeable future. While INDEX can investigate the possibility and fund development, your researchers warn you that it will be years before you see any return.
(11/2,000, 40 Resources per Die)

Alien Technology
[] Alien Materials
While some of the materials used are recognisable, many of alloys and other materials used by the aliens are unknown to modern science. Investigating just what these exterrsiatal materials are and what they can do could reveal insights into how to counter them or make use of them ourselves.
(0/400, 40 Resources per Die) (-1 Salvage)

[] Alien Weapons
While the self-destruction of the alien weaponry upon the death of the user means INDEX cannot study an intact copy, INDEX does have a good number of weapon fragments in its possession. Studying these fragments could yield insights into how the alien weaponry functions.
(0/400, 40 Resources per Die) (-1 Salvage)

[] Alien Power Core
Between the crashed UFO and those shot down by our interceptors, INDEX has access to several alien power sources that are used to power their UFOs. Operating using unknown materials and methods, studying them would help humanity understand how the aliens power their technology.
(0/500, 40 Resources per Die) (-3 Salvage)

[] Alien Computers
The alien computers aboard the crashed UFO at Enigma Site are completely intact. While INDEX doesn't currently know how to access or operate them, it can study them to learn such knowledge and possibly figure out ways to upgrade their own computers.
(0/500, 40 Resources per Die) (-3 Salvage)

[] Alien Engines
Between the crashed UFO and those shot down by our interceptors, INDEX has acquired multiple alien engines. Studying them could reveal how the aliens are able to fly their UFOs in both vacuum and atmospheric conditions in addition to gaining insights into how to improve INDEX's own engines.
(0/500, 40 Resources per Die) (-3 Salvage)

[] Alien Autopsy
Over the last quarter, INDEX has acquired several partially-intact alien corpses. Studying these remains and performing autopsy could increase our understanding of how the aliens function and identify some possible weaknesses to exploit.
(0/300, 40 Resources per Die) (-1 Salvage)

Military (6 Dice): +0

Ground Division
[] New-Gen MBT Development
While they have been supplied with plenty of tanks by the Council members, INDEX's Ground Division desires a new Main Battle Tank with the latest technology to combat the alien menace, especially should the aliens begin to bring combat vehicles of their own.
(0/200, 30 Resources per Die)

[] New-Gen IFV Development
To transport into battle and support them in said battle, INDEX's Ground Division desires a new Infantry Fighting Vehicle to carry a small number of troops and then provide heavy fire support to them as they fight the alien menace.
(0/120, 20 Resources per Die)

[] New-Gen APC Development
INDEX's Ground Division wants a new Armoured Personnel Carrier to transport its infantry about in a timely manner. While they have been provided with plenty by the Council, the Ground Division desires one more specifically designed for their purposes.
(0/100, 20 Resources per Die)

Naval Division
[] Frigate Development
The Naval Division of INDEX desires a new frigate to act as a swift patrol ship to be able to rapidly react to alien threats at sea and provide fire support to ground forces in coastal regions.
(0/100, 20 Resources per Die)

[] Destroyer Development
A step up from a mere patrol ship, INDEX's Naval Division desires a new destroyer to act as a direct combat vessel against alien threats. Balancing speed with firepower, this new design will be able to engage alien threats in the sea, coastal regions and the sky.
(0/150, 25 Resources per Die)

[] Light Carrier Development
Rather than go for a few large fleet carriers, INDEX's Naval Division would prefer several smaller light carriers. While they won't be able to support as many aircraft, the greater spread of warships will allow them to cover a larger area and react faster to alien threats.
(0/200, 30 Resources per Die) (High Priority)

Aerial Division
[] Anti-UFO Interceptor Development
While modern aircraft seem up to the job of shooting down UFOs, none of them are purpose built for the job. INDEX's Aerial Division wants to design an aircraft for the specific purpose of shooting down alien aircraft.
(143/150, 25 Resources per Die) (+1 PS) (High Priority)

[] Combat Helicopter Development
To provide more efficient and prolonged air support to the ground forces, INDEX's Aerial Division wants a new combat helicopter. This new vehicle will be able to provide fire support and heavy firepower for prolonged periods to INDEX's ground forces.
(0/100, 15 Resources per Die)

SpecOps Division
[] Rapid Global Transport Development
The biggest limitation of INDEX's rapid response teams is their lack of speed global transport, requiring a team to be relatively local to react in time to any alien activity. The SpecOps Division wishes to change this by designing a transport to get their rapid response teams around the planet in a timely manner.
(49/120, 20 Resources per Die) (+1 PS) (High Priority)

Security Division
Currently none available.

Administration (3 Dice): +0

[] Strategic Planning
While the bureaucracy is currently functional, there are ways in which it can be improved or streamlined for great efficiency. Implementing those efforts will have a noticeable if slight impact on the work of INDEX and will help with long term planning.
(70/200, 5 Resources per Die) (+1 to All Dice)

[] Security Review (Select Department)
Whether it be from a terrestrial or exterrestrial source, INDEX can expect external organisations to try and infiltrate it. Review one of its departments to see if INDEX can sniff out any spies or corruption within its ranks.

A few new options this turn and pretty much all of them are research projects. Beyond that, you got more support and funding a few existing projects now give PS due to their perceived importance in the eyes of the Council.

Also there are a fair few projects that haven't been unlocked yet as you have yet to complete their requisite projects.

Please point out any spelling or grammar mistakes that you spot. Please quote them in the thread and explain what you think is wrong so I know what you are referring to. Feel free to ask questions for more details and information.
