Sanitation is always desirable Nevermind Nurgle and potentially tyranids and we need to calm down the warp anyway. I don't trust the misery and hatred option because of chaos. More actions are always useful. We do want to get all 20 in dev.

Oh yeah, there's also this that I've got for y'all

[] Warships of the Lamenting Legion
[] [Destroyer] Lighthouse-class Scout Destroyer
-[] Length -
1.500 Meters (+2 DP)
-[] Width - 350 Meters (+2 DP)
-[] Acceleration - 10 Gravities (-1 DP)
-[] Armor - Thin Double Hull (+2 DP)
-[] Shields - One Array (+1 DP)
-[] Weapons - 2x Light Khopesh-Pattern Missile Pods (-2 DP)
-[] Equipment - Ghosts Amidts The Stellar Winds/August Sensorium/(Standard)Dedicated Ortillery/Rapid Snapshot Targeting Solutions/Missile-Swarms/BESH Missile Store/Ship Shrines/(Standard)Space Marine Crew (-26 DP)

Developed with the intention of granting the Lamenters a dedicated scout craft, the Lighthouse-class sacrifices some of the original Thunderous Declaration-class' combat strength and durability in order to integrate an advanced sensor suite into the ship, granting it the ability to provide early warning of any foeman seeking to get the drop on any deployments of the Legion.
[] [Destroyer] Paragon-class Escort Destroyer
-[] Length
- 1.600 Meters (+1 DP)
-[] Width - 400 Meters (+1 DP)
-[] Acceleration - 10 Gravities (-1 DP)
-[] Armor - Medium Double Hull (+1 DP)
-[] Shields - One Array (+1 DP)
-[] Weapons - 4x Boarding Torpedoes/3x Medium Missile Batteries (-4 DP)
-[] Equipment - Autoloaders/Ship Shrines/Missile Swarms/(Standard) Dedicated Ortillery/Superior Gravimetric Engine Calculations/Improved Internal Security Systems/Rapid Snapshot Targetting Solutions/BESH Missile Stores/Macross Missile Massacres/Medium Teleportarium/(Standard) Space Marine Crew (-21 DP)

Where the Lighthouse was built as a dedicated scout, the Paragon-class was designed with rapid response and surgical strikes in mind, sacrificing much of its sister-craft's stealth and reconnassiance options in favor of maximizing its ability to pick out isolated targets and ensure that Astartes are always trying to ruin your day. With ten Gs of acceleration and the manueverability expected of mainline Federation vessels, it can perform this role effectively. That one of the working names of the Paragon-class was the "Bucccaneer" class is a clear exaggeration, or perhaps a prank.
[] [Frigate] Odyssey-class Boarding Ship
-[] Length
- 2.000 Meters
-[] Width - 550 Meters
-[] Acceleration - 9 Gravities (-1 DP)
-[] Armor - Thick Double Hull
-[] Shields - Two Arrays
-[] Weapons - Improved Prow Ram/4x Boarding Torpedoes/3x Medium Missile Batteries (-6 DP)
-[] Equipment - Autoloaders/Ship Shrines/Missile Swarms/Tuned Shields/Improved Prow Spur/Improved Hardened Prow/Fangs of Dew/(Standard) Dedicated Ortillery/Lattice Hulls/Medium Teleportarium/(Standard) Space Marine Crew (-21 DP)

The Odyssey-class is one of the two sister-Frigate classes designed for the use of the Lamenters, designed less as a general use escort craft and more as stubborn warship that seeks to crack the spine of its foes thanks to its fearsome psychic ram, and then proceed to launch strategic strikes with impunity, once latched on to the hole in the enemy's hull. Few Cruisers after all are built to be able to easily swat a heavily armed, highly agile frigate out of the void while dealing with the myriad other threats present in the modern battlespace.
[] [Frigate] Thunderer-class Artillery Frigate
-[] Length
- 2.000 Meters
-[] Width - 550 Meters
-[] Acceleration - 8 Gravities (+1 DP)
-[] Armor - Medium Double Hulll (+1 DP)
-[] Shields - Two Arrays
-[] Weapons - 1x Medium Prow Lance/2x Light Lance Turrets/2x Medium Boarding Hangars (-6 DP)
-[] Equipment - Pure Lenses/Ship Shrines/Automated Fighter Re-Arming Procedures/(Standard) Dedicated Ortillery/Dedicated Heavy Ortillery/Lens Cogitation Matrix Lattice/3x Black Cat Heat Cyclers/(Standard) Space Marine Crew (-24 DP)

Sometimes, an enemy force needs a bit of softening up before you can expect to get much work done, the Thunderer has been prepared so the Lamenters have a little something for just that occasion. A long range light artillery craft, its dual-purpose batteries are capable of being used for both siege bombardment or anti-ship assault, while it posseesses the ability to assist in boarding operations freely thanks to its dedicated hangars
[] [Light Cruiser] Principality-class Vanguard Strike Cruiser
-[] Length
- 4.400 Meters
-[] Width - 600 Meters
-[] Acceleration - 6 Gravities
-[] Armor - Thin Triple Hull (-1 DP)
-[] Shields - One Matrix
-[] Weapons - 6x Boarding Torpedoes/3x Heavy Missile Batteries/4x Medium Hangars (2x Mixed/2x Boarding) (-10 DP)
-[] Equipment - Autoloaders/Ship Shrines/Missile Swarms/(Standard)Dedicated Ortillery/Enhanced Supply Generation/Automated Fighter Re-Arming Procedures/Lattice Hulls/Improved Internal Security Systems/Rapid Snapshot Targeting Solutions/Yeeni Auxillary Engineer Division (-19 DP)

