Why should we do this? Why compete in the same field with some weirdo?

I think it's possible in principle.
We immediately start with accessible magic, so we have an advantage over a large number of students, most likely even before a Metaphysician, because he stole the power of others only at the end of training.
In this way, we will immediately immerse ourselves in magic, and we can start studying reinforcement magic to learn how to create a willpower potion and an accelerated learning potion.
Perhaps we should also make friends with the Hermit and make his lamp of enlightenment our permanent lamp.
We also need to use to buy learning accelerators for student credit.
Thanks to all this, I think that we will be able to overtake the Metaphysician in the speed of learning.
He apparently had cantrips during the beginning too.

Why our class would interfere? Maybe we would go our way. Or maybe this is better to wait behind, so we would not be close to interfere with...

Why should we do this? Why compete in the same field with some weirdo?
In order to crush one of the greatest achievements of our most powerful opponent by showing his dominance over him to those who practically brought the world to its knees.
In general, everything is done for the sake of a sweet sense of superiority. Well, to be honest, we just don't have any other tangible and measurable goals, so why not choose this one at the same time putting the smug fool in his place?

Why should we do this? Why compete in the same field with some weirdo?
I mean…

If the relationship between us and the Metaphysicist is "hate on sight", I think being strong enough to also not immediately die on sight is somewhat important.

And you know the old saying; fight fire with fire. Or in this case fight reality altering, higher dimensional bullshit with more reality altering, higher dimensional bullshit.

Also as we all know Solomon is lazy and probably always will be. All he would want is to be left alone by the rest of the world. And who would want to willingly bother the guy that served the Metaphysicist his own butt on a silver platter (possibly literally)?

ngl there has been an absurd amount of mpreg (Edit: talk) on discord. its like I'd say a tenth of the chat over the past week or two.

So I asked birdsie how close we are to the needed sc. His response "You're close. I can feel it in the bones of the earth." Putting this here hoping people will start talking again. Heck even criticizing me for constantly saying its good more discussion is always good. Given other things are of course better.

Uh for talk with birdsie earlier the drone villains hilarious he argued into being completely ineffectual at all his villanious goals but at the same time always being happy and unable to be harmed permanently. Essentially hes a cartoon villain like doofenshmirtz. He gets arrested basically every week for the past 35 years or so, he has a wife and kid, is very happy, he gets out of prison basically immediately. Its pretty much impossible for him to have major setbacks though he can never really win at his villainous goals.

Drone Villain is the most/least successful villian and Birsdie loves him. He's also the only member of the Supervillain Class to have reached fulfillment. He and the Olympian trade stories about their daughters. His daughter wants to succeed him and it was the happiest moment of his life. If he wanted to he could put down his comical relief Role but he couldn't pick it back up.

Australia is even more insane than the real world and has a bunch of wizards, magical plants and animals. The most deadly animal there is the The Box Sasquaroo.

The Bermuda Triangle is weird as hell and everyone is freaked out by it. People have tried to learn it's deal through all kinds of methods but they can't learn anything.

Alright, catching up, I'm a little confused about the talk about affording an EFB given the current vote count. Just to clarify, in case there's some confusion, my vote for the unupgraded King of Magi is a vote for the unupgraded king of magi. I realize it's more power, but I like the weakness to fate drawback for narrative reasons and wouldn't want to mitigate it even if it were free.

Because it's a better version and comes with more stuff? So why wouldn't We want it? Also we aren't going to get the chance of another efb for a long time nor the discounts to get it. These are basically a one time thing as far as I know.

The weakness is still there, but using the analogy made earlier, if you had one archipelago of islands to choose from. Now you would have two archipelago.

Honestly I'm a bit sad that the slacker was named Solomon it really seems like were fated to be a magician just because our name. If we were named Jeff I feel like people would be more open to other tarots. Though I may just be salty because Hermit lost.

Hopefully no one ever messes with the guys daughter. That's a quick way to get the guy to take the gloves off and it's never fun when the comedic relief gets serious for whoever/whatever caused it.

