[] Plan Salvation
-[] Kingdom
--[] Arcanization

---[] Play into the thematics of the Abyss with the Dawn of the Tower, ushering in the Twilight as you reinvent the old ways. Unlock the Tower, let the Astral Laboratory become the Temple of the High Priestess with Mona reigning from her throne.
---[] Dedicate the entire kingdom towards the study of Soteriomancy from Abraham. To embody the principles of Freedom, Concord, Solace and Life as they usher themselves into the new age. Call forth the rest of the Arcanists as well as Damien to aid in this endeavor so they may all learn as well.
-[] Address the Apocalypse Now [1 Credit, 100 Will]
--[] If the time is deemed right, awaken Abraham and tell him of the Adversary.
--[] Look into the Arcanists and see who can take on the mantles becoming the Soteriomantic counter to the champions of the Antichrist. Sandra as Death becoming the champion of Life. The Star embracing Solace. Justice takes up Concord. Freedom to go to the Chariot or the Hanged man. Whichever Roles best embody the paths.
--[] Now that you are True Architect and know the nature of the Adversary contact the Metaphysician again. Hold down the tether of the connection to accelerate his return.

---[] Prepare a vessel to house Symon with Mona. In preparation for him to get enrolled in Gothic Horror after summer. Use the Blood of Chris.

--[] Take steps to ensure Symon infiltrates the Gothic Horror class in an effort to counter the Antichrist. Sol judges through his foresight if it would work and decides whether or not to execute it.

Updated with Address the Apocalypse Now as a part of awakening Abraham.

Salvation is legal now.

I like the idea of making our Death, Sandra the Life counter horseman campaign. And others as well. Death Tarot has Life in the thematics to work it. What do you guys think?

Edit: Solace for The Star. Concord for Justice. Freedom for the Chariot or the Hanged man
EditEdit: Removed the Symon plan as advised.

I think we could add additional tactics to Address the Apocalypse Now to make things go the way we want, what do you guys propose we add? It's one of the most important part of the plan, I don't think we should leave anything to chance.

Also I made a whole host of changes after the discussion in discord.

Salvation spends an entire action, 1 credit, and 100 will to do something that my plan handles in a side action. Awakening Abraham is a free action as confirmed by Birdsie. Getting our classmates to learn his magic is as simple as having a single conversation and encouraging them to learn it. Sol is not the one teaching them, Abraham is. Its an egregious waste of action economy on one of the most critical votes in the quest. Not to mention that directing the witches away from our own magic system (likely hamstringing our own enrollment profession), is fitting a round peg into a square hole. They are not nearly as suited for that as they are for sols brand of magic. Especially with all of the xp we put into a skill that lets us teach people.

This is a profoundly bad waste of resources and time. All of these things can be done in a way that does not expend our limited amount of actions. Utilize the witches in the things they are most suited for. Let people learn Abraham's magic using their own actions. Let sol focus on things only he can do.

[X] Plan Apocalypse Prep
-[X] Curiosity
--[X] Focus on unlocking the tower utilizing your newfound architecture sense and the magic of the abyss that surrounds it. Have the witches help.
-[X] Kingdom
--[X] Arcanization
-[X] Awaken Abraham when you have some spare time. He's built to handle this threat, get him active and informed.
-[X] Should Abrahams awakening go smoothly, encourage and discuss with the tarot class about learning his magic system from him. Explain that you know it will be very useful in the times to come. Especially encourage people you think fit well with certain themes.

It's not a waste of resources. We're out of time.

We've repeatedly turned down Abraham's magic… and I don't think even Sol alone can learn all four paths on a single action alone, at the eve of the apocalypse - not without a new cost of its own. We'd have to pay for it either way.

We'd get one of the paths, while there would be three other horsmen unchecked. I thought maybe we can delegate instead and have him focus on his strengths and trust others to pull through.

