He seems like a happy and driven guy so I don't see how he could have been driven to despair like Red was.

It's possible that a mechanic similar to Dark Souls hollowing is in play. While drive and happiness can help keep you going, repeated deaths will greatly accelerate whatever process happened to Red. The way Klog sent his assistant away suggested this wasn't exactly the first time he had killed himself for demonstration purposes, and if ghosts were still fairly new, he may have been ignorant of the consequences of repeated deaths.

The cracks in his body seem to show that as truth.
 
So there´s dizziness involved in being reborn. Yet we didn´t feel any when it happened to us, propably meaning the "Not A Ghost" thing was involved somehow.
Actually, anybody got an idea on what we are then? It might shed some light on how some of the rules work with us.

Some sort of slime monster? Or maybe we've just only recently become a ghost so we haven't died enough times to be dizzy.

Might I just say... Satsuma and Iggy's interactions were some pretty precious Mentor-Mentee / Father-Child stuff; they and he seem to have been close. Even though I'd bet he's long gone, I want us to find Satsuma and patch up them cracks with some spare Ectoplasm or something. Professor Orange is too wonderful to get Eishalon'd! :<
(Sidenote: unlike with Red becoming Vessel of Grief, Satsuma's head hole seemed to be totally intact. Just the Heart Hole was messed up. Wonder what this means!)

Anyway, yeah. We need to start thinking about getting a new a body before we get squished. Scan the environment, while looking for suitable candidates. Might want to scan Red's Orb and Scythe too. We should scan those Yellow Crystals in the ceiling too; if we can possess Glimmercite, maybe that stuff would work too?

Also also, we could try manifesting our Halo, to see how much material we can reliably possess. Don't want a repeat of the Car Incident. ._.;

    • ...yeeaaaaah, because that wasn't horrendously ominous... for now, I think it's best we go ahead and swallow the Ego Mantle Class Crystal. It should be as simple as that, from what Daeva said.

    And by the way, check out what the Objectapedia had to say on it: 'Fourth' of the crystals? We're off by one, we should probably ask about that ASAP.

    Still we are heading towards fortress and if it's accepting anyone we could end up as new leader of Orange faction.

    Convineinetly ignoring what Daeva said about how eating both of them too soon was a BAD idea?
