@F0lkL0re May I suggest that you swap the Infrastructure Dice from Charlie Base to Delta Base, so we stand a good chance of getting a full Phaseof completion on Delta Base? This will give us a +1 on all dice, an additional +1 on Administration dice which includes Security Reviews, and an additional Administration dice so that we have more dice to spend on Security Reviews.

Speaking of which, why only 1 dice on each Security Review? Spreading the Admin dice too thinly on Security Reviews was what got us into this political mess - best to spend them all on a Security Review for the Security Division to make sure we *really* clean house before going back to checking the other branches. That's why I want to get the extra Administration dice from Delta Base - with it we can do 2 Security Reviews per turn using 2 dice each to minimise the chance of further fuckups.
 
I find it better to use a die on the detectors due to the extra progress going to the next phase rather then have to start the next phase of roll outs from 0.

WoG, Security got checked when we did the Military review.

Stage 4 of Delta Base gives +2 not +1.
+2 to Administration Dice, +2 to all Dice,
 
I'd really prefer we put the free die on Alien Power Core so we can actually finish the research there. Getting advanced power supplies is going to be critically important for, uh, everything. But especially power-hungry systems like, for example, the laser weaponry the council wants us to get so much.

I'm tempted to throw it all at the lasers to finish the tech ASAP, then hand it to them with a note saying "Here's the toy you wanted. Shame that we don't have the technology to power it. If only someone had had the foresight to research advanced power supplies, huh?"

In this vein we should make sure we keep all the records and paperwork about the issue with the security review into the Research Division, just so that when the inevitable security breaches and infiltration blow up in our face we've got evidence to throw it back on the Council - malicious compliance is so much fun :)

Part of finishing the laser weapons is coming up with the technology to power it.
 
Nice okay @Voidseer @wrecksalot @Beastly @Starwarlord @spartaner055 and @Amilia I'm thinking of dropping a security check die to use Finishing Touches on the detectors does that sound good to you?

Also do you guys think I should consolidate the other two security checks into a single security action or keep them as two separate checks?
First part it is good with me. 👍 For the second part I don't know one way or the other. 🤷‍♂️

Whelp we got alien sabotage incoming or people being dumbasses.

That security review for the admin worries me for being purple…guess they were compromised.
 
So why did we choose to improve Charlie Base rather than Delta Base, which would have improved our Security even more?