With the Witches doing the bulk work of transferring over his magics in applicable form there's a good chance the four of Sol's friends could absorb the respective paths - when they have thematic resonance to begin with. So we can be better positioned before the horsemen are online.

Let Sol focus on Architecture and play the Magician like the Magician. The plan guarantees our Horsemen counters.
I'm glad we're included Abraham's magic on Apocalypse Prep though. It's a solid plan.

It's a waste of resources explicitly because these things are best delegated. We're not even really out of time, the horsemen aren't likely to assassinate the educator as soon as they're enrolled. Even if they were, a month or so of learning that magic system isn't enough to combat them. Abraham can't even really combat them alone and he's a master of the magic system.

I explicitly have actions in my plan to both awaken Abraham and get our classmates learning his magic. That is delegating. Your plan is micromanaging.

There is a reason for the micromanaging.

Life as a theme could easily go to the Empress and World.
Solace could be just as suitable for Sun and World again as the Star.
Freedom resonates with the Fool and Tower as well.
Concord has thematics with Judgement and The Lovers.

I really, rather would not put it to chance. Without the push the Thrilled artist might never choose to fully realise her Role and take up mantle of Solace brilliant as she may otherwise be. Sandra as Death might likewise be overshadowed. Damien who is just beginning to shine might lose out in the clamor.

And again, it's not like Sol would get Soteriomancy for free. This was a good opportunity to achieve a lot of things in a fel swoop, at the right time before the pieces for the apocalypse are set.

The 100 Will would also have Sol do the Address the Apocalypse default action along with these things. I'm not sure why everyone is framing this as the sole cost for just for putting Soteriomancy into action in a directed way.

-[X] Also make another attempt to contact the Metaphysician now that you're a True Architect. Presumably you'll be able to hold the connection more easily now, and he might have insights that are shareable now that you've seen the shape of the enemy- combat data about the Horsemen, clarifications on whether evacuation would suffice. Or general-purpose advice, for that matter, which you couldn't get to earlier.
-[X] If Solomon thinks it would work, prod Archetype into getting off their asses and evacuating Columbus by promising to owe them some proportional favor if this turns out to be nothing.
(Personally, I previously thought Archetype would, having been warned... solve the problem?? If they're not doing it, they need to be prodded into doing it, this doesn't depend on whether the problem is the Savior or a Metaphysician experiment gone wrong or what have you.
From their perspective it's a win-win because if there's no problem they've earned a favor they can redeem for future problems(I think Solomon's growth can safely be said to justify an offered favor as valuable.), and from ours this is a win-nothappening because there's a problem)

It's pretty much a long shot at this point. Seeing that the time we have is precious I'm making one final addition to Address the Apocalypse Now:

--[] Now that you are True Architect and know the nature of the Adversary contact the Metaphysician again. Hold down the tether of the connection to accelerate his return.

if only to inform Sol's future actions. Maybe waiting and conserving Will is the right call. Maybe the timers tick.. we'll RAFO.

My assumption on solving the main plot within the next few updates is if we made aggressive measures to handle the horsemen before they are enrolled. Birdsie specified it's only on one very specific path, which I can only assume is rush to ohio and do what we can to prevent enrollment. I avoided making a plan for that because it's both narratively unsatisfying and shortens the quest as a whole. I'd like to interact with the villains as entities rather than preventing them entirely.

And for all that Sol is growing more and more capable as a chessmaster (and gets more willing to do said chessmastery), I don't think him going full Minority Report on Horsemen is something in-character. More likely he would try to sever them from Antichrist through Connections shenanigans.

I get what you mean but old political racist Solomon image made me laugh.

Without further ado, I present you...the Sitra Avra CYOA.
A couple belated builds! I've read the lore document for this setting and will try to compartmentalize that knowledge to avoid spoiling anything. But man, if only you all knew how bad things really are.

