Turn Three
[x] Scavenge the battlefield
-[x] For stuff to make the banner with, then make the banner

A few soldiers try to make a banner for the company, and search the battlefield for stuff to make it with, but all they find is a few scraps of cloth.

[x] Bury your dead, you can't bury all of them right now, but you can do some

The soldiers work hard, and one third of the bodies are now buried, although the ones that they didn't get to are starting to smell.

[X] Search the city
-[X] For food and water, your wielders will need them eventually, I am assuming lower again

Ramble (default character name), searches the lower city for food and water. Unfortunately, she finds nothing, it looks like most of the supplies were already taken during the last search.

[x] Have a sparring match, test each groups skills (besides most of the Beserkers, because they can't kill their opponets), against each other.

A few members of the company want to start sparing, but it is completely disorganized, and nobody knew who was supposed to fight who.

[x] Search the city
-[x] For knowledge about the swords
--[x] In the upper city

Some soldiers check the upper city, where they got the swords from, hoping to find some information on them. Unfortunately, they find nothing but a few "normal" swords.

[X] Search the city
-[X] For better armor
--[X] In the lower city

Although a few soldiers search for better armor in the lower city, they knew it would turn out to be fruitless. The enemy armor is the best they have seen in a long time, and anything better would most likely not be found in the poorest part of the city.

[X] Search the city
-[X] For knowledge about the swords
--[X] In the middle city

The search in the middle city turns out very well, though, beyond all expectations. While they were searching through the city, they found an empty weapon shop. Although they originally dismissed it, Minusmagnus (default) checked the back and discovered a false wall. Behind it, was a shrine to Grael, but it was much more powerful then normal, and had an awakened blade as the center piece. When one of the soldiers carrying an unawakened "special" blade in her pack came close, it actually woke up. Not only that, but when silentspirals (default) searched around the shrine some more, she found a set of notes detailing how to make it. It would require a lot of blood, and one of the precious awakened blades, but they can do it!

[X] Search the city
-[X] Search the (lower, upper, middle) city for other gear you might need. Blankets, backpacks, cooking pots, maybe tents? Those kinds of things.
--[X] In the lower city

A few members of the company look for gear to make going on the move a little more comfortable in the future. Unfortunately, they didn't find anything, the people of the lower city don't really travel (no one but merchants and mercenaries do).

[X] Search the lower city for other types of 'special' objects.

Vanestus (default) searched the lower city for "special" objects like her blade (although, the blade is obviously superior), and, contrary to her eexpectations, succeeds. In an abbandoned home, hidden in a locked chest, which she smashed open, was a mysterious amulet. She doesn't know what it can do, but it is definitely "special."
Gained: Mysterious Amulet.

After that... (Regular Vote)
[] Leave and follow the nobles.

[] Leave and follow the enemy. Do you want to die? You had a whole army before, and only won because they didn't want to take more losses.
[] Stay in the city for a while longer.

A.N. I changed the formatting to make tallying by individual options easier, please use the new format and only choose ONE of the options in the parenthesis.

Background Info
The area you are in is in a state of constant warfare and is divided into many city-states at war with other city-states. It is also arid region, not a desert, but more like the sub-saharan plains. Almost every city is built on a water reservoir, but it is not enough. It is common for many cities to little more then one or two small farms. It is called the Valder Region by outsiders, but you don't call it anything.

The exception to this is the river cities, who hold the monopoly on food, and are united through a lose alliance. They sell to everyone, and remain neutral in the many wars. This has led to them becoming, very, very, rich and maintaining large and well trained armies. Attacking a river city is considered suicide. Unfortunately, the constant wars are actually necessary, because the river cities don't sell enough food (and it's doubtfully that they would be able to) to feed everyone if so many weren't killed in warfare.

Tying into warfare is the main pantheon of the region. Hizo, the god of crafts and craftsmen, Irsha, godess of fertility, farming, and rain (worshiped mainly in the river cities), and Grael, god of warfarme, specifically melee warfare. This has actually lead to ranged warfare being declared the ultimate heresy, and if anyone in the region uses it, the various fractions come together to quash them before returning to their squabbles.

Horses exist in the region (and aren't heretical, but it is borderline), but they are very rare. The main source of transportation is camels (who are favored by Irsha), or wheeled caravans pulled by camels.

To the west of the region is the great Lysandian Empire, whose lands are much more fertile. They were the ones who attacked your city, hoping to easily roll over it due to it's weak defenses. They only sent a minor (for them) army to this region for two reasons, this not too much of value (to them) here, and they have several other conquests going on elsewhere. They do have ranged weaponry, but they are not using it here because they can't take all of the region yet (with their current force). Also, the force you faced wasn't the main army, just a small vanguard hoping to take an easy first target.

The city you are in is called Ralen, and is a minor city without much wealth. What little wealth there is, is mainly held by the nobles, although the rising middle-class craftsmen and the rich merchants were changing that. The city's main export was crafts and finished goods, which they sent to other cities, but it wasn't even close to the main source of them in the region, which is why it was poor. The nobles mainly relied on the cities relative worthlessness to avoid getting attacked during the various wars, because they just weren't worth the effort to conquer and pacify.

A.N. All the background knowledge I should have given you. If you have any questions, just ask and I will tell you if you know IC.

We are gonna take this city as our own, nobles be dammed, but the situation with the fallen comrades needs to be deal with before it become a bigger problem.

Just to tell you, the city is empty, everyone either fled or died (or became one of you), and you don't really have enough people to hold if there is an attack (the empire will be back.)

Edit: It is basically a choice between waiting and (possibly) grabbing more stuff and leaving later or just leaving now.

Edit: Edit: But if you wait too long, the empire will be back.
