Didn't quite hit the design goal of "capable of being mass-produced" but it is otherwise a very capable ship. We'll have to see how it goes. A weak spot is annoying but not particularly critical I would think, since it's protected by both the shields and its high agility.

i would be up to revising the design by exchanging the wide deflector to a normal one and producing that while letting the first one we built be either retrofitted or kept in service as is

My point is that if she's in a battle line she's likely protecting slower, more fragile ships you could threaten those to force her to stay in range. You might have to sacrifice most if not all of you're Fleet present at the battle to pull it off but depending on how rare/useful they are it might be worth the trade
Sure, but then while you're feeding most of your light ships to the angriest BB Starfleet has given your capital ships a lesson in what happens to unescorted capital ships when there are packs of Ushaan on the hunt

Why is she protecting other ships? Her job is to hunt and kill enemy capital ships. Other smaller ships are there to screen her from enemy small ships, that's how a battlefleet works.

If you're feeding her cruisers she'll pound them to scrap in double time.

She's honestly a gorgeous ship and considering she's faster than anything larger than a Light Cruiser the Deflector is going to be safe for almost all her engagements.

Sure, but then we need to fix the saucer as well. The Ushaan style was clearly the correct choice as the deflector was forced in order to correct a deficiency in torpedo armament by going with the Endeavor saucer.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to change my identity and move to some remote colony before the UP mob gets to me.

At cruise, yes. At max warp she's waaaay faster.

At impulse she can't because while she's a battleship with the maneuverability of a cruiser the Ushaan are cruisers with the maneuverability of goddamn corvettes
She'd still be able to act as an anchor for the Ushaan pack to fight around. And considering what is running roughshod over their rear line, an enemy wouldn't be able to ignore it, they'd be forced to divert a significant chunk of their fleet to trying to kill ships that can outrun almost anything in their own fleet, while simultaneously hitting harder as well. They'd have have split their attention and fleet in God knows how many different directions in a futile attempt to catch and pin down the Urshaan/BB pack and even if they pulled it of by some miracle, the BB has enough firepower and armor/shield to force a hole back to friendly lines.

I mean, there's still the Galaxy Refits to be the 'cheap' Battleships until this gorgeous lady's production can get up to speed/she can have some of her 'quirks' ironed out and made easier to manufacture in a Tranche II. They're not the ridiculous overmatch against literally anything short of a Borg Cube that she is, but a couple of them as 'Light' Battleships (still significantly larger and deadlier than all but the rarest, most expensive combatants anyone else has, and even some of them!) that at this point can probably be cranked out by anyone with a sufficiently large Industrial Replicator given that they're a refit of a ship built two entire generations of tech ago, yet can go a-slaughtering anything short of the heaviest enemy combatants individually, and in packs can even give them a very bad day without too much difficulty, particularly with the new Quantum Torpedoes we just finished bringing out of prototyping.
