Terrene Spire - Gently ended.

It could also behave in the way it does because it's in a good position. It can reach us where ever we go with it's scythe, so there's no need to move around.

Has anyone else noticed the vessel's tendency to attack in the first half and not move afterwards? I think that it's operating AI is pretty simple (it is a tutorial fight after all) and it just attacks as much as able, and if we moved out of range i get the feeling it would probably just follow and keep attacking without any strategy.
Don't forget Dexexe said that this was quite a difficult fight at this point of the quest. Overconfidence has us coming out of that coffin and doing it again at a disadvantage.

We'll probably be able to determine whether or not it will be mixing it up next update. I suspect that a good portion of its difficulty may come from stats though, because it did 1 damage out of our 13 hit points even though we blocked/clashed. If it is sufficiently durable than it only takes one or two mistakes for us to lose.

[x] Stab it in the foot.
[x] Jump backwards up the stairs and prepare to block.

Cripple its mobility and gain the higher ground.

Again, it hasn't moved at all so far because it can hit all the way to long range.
It might even levitate when it moves, making that pointless rather than something with little impact on the situation.

We need to focus either on killing it / saving Red, stabbing it somewhere non-vital just gives it a turn to damage us, and it would only take six-three full hits to put us down for the moment.

BTW, your vote is invalid. Preparing to block counts as an action, so can't be done during the same turn as an attack, nevermind trying to do it in the same half of a turn as a move.

Almost certainly less than that given the way rolls seem to be d6 based.

[X] Move: to MED range
[X] Act: use Starshards on Vessel of Grief
-[X] His halo thing is inside that bauble thing! That feels important! Break it open with a Crystal Shard!

The health bar counted up to store what damage you have given it. As long as you don't know the stats of the target, the health bars contain AMOUNT OF DAMAGE TAKEN instead of AMOUNT OF HEALTH LEFT.
Welp. Okay then.

Still, probably did some non-neglegible damage going by the visuals. Eyes are serious bsns. Except when a guy has six of them, but whatever.

[X] Move: Into Short Range
[X] Act: Attack the Sphere containing your friend's Halo!