Designed as a general purpose Vanguard Strike Cruiser, the Principality-class excels in no one field, but has a wide variety of functions, capable of alternately launching boarding strikes, escorting heavier warships, or screening against enemy small craft. Optimized as a patrol ship, it lacks the focus and specialization it could have had--but nonetheless serves as a reliable all-rounder for general internal and allied system missions.
[] [Light Cruiser] Dominion-class Vanguard Strike Cruiser
-[] Length
- 4.400 Meters
-[] Width - 600 Meters
-[] Acceleration - 6 Gravities
-[] Armor - Thin Triple Hull (-1 DP)
-[] Shields - One Matrix
-[] Weapons - 4x Large Lance Turrets/4x Medium Hangars (2x Mixed/2x Boarding) (-10 DP)
-[] Equipment - Pure Lenses/Automated Fighter Re-Arming Procedures/Lattice Hulls/Improved Internal Security Systems/(Standard) Dedicated Ortillery/Lance Scattershot Lens/Yeeni Auxillary Engineer Division/Lens Cogitation Matrix Lattice/(Standard) Space Marine Crew (-19 DP)

In comparison to the all-rounder Principality-class, the Dominion-class VSC replaces the boarding torpedoes and missile batteries with a dedicated lance armament, equipped with scatter-shot lenses and focusing devices to allow it to serve as a heavy escort for Lamenter fleets, providing a useful niche for itself.
[] [Heavy Cruiser] Apollo-class Strike Cruiser
-[] Length
- 5.400 Meters (-1 DP)
-[] Width - 1.000 Meters (-1 DP)
-[] Acceleration - 4 Gravities
-[] Armor - Light Fortress Armor (-2 DP)
-[] Shields - Three Lattices
-[] Weapons - Improved Heavy Prow Ram/The Shatterprow/4x Boarding Batteries/1x Anti-Voidcraft Defenses (-9 DP)
-[] Equipment - (Standard) Dedicated Ortillery/Lattice Hulls/Superior Gravimetric Engine Calculations/Improved Prow Spur/Improved Hardened Prow/Fangs of Dew/Improved Internal Security Systems/Yeeni Auxillary Engineer Division (-18 DP)

Some might call the Apollo-class to be the ultimate manifestation of the Strike Cruiser--nothing short of a Heavy Cruiser scaled warship that exists for the sole purpose of delivering Space Marines to the target in the most destructive manner imaginable. Emanating a psychic field when at full burn, the highly maneuverable warship becomes nearly impervious to forward attack during its approach, resisting incoming harm with its terrific armor. On contact, the entire force of the ship's forward momentum is discharged through the ram, delivering a blow that can crack a Battleship's spine on impact. Then you're dealing with the boarding pods and saboteurs that come afterwards.

There's more work coming on this shortly, I'm just posting what I've got before I take a break, Space Marine Escorts are kind of tricky because they're not chonky enough to make best use of their strengths as a general faction, but I think I got something workable here.

This is a permanent buff if we choose to explore Sigils further, and I get the feeling we will be doing a lot of cleaning when Tyranids come?

You went from High Imperial onwards.
Permanent.

Oh yeah, while you're here Cooky, I guess All-XX is the last "Unique" benefit with regards to Inf building? Presumably with a suitable capstone for getting the All-XX? And while it's technically possible to increase beyond that, it's not really providing any real benefits? Maybe at most, you get to re-take perks you passed up before?

Also, are we ever going to hit Advanced in anything before endgame? Or is that purely dependent on lootbox stuff?

I mean, we've fully integrated the Irrita, and they've got Advanced in Terraforming and so on. When put the way Cooky puts it though, wow, it's kind of wild we could've had Cloning hit Advanced way back.
On that note, while on the FAQ it says that we'll get milestone perks every 5th but only explicitly notes 5/10/15/20, there's no hard limit on the "every 3rd you'll get a new ship class"

I'm going to assume that we're not going to get any milestone perk at XXV and thus we shouldn't get anything for Void Industry XXIII, since dreadnoughts are meant to be unique and they can be scaled up to planetoids given sufficient industry and AP investment, but for the sake of it is there in fact a new voidship class / new dev milestones or no. I'm honestly only asking this because with the new lootbox perks and fedpost we can in fact actually get Civ XXV before endgame tbh.

I think it's that there's nothing new after XX, but we might be able to grab missed perks at milestones afterwards, just that we've very much hit the point of "Is it really worth it at this point when All-XX probably puts you at a Standard of Living comparable to the core worlds of the DAOT?"

yeah at that point i imagine is better if we get to rescue missed traits, maybe upgraded (to reflect that those traits are adquired at a point we have a higher tech base) rather than making wholly new ones

Anyway, most of the Lamenter ships are done now, just need one more Strike Cruiser and the Battle Barge to go. I'm not sure how great they are (The mandatory components end up eating a good chunk of the entire budget after all once we get into LCs and HCs), but I'm making it work.

(Seriously, the mandatory components eat 8 DP on a max DP of 33, it's rough T_T)

Aside from getting the All 20 capstone as Faith, I really hope that we get the Megastructures trait somehow. It just doesn't make any sense for a sci-fi faction that can build 200km long warships to not be able to build Dyson Swarms (albeit slowly).
