I'm not sure we need the quarry, it gives us stone but we have tons of that just from excavating halls.
1 Die on mining out the hold lets us use 1 die on building with stone, we can save those stone dice for one turn with the dice left over from last turn noted at the top of the start of turn postI'm gonna level with you. I have no idea how stone is tracked, just felt like since armies are moving around and we've almost finished one of each building we'd probably start throwing up more walls(even if they're not strictly a priority)

Nah, goblin town is way to big and too full of tunnels for that. Odds are the smoke wouldn't even reach them. Never mind having enough wood to do that.Can't we block all entrances but one and smoke them out? These suckers still need to breathe.
