Terrene Spire - Gently ended.

...There were two(/three) notable things about that last turn; First, physical collision by movement is possible in battle, but, second, our enemy has the ability to ignore this. Third, when we attacked "at this air", our attack still connected with our enemy's. Based on the latter, I suggest

[X] Anticipate retainer's attack in the first half of the turn, and slash scythe at said attack, possibly to counter or catch him off guard. Then approach enemy.

Doubt anyone will agree with me, but oh well. Worth a shot.

Interestingly, the collision was avoided specifically because of the eishalon's "formless movement" so environmental hazards may be the way to go.

I didn't put an X because I wasn't voting yet. People smarter than me discuss plans more thoroughly than me. I throw out ideas to see what responses I get, because I don't trust my ideas to be the best ones.

It seems to like range, so I think it will move back first, so we should go forward then attack.
 
Mood spike it. If the other set of spikes are still up, we can potentially shut down it's movement options. I mean, not by cutting it as it moves, but by cutting it's landing space.

Also i think this update still requires threadmarking

I really like the update, Dex! This fight is going on longer than I expected, the Retainer of Want is really keeping things interesting!

He can still dodge if he wants by moving through us like the previous turn, but if he does anything other than move it'll work, so I'll take it.

Not sure on proper attack plan, so instead making notes for the future.
- Charging is a Skill then. Not that surprising. Just another thing to learn when time allows.
- We need some type of ranged attack to soften our targets or even outright kill the weaker ones. Crescent Fireworks struck the Vessel of Grief as deeply as it did because we´d already delivered two doses of Starshards on the face.
- Failing that, learning to take proper advantage of our new body and getting another weapon to wield with our scythe would not go amiss either...