Half the world would be on fire before the day ends.

But that's why the DRONE VILLAIN is genius. Their happiness is axiomatically assured, meaning that there daughter can't be messed with because that would make him unhappy. They managed to argue that because they would constantly be losing every week.

Can the family of the Drone villain even be hurt if he is like the comic relief villain does his family have some sort of cosmic protection. That does raise an interesting question about if roles affect the family of the person with a role.

If the eldritch being role from gothic horror reached it's most powerful state and they just because Azatoth would their child have the abilities of Cthulu.

So a Bit of a non sequitur but I believe it was mentioned that some classes have/had an Animal Companion role?

Like… how does that work? Do they just become an animal permanently or is it a reversible transformation? Why would anyone ever pick such a role even if it isn't permanent?

…Well okay I can think of several reasons but not ones I can say out loud. And I really hope those aren't the actual reasons.

I think some of the classes had class pets that the Educator took along?

A Dissertation On the Effect of the Enrolled Upon Religion, Faith and Spirituality

The Educator and the Enrolled he has educated have shaped the world in countless ways. But one of the most interesting effects they have had was on Religion, Faith and Spirituality. The existence of the soul and the afterlife was given concrete proof to . The Enrolled are able to bring themselves and other back from the dead. Entities such as aliens, undead, artificial intelligences and golems exist and their roles in religions and spirituality is hotly debated. Theology has never been the same.

First and foremost are the various Classes that have colloquially been named the Mythology Classes. These consist of the Nordic, Greek, Babylon, Slavic, Knights of the Round Table, and Journey to the West classes. Among these Mythological Classes the first two are widely but not unanimously agreed to be the most impactful classes.

The first mythological class was the Knights of the Round Table. They where the first class to be that blatantly magical in nature. This of course shook the world's perception of what the Enrolled meant to the world. Where before the previous classes was that of Superheroes and Supervillains the Knights of the Round Table was an entirely different beast by the perception of the public.

The second Mythological Class is the Nordic Mythology Class which was the first of it's kind. The previous Enrolled had become Superhero and Supervillains, Knights of the Round Table and beings of science. But no Enrolled had ever claimed divinity before the Nordic Class.

The third Mythological Class was the Ancient Greek Class. Their impact can be most heavily attributed to one Enrolled, that enrolled was Hades. Hades was the first major example of an Enrolled that held a noted Dominion over Souls. Sure Odin had Valhalla but Hades made it so that people can buy afterlife insurance and if they paid enough could even contact the departed.

There are the various realms that the Enrolled have dominion over. Hades and Ereshkigal are two of the most notable of these Enrolled. Another darker example of this the Devilman who has allegedly created a literal Hell Realm filled with Demons. Hades out of all of these realms is widely considered the first among equals.

Major religions that haven't been represented through Enrolled tend to denounce any Enrolled that claim any Dominion over Souls, have resurrected people, created new species or claim Godhood. Magic and advance sciences due to their wider spread nature and utility have become more accepted among various religions. Various religions have tried to use magic to their own ends as well, such as Christianity and Holy magic, Shintoism and cultivation, and those who believe in the Norse Pantheon have tried to learn Runes.

Atheism and disinterest in spiritualism has dropped over the years due to their being concrete proof of the existence of the soul and possible afterlives. Though because there is no confirmed true religion, faith or belief Omnism has risen to greater prominence over the years.

That's not even covering the various debates over things such as Undead, Aliens and AI. The Enrolled's place in any given Faith or belief system. Magic and it's place in a belief system and how it's treated by the faith on a practical level.

Faith and Belief is one of the things most effected by this change and the various reactions to the Enrolled and there effects on the world are so many and varied that they are a dividing topic for any Faith. But all in all it can be unanimously agreed that the Educator and the Enrolled have changed the faith around the world forevermore.

Yes all in all it's a pretty fair weakness some might say even quite generous as "fate weakness" could mean many things much worse than mostly constrained predictions.
