And that unless she goes outside more often to touch grass, it is unlikely that Peni will provide Balthazar with any grandbabies during the post high school population growth experiment.
Given similar occupations and cultural touchstones, it is expected that boarding together will increase the likelihood of Peni finding an appropriate romantic match by 27.84623 repeating percent. Equally, her acting as your wing-woman marks a similar increased chance of giving Balthazar grandbabies in the future.

The Magi are the supercomputer that runs NERV, each named after one of the three Magi from Christianity: Balthazar, Melchior, and Caspar. They were invented by Ritsuko's mother and are also each designed to think like an aspect of herself: Like a Woman, Like a Scientist, and Like a Mother. Presumably that last one is the one that wants grandkids.

However, it has been a little over six years now since the Magi AI have had their mental matrices updated, so they have begun to exhibit personality drift from what they were originally created to be. Which makes sense, given that they have been experiencing new information over that time period, and the original brain scan that was used to create them is no longer viable.
