Strange Aeons: A 40k Xeno Governor Quest

An Architect in short is an Exatari that unlocks the ancestral memories of the War In Heaven and starts creating weapons orders of magnitude beyond their technological understanding, and innovating insanely fast to improve. If Atraxas become one he would be able to churn out rifles that would shatter stars with a mere thought and would quickly expand to more complex designs. It would take him all of a few centuries to reach weapons on par with that which the War in Heaven was fought with.

They are mindless, devoted solely to waging war, they fight everything and think of nothing else.

Aight. To clarify, I'm down for this being the official lore, just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page vis a vis the Exatari being crazy and player perfectionism driving us to try and fix it rather than accept the situation.
Yeah it's the lore of the race, it's very much something that can only change in insane circumstances. Frankly, it's better to just assume it cant be solved since the hoops to go through. The Exatari are broken in many ways, at the heart of it is a fundamental lack of self trust. The Exatari do not trust themselves to not return to that era of savagery if given even the slightest allowance, and they can not accept those that are the best of the race falling to that fate. Thus, their absolute insistence on death or rebinding of any that do Break away.

Well sure, but we're already planning to murder Chaos and convince the Emperor he's a god. Things being impossible have never stopped me from planning to accomplish them in quests.
Plus, worst comes to worst (precluding death, obvi), we could probably leverage Life tech into a New Eden for the species. We just need to make sure they think we're dead or otherwise a non-threat so they don't suicide charge through imperial space trying to kill us.

Can you clarify what an architect is again?

Exatari seem able to compartimentalize their emotions
Aka,they can stop themselves from feeling/caring on certain situations
They still there but their emotional response is massively numbed/rstionalized

Like a doctor which in the operating table is able to seeing someone from a individual to a piece of mest they have to cut and stitch

This emotional dissociation allows them to be able to do stuff that otherwise would traumatize them

A broken exatari is one whose mental barriers are no longer there and is feeling and living its emotions at full force with no buffer or distraction

An architech is a broken exatari thst has become lost to ots emotions and esentially becaming like the joker just wanting to follow the extreme of his emotiond with disregard of collateral

This is a bit misleading. An Architect doesn't have to be a Broken Exatari, in fact even an Exatari civilian could become one if they should completely fall prey to their race's curse. Likewise, it's not just following the extremes of their emotions, it is specifically the built-in desire to engage in as much war and violence as possible. An Architect will not produce any sort of art, nor will they even add decorations to what they build, everything must be 100% dedicating to killing.

Hm. Considering the mental resilience/general badassery ranking of Exatari Base->Scholar->Broken Scholar->LM, would an LM made up of Broken Scholars be higher quality than a regular LM of equivalent age category?

Architects are Exatari who succumb to the blood madness and survives distant from other living things long enough to start building tools and infrastructure rather than engage in immediate combat.

Have the Aeldari start looking into our region of space? there farseers must have seen that things change in our region, so i would think they would look into what made that change

Yes, the Farseers can somewhat see that things are changing. Although I will say that Atraxas makes them more blind than they usually are due to warp shred.

Is the custodes going to be revealed to more people?
Most likely yes, right now he is still adjusting to things.

Are there any anti-hero/legend weapons that are possible?
Atraxas already has some, the Inversion Arrays for example double his quality vs such beings.

if people find out that that one of the first custodes is here as his soul got pull out of the warp and put in a robot body, we gonna have to meet with some nice people with hats

I will say that Osiris is very much not enthused about meeting priests and would not be all that happy with most of the Inquisition either.

... ooooooooh this is gonna be some TTS style shenanigans, we need to find Osiris his own Kitten.
Not really, it's just that Osiris is very much trying to figure out how things got this bad. In SA one of the roles the Custodians were meant to fill were Regents if Malcador and Emps both died/become indisposed, so he is trying to figure out just why the Custodians have just sat in the palace and done nothing 99.9% of the time and is coming to conclusions that he really does not like.

I will say that Osiris is handling things infinitely better than the Custodians at the time could ever hope to. Osiris is somewhat insulated from the effects that Emps' loss inflicted on his comrades due to his warp slumber period, but he still feels the drive to return to Terra and stand eternal guard over Emps, which is conflicting with his other various oaths/duties to humanity.

Could Osiris even go back to being a Custodian? i would think the Custodians of today would kill him as they would think its a chaos plot

Naaaaah we just build him a dreadnaught style body, bury him in the ground for a bit, and rub mud on him a few times, then hose him off and say we dug him up somewhere.

The current Custodians would accept him back eagerly, the bigger issue is that Osiris wouldnt be willing to work with the current custodians for personal reasons. They are just too degraded from the original ten thousand and too different in outlook/culture for him to really consider them Custodians.

So he has no where to go, well as long we dont make he mad, i dont think he will try and kill the MC

Right now the deal with Emps is: Don't fuck this up and i won't smite/expose you.

About the best we can hope for is lenient terms for the Exatari in the future, and some help faking our death and running away when the time comes.
