Considering this is Chaos and Eldar we're talking about here, and that humanity is the only thing between the two in SketchHammer, I think it's safe to say Chaos just got something fucked with. But as I said before, what state the Imperium will be in after the 13th is in our hands.
Oh, I'm quite ccertain that the Eldar are fucking with Chaos.

My point is that the Inquisitor doesn't know, and may not believe, that the eldar are messing with chaos.

My point is that the Inquisitor doesn't know, and may not believe, that the eldar are messing with chaos.
More specifically, there is no reason for him to believe the Eldar are exclusively messing with Chaos. They could very well be playing both sides, as they often do, because it makes it much easier for them to come out on top.

No, he quite clearly introduced one space marine.

One space marine. Two identical space marines. Hmm...
I think the '-' at the end of his speech and the beginning of the next one is meant to indicate he's being interrupted.
"Joanyn, then, lovely to meet you." he said, "Uh, Lysander, is me, and those two are Captain Lexon Valance of the Void Stalkers-"

"Lady Inquisitor." they both said, at the same time.

"- right, yes." he adjusted his glasses and stared at you a moment, "So, what did you do?"
He was probably going to continue
"Uh, Lysander, is me, and those two are Captain Lexon Valance of the Void Stalkers and Sergant Bob Bobbus also of the Void Stalkers."
Except I think this guy is not great at turning his thoughts into words given how he introduces himself, and Bob Bobbus is actually here incognito because of a dramatic plot he overthrew so the Marines where cutting him off before he accidentally breached op sec.

... wait, they legit measure dates by distance? Fucking hell, now we have to deal with the clusterfuck that is the utterly unhelpful and nonexistent scaling the Warhammer galaxy's maps. And a thousand days in a year? I know Pre-Imperium Terra yeeted
its less distance and more how far removed. Think of it as like an accuracy rating.
Low removes are we are in closish contact with Terra and can be sure of the date. High remove is we are out of contact/in a warpstorm/other and for all we know the date could be two thousand years off as

[X] In the underhive I saw a prohercy. The circumstances were so that I decided to pass it on up the chain to whom has more expertise.

No detail but exactly what happened.

EDIT: This is good as well:
[X] I received a prophecy, foretelling a new Black Crusade and it's success. I went into the underhive to retrieve someone who could pass the warning where it needed to go to hopefully avert the coming storm.

Unless the Ordo Chronos is something of an Alpha Legion sleeper cell, a time-travelers larp club, or both, I'm not entirely sure that telling them we're involved with Eldar is a great idea, simply because that as Imperials they'd most likely want to be the dominant and only manipulators of fate over what they probably see as meddlesome alien farseer xenos-witches. Still, the Ordo Chronos probably has people who are willing to work with Aeldari seers, if only out of a sense of practicality, but it's still a gamble. That said, lying or omitting our experiences could also be troublesome, assuming the Inquisitor has ways to tell. It's all an unknown.

I honestly don't know which words will or will not work. :(

[X] I got caught up in ridiculous, apparently Eldar plot to rescue some noble kid from the under hive so that I'd be in the right place to receive a prophecy of the next black crusade and then have the kid use an Astropath to pass on the warning. They're absolutely screwing with us but I can't pretend I didn't hear about it.... by the Emperor, they really are, just, the worst. If it affected you I guess it's probably true.
-[X] Unless, of course, they knew this would cause time stream disruptions and are using that and you to make me think they're telling part of the truth.

On one hand, Alliance of solidarity for the weak. We can't stovepipe this sort of information, we're going to have to tell people and I think this is a good guy to tell.

On the other hand, I don't automatically buy this whole prophecy thing. We are absolutely being manipulated, the fact that Cadia falls in the new canon is part of the manipulation and the question is to what extent we're being manipulated and what the damage will be. Go along with it but make it clear that this isn't good gen.

Trust no one, and trust yourself less.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but isn't the entire thesis statement of this Quest that that's a load of BS? And thus a terrible argument to use here?

Just feels kinda like self-sabotage is all.
Did...did nobody else want to comment on how he only introduced ONE Space Marine, with overtomes of 'this is the same guy, he's just here twice'?
Ordo Chronos don't question it.

The Emps does prophecies. Just sometimes he makes an Eldar deliver them. Truely he works in mysterious ways.

I feel like this is one of these cases where the setting conceit is 'lie through your teeth, you can't trust anyone!', so we should do the exact opposite. Ultimately, he's the expert on these things, so 1) he can probably help and 2) trying to lie to him might be very hard, especially if our story doesn't match up with his readings.

Praxis is deeply unsure how much shit she'd be in, she does not know anything about this weird dude.
The weird dude is also running around with a sustained Gemini Event, but Praxis probably isn't aware of what that means.
Or you could just ask one of a billion online Chapter Name Generators what you'd like.
Which will very probably spit out Void Stalkers :V

Gemini Event. It happens. Usually the when =][= REDACTED BY ORDO CHRONOS =][=

[x] Ask what "breaking the timestream" even means. That sounds alarming. What could have broken the timestream? What will that do to things? (stall and probe for info)

Worst-case scenario is that we're trying to change the Known, or possibly have already changed the Known. This is considered a bad thing for very many reasons.

[x] The Eldar and their stupid prophecies happened, of course. One of their Farseers found out about an imminent Black Crusade and figured I was in the best position to make sure word makes it up the chain. Oh, also, there's a Black Crusade coming. To any, and I'm using the term with utmost sarcasm, "All-knowing Mystics" that might feel so smug about listening in, that's how you inform someone.
