[X] Proven Skill And Secured Futures

[] Chosen Leaders And Dedicated Caretakers

[Heretical] - No More Masters! No More Rulers! Let the people yell their futures plainly into the void; let them choose from nine leaders every nine years to lead them by consent, one chosen by the faith of all, one easily massacred if they stray from the path that shall see the Star Child born!
(Chosen Government: Autocratic Democracy. One leader is chosen by the consent of all your people and empowered to take their desires and wishes into the future with action and faith. The Imperium has become a stagnant pool of rot; let us change it with hope and burning might born of faith!)

Using the sacred number of Tzeentch seems like a really bad idea.

Tbh we can go for the republic style of the star wars prequel era if we get palnets or even systems to us.
Is still a better system then any form of gov in wh 40k.

As far as it goes we literally have pretty high Chaos resistance, the idea that picking even one Heretical options means Chaos takes over is even less true for us than it is in general.

It's pretty obviously just numerological brainworms.

It wouldn't let chaos take over yes, but I rather get Immunity then just resistance to low level Chaos tricks.

I'm pretty sure we're going to have chances to increase our Iconoclasm. If it's based on the RT stuff, you can get up to Rank 2 in the two that you don't pick to take up real high, so it'd make sense that choosing Heretical here doesn't lock off eventually getting Iconoclast 5, even if Iconoclast 5 locks out Heretical 3+.

That is fair and looks to be true, but I am fine picking that up in play. I want Iconoclast 5 now or as soon as we can get it as it helps us the most at the basics of anti chaos.

WAIT WHAT?!

...god fucking damn it, literally cannot have ANYTHING good in 40k can we?
Granted this came from Rogue Trader (1987) so take the idea of their being a galactic corporation that sells fast food that isn't at least treated on a star system by start system basis, and definitely not a sector or Segmentum level, with a truck load of salt. But, yes their are corporations in the 41st Millenium, just not as powerful as they are in that setting as they are in the real world.
