Are you talking about the volleys or firing lines?
Can the deflectors be replaced or a buffer cutout installed to eliminate the vulnerability it has introduced?

Warp 8 cruise is unfortunate but as fast as an Ushaan so not terrible, and it's quite possibly the fastest ship out there over short distances. Nothing can run from it.

The worst result was the glass jaw it has with the Deflector

Ow that deflector dish. Wouldn't mind so much on a cargo or science vessel but on a warship? Eeesh

Tbh I'm fairly happy with the warp coil results. Warp 9.985 is terrifyingly fast over sprinting distances and allows it to chase down basically any ship as well as respond to emergencies much faster than anyone else

Honestly, calling this ship the Sovereign seems wrong somehow. It has enough problems and serious enough ones that I feel like this might be the first genuine failure we've produced. Though perhaps there will be a mk2 of the design that will fix all those problems.
 
I wouldn't call it a failure. The most serious problem is the Deflector and to be fair, if you're shooting at the deflector dish it probably means you're right in the firing angle for 8 quantum torpedoes and a terrifying phaser broadside

I haven't been here long but this thing seems like an absolute dumpster fire of a warship. If I was in charge of whatever unfortunate navy/fleet receives this thing I'd had have it relegated to 2nd or 3rd line duty just for that 'shoot here to blow-up entire ship' issue, if I didn't have the option to send it straight to the scrapper when it arrives.

Majesty or Sovereign it is definitely not.

Edit: My initial concern weren't as bad as i thought, so this thing definitely deserves the name, shame there's never going to be enough of them.
