So what does revving up for an attack do again? And why the random shapechanging dice?STRIKE WITH PRECISION, CRUSH WITH RAW STRENGTH, IF THE ENEMY SHRUGS IT THAT'S ENERGY BADLY SPENT.
I think that means the dice roll might change spontaneously at some point. So what does revving up for an attack do again? And why the random shapechanging dice?
It is identical to wait, I think. There are techniques that let you dodge on the spot, but we don't have them.
I think you have half of it. I think Lock-On forces clashes, eyes generally symbolize precognition or higher awareness, and thus the image reflected in an eye just as significant as the eye itself. So it being a reroll, especially without looking like a die is more suspect than Lock-On letting the opponent "see" your die and them use it instead of their own.I think that's actually due to the Lock-On debuff we have on us. It allows our opponent to reroll one die, most likely per turn. He just had bad rolls this turn.

Yeah, definitely don't think it's a re-roll (no extra dice in the 'revs up for an attack'), or if it is, we've got this in the bag (three 1s in a row means it's almost certainly got pathetic Might: as it is, two 1s in a row means it's probably got only 2-3 Might). This'll be very annoying if true.I think you have half of it. From my understanding, we can sort of do that, but only to respond to the enemy's first turn moves e.g.My question is that if the enemy decides to move closer or farther away, that we either move back or follow them.
I think I'll go with this (the only thing I'm not sure about is using starshards instead of scythe, but given that the robot's rolled 1 twice in a row (well, three times, Lock On was one as well, but that isn't relevant to Might), it's probably better to have contests of Might - this'll also let us test out Zeful's theory, which if correct, would basically mean we've got to starshard it to death, find a way to get rid of Lock On or try to attack out of sync). Just going to clean it up (it might be a horrible range, but that's no need to insult it[X] Move into SHIT range from MED range.
[X] Cu enemy with scythe.
I think that was a representation of lock-on - it seems like that skill allowed the robot to reroll that die somehow, and "cutting" the die was to show that that roll was cancelled. You're right, though; if we can get a skill that lets us do that, that would great[X] MOVE into SHT range.
[X] Cut enemy with scythe.
that dice cutting thing......Just what is that? its probably will be awesome if we can cancel opponent attack by cutting it
It might even be he has attacks which have special abilities themselves, he used an attack called buzzsaw which may mean it was allowed an extra roll if the first roll was poor.I think that was a representation of lock-on - it seems like that skill allowed the robot to reroll that die somehow, and "cutting" the die was to show that that roll was cancelled. true, either that or cutting that lock on would be goodI think that was a representation of lock-on - it seems like that skill allowed the robot to reroll that die somehow, and "cutting" the die was to show that that roll was cancelled. Let's try swinging the scythe at the lock-on next turn.
