Like, generic harem fantasy isekai awful, or 'just' entertainingly bad?

There's also, like, good anime, like Psycho-Pass, which is about a female police officer living in a dystopian cyberpunk state controlled by a supercomputer that mandatorily convicts people it thinks have criminal tendencies and mental 'abnormalities' to mental asylums and gives cops shoot-to-kill guns when the criminal index is sufficiently high, despite the guns having a very effective taser regime. So, you know, surprisingly relevant for the next twenty to fifty years, possibly longer.

Good update! Nice to see Athena's perspective (and some good plural rep), and "the weebening" is wonderful.

I wouldn't call it spiteful, tbh. Clint is making a move that fundamentally could end up making him a major part of her life in a way that is beyond a work/hero thing. If he's gunning for a serious, long term relationship then that makes him potential future family. I'm not saying Liv should deliberately shoot down their relationship, but the circumstances are such here that all cards should be on the table about their actual relationship, including the circumstances in which they met and the events that followed. How Liv chooses to frame that, in Clint's favor or not, is something up to her. Personally I think she's mature enough to make the right decision there.

Honestly she's got every reason to block him here, Clint needs to prove that he's grown past the guy that tries to kill a teenager just because shadowy government agency told him to. I certainly wouldn't let anyone I cared about become serious with someone like that. Not if I could stop it.

ngl this is one where I definitely have to sit back and watch, given there's maybe four things out of all the ones named that I even recognise. And like, three of them are the trolling joke options.

...Ok, look, I won't even try to defend it as a full show, but it has good fight scenes, and even if the writings bad enough that it's more enjoyable to just watch the fights clipped out than the whole show even with the missing context, that's still not "the most wretched anime" out there.

It's the best candidate for worst anime that I didn't have to google "worst anime" to know about.

To be fair to RWBY, the whole point is fight scenes, and everything else is an afterthought. It shows. What it really needs is a remake with a coherent rewrite.
