[X] Plan God King Ending

[X] Betrayed by Destiny

I still stand by my belief that Betrayed by Destiny deserves to be given another shot here, given that the premise of the quest (and of the CYOA used at its base) is more interesting and unique than the usual fare (if anyone wants a small taste of what that quest may entail, the first version of it is still in my signature for ease of access).

[X] Betrayed by Destiny

Perhaps it is fitting that such a choice begins with my sudden yet inevitable betrayal :V

As much as I love Orm's project and what was born from it, the premise of a Streetwalker Quest does not hold that much interest to me. There will be those who disagree with my opinion, but I feel that the Ormulum truly shines when someone is given time in one of the many settings available: it creates attachment, as characters and mysteries are unraveled, and it ups the stakes because of it and not just out of sheer power creeping.

A Streetwalker doesn't have that. A galactic tour of the Hierarchy is bound to give many bits of lore but no real reason to care about the multiverse if not for the single constant: power. Which could create interesting dilemmas if - and forgive me if I sound too blunt - there were not precedents of voters cutting corners to have their cake and eat it too.

In the end, it would devolve to collecting shinies all over the place until the Quest inevitably finds itself outscaling much, turning into a trivial exercise...or you meet a pissed off roadblock and die.

Sounds like a lot of headache, because I hate dealing with time travel. But on the other hand it is rather unique.

Sure, why not embrace the brainrot!

I will kill for this quest. Like, actually unironically murder someone. Or several someones.

Also yeah, I'd rather see a deep dive into one world rather than streetwalk, and JRPG Traitor desperately needs at least 1 good work about it, the setting is too good to languish in obscurity.

Please, remember that voting with the brackets and X for the new quest will register as a vote for the current God Diversion update!

Hm, for Ormulum, I could do some form of Dominion Quest, or in another location, as well - for those who find the transitory nature of the Street itself unappealing, I am willing to argue for other outcomes.

Pretty novice about my Ormulum lore, but It's been confirmed that we might be able to travel to Dominion potentially, but being a non native we might be locked out of litanies. Honestly, I'd be fine with either. World hopping or the PC as a native in Dominion.
Still holds out hope for a Birdsie isekai <3

on second thought i just mentally modelled what the average ormuquest would look like under current internet conditions and i sincerely think we are better off embracing a worldbuilding encyclopedia disguised as a poorly designed cyoa