In Memoriam

Path Location: Xibalba +3
Magic Unit: Garden of Eyes -1, Daeva (The Endless Chorus) -1, Memento -3
Privileges: In Full Bloom (Memento) -1, Brand of the Mind -2
Functional Errors: Defragmentation +1, A Debt +1, Crawling Chaos +1, Antivirus +2

The past never dies. Men can be murdered, libraries burned, civilizations swept into the dustbin of history, but the bedrock truth beneath endures, no matter how many lies victorious historians try to bury it in. It is a Keeper's duty to uncover it.

In Memoriam chooses Xibalba as a starting location to capitalize on its past. Ocelos' sight is further enhanced by Endless Chorus, which also enables postcognitive archaeology. Brand of the Mind collates the resulting data, its geas spurring me onward. With sufficient clarity, the ghosts of trampled cities will rise from the ashes to serve as living epitaphs. With IFB Memento, to know a thing is to have power over it.

Tusgradh won't know what to make of me, but a combination of Memento's rhetoric and a Chorister's charisma should get a foot in the door no matter how suspicious my existence. There's no reason to be stingy with my research, as long as I maintain a monopoly on Memento itself. The college has a lot to offer in its own right. Despite lacking Caitheam, Alchemy's a topic of interest, especially appropriating eyes and memories.

Sadly, it can't all be academia and adventuring in tombs with this many errors. Defragmentation is obvious; objectivity should be a chronicler's first priority. Perhaps the previous Keepers wouldn't have fallen, had they explored Memento's potential uncompromised by sentiment! Paying off Zohar by stealing the Grail's going to burn some bridges. Ending the Debaser's minions is a mercy. Hopefully by the time I've completely modeled Xibalba, I'll be ready to face the Havoc within Doom himself.

Rogue One is incredibly dangerous. In Memoriam's bet everything on being able to glean information from them, evolving as their tactics do. This is my attempt at a build that can actually handle the truth, assuming I don't die along the way, because that's how it scales. I was tempted to replace Brand of the Mind with TSZ, as both can unearth secrets to empower Memento, but then I considered Zarathustra's reaction to riding shotgun in a Defragmented mind that took Crawling Chaos alongside Antivirus.

Devouring Armament

Path Location: Shivreorat +3
Magic Unit: Image Master -1, Aura -2
Privileges: In Full Bloom (Aura) -1, Avrabane -3
Functional Errors: Maggot Bait +1, Debt +1, Crawling Chaos +2

Behold, vengeance. The last gasp of a bygone utopia, a spear hurled from hell's heart, spurning observation in favor of defiance. The energy of life is repurposed to visit death on monsters unquestionably deserving of it, martial mastery amplified to unthinkable heights by my superweapon steed. Let the ripping and tearing commence. With this build, I will become Avraguy or die trying.

Aura specialization is avoided because it's unclear whether Imbuement would aid in refurbishing my Bonded weapon or be redundant, as it already represents the pinnacle of Arjunyel artifice. Lacking an Enhancement malus lets me take Image Master; a waste not to, if I'm passing up Defragmentation's 'free' Coin. Prana manipulation should synergize with encoding new Images. I'll be ransacking what's left of Avrabane's databanks for instruction manuals and inspiration.

Every error in Sitra Avra is potentially deadly. The Crawling Chaos is no friend to other Avrae, so if I'm lucky there'll be internecine strife allowing me to divide and devour. The Relinquati are inedible but not given to excessive cooperation either. With IFB Aura and a steady supply of Avra to eat, I'll be able to stay ahead of the curve. If the Cullers want a piece of me, they can take a number and get in line.

Still, I'm not suicidal enough to try Key to Beyond. Contending with the Debaser of Meaning in the midst of this hive of scum and villainy while the Relinquati are trying to eat me is bad enough, thanks. Also unenthused at owing Zohar a favor, but when was vengeance ever seized without cost? At least the Devouring Armament has no allies to betray, unless Shivreorat's downtrodden rally to my blood-drenched banner.
