I'm thinking of making what's basically a beefed up mawlr

I mean, a Mawlr isn't bad, but that shouldn't be our mainline Battle Titan design, Battle Titans exist to challenge other Battle Titans.

EDIT: Wow, only personal art? And we Have to have a a reference to submit anything bigger than a Scout Titan?

That's really mean T_T

Anyway, behold, our newest weapon of war.

A fully armed and operational noodle titan.

(All the weaponry is, of course, mounted internally because that's easier more secure, and no legs are trivially the best form of transportation.

This one seems to be tied into the whole psy network of the psychic sands, so it might just be magical?

How far can we deviate from the traditional bipedal humanoid mech?

Is giant snake an option?
Not magical, only very holy (and thus Chaos resistant). Much sadge.

You can take the number of legs shown here.

No. I have a Snake Mech in my Supreme Twink Dictator Quest, and that is all the Snake Mech I can stomach.
Aren't these the same 500 meter size?
Fixed.
Whtf is a 1.5 kilometre long abomination doing moving?
Being a God-Machine. It ain't gotta explaim shit, it's doped up on that Motive Force shit, the real Deus Mechanicus blessed stuff.
We put two actions into this and that gets us one 50-meter titan?
That was part of a hastily added clarification. It is now clearer.

But for real: Night!

Ah, That's better. We get a full cohort per breakpoint, not just a singular Titan.

Anyway, I've tapped into some of my connections, I've got a bite for a sketch, hopefully I get something in time though.

I can write up the design in the meantime though.

Wait what? The scales here do not match. We put two actions into this and that gets us one 50-meter titan? With the same investment that lets us make literally 90 capitol ships (180 with the last fleet update).

50 meters of titan... or 800 kilometers of ship. That's a 16,000x difference.

I get that this is the first one we've made. But... wow. I'm underwhelmed with the titan action.
This is what I feared, Titans be EXPENSIVE. If they weren't, you'd see everyone be able to make them despite being smaller than a Frigate.

We could have have Gundams, but nooooo….

Hm. If we go with the medium Titan then I think we should have one of the shoulder weapons be a Rad-Lance so that it can disrupt enemy titan shields.

One of the hand weapons should be some manner of plasma cannon, make the other shoulder weapon be a modular missile launcher?

I'd prefer a melta instead of plasma
Since the rad lance will get rid of shields metal takes care of armor

[ ] Valiant Battle Titan
-[][Sketch]

Maybe not quite this boxy and a bit more curved, but you can't expect miracles on short notice and no money. Shoutout to @TheCount for doing this up for me!
-[][Size] Immensa Immensus
-[][Left-Hand Armament/s] Plasma Destructor
-[][Right-Hand Armament/s] Titan Power Sword (Heat Sword? I don't know)
-[][Left Shoulder Armament/s] 2x Gatling Blaster
-[][Right Shoulder Armament/s] 2x Missile Launchers
-[][Number of Legs] Two

The first Titan designed by the Glittering Federation, the White Knight that stands in defiance against the most terrible forces of Old Night and those who would bring despair to the Star Child's adherents, a God-Machine in truth, the Valiant Battle Titan's purpose is to serve as a check against hostile superheavy forces, with a special focus on battling other Titans. To that end, the Valiant is equipped with a Titan-scale Close Combat Blade, and a Plasma Destructor on its offhand--shrouded by a protective cowling resembling that of a great kite shield. Its shoulder-mounted armaments are a Gatling Blaster intended to suppress Void Shields on the approach, as well as a set of naval grade Missile Launchers to provide a degree of indirect fire support on the approach. At the end of the day though, the Valiant is intended to strike against its opposite numbers over all other purposes, and in the name of its patron Saint Theodorus, it will not be found wanting.

Wtf is a 1.5 kilometre long abomination doing moving?

Why not also add a way to fly to the titan,so we could ship it outside the planet into space

We could call it.... a SPACESHIP

The inmensus inmensus come across as obsolote when we already have 1.5ish km ships

Maybe it can also operate as a mobile supply base thats is blessed against chaos?

Titans have naval grade defenses and armament, but are much denser on average than a voidship, which has to waste a lot of its relative cubic footage on allowing the literal city of people living in it to go about their business.

Titans are strictly crewed by relatively small teams of professionals, with top tier automation, and are built as dense as possible. They are not the same. Ton for ton, a Titan is the strongest force in the setting, Voidships beat it because there's no upper limit to how large you can make them as long as you have the thrust to keep them moving. Titans are only capped by your structural material's ability to physically support its weight, and top grade Adamantium is wild stuff, which gets used in making them.

Wait how many actions do you want to put into this? My best guess is that this will cost 3-4 more actions. Do... do we have that many actions to spare? I'd prefer to just make a cohort of scout titans to crush the Black Ash... though if we're commissioning art and making one titan, then let's make a damn cohort of titans, I suppose.

Edit: I guess while we're waiting for the Warp to calm down we can keep Heartbeat of Industry up, finish these titans and do a military expedition now that we'll have the grand cruiser supply ship.

Thank you!

If we're doing this at all, let's not take half measures. Get a proper Battle Titan design online for when Chaos decides to show us their own. They'll be handy when the bugs show up too.

And anyway, if my contacts don't get back to me, the vote'll be invalid anyway.

And DAOT Humans had Titans that were more bio than metal at times, meaning Titans get fucking crazy! Another good example of this is Elder Titans the high grade of them are Anti Greater Demon

Yeah, that's another thing, if we're going with the interpretation of "A single Greater Daemon is functionally immune to any amount of conventional firepower", a Battle Titan is our counter to that.

So here are my (unasked) thoughts:
Titans are only really needed in two scenarios: destroying heavy fortification and destroying enemy titans.
Both of these foes require heavy investment and typically are fairly concentrated (e.g fortress worlds, forge worlds, hive worlds). Therefore, we should focus on something that concentrates heavy amounts of force into a point rather than a more economical, smaller titan.

For this, I would recommend volcano cannons and apocalypse missiles (or an equivalent) as standard, with maybe a couple meltas for structures and denser targets like armored columns.

Yeah eldar titans are pure bullshit
They litteraly can do backflips
Good example of how a Eldar titan moves

For the melee weapon I think what you are looking for is a Power Glaive, something like what the Eldar Titans use

Depends how the artist will interpret it, I'm not expecting or asking for anything more than a vague sketch because getting anything better than that on short notice is ridiculous.
