Well he has a nickname that you will love that I didn't put on the sheet precisely for the update…
Let me guess: Joker?

You also have 3 small children that are toddlers, but I do not wish to make sheets for them until they are a little older.

Anyone who gets those references, congrats, you get a cookie.
The names come from three of our padawans from Agguruva's Quest (name is escaping me at the moment).

The Great weakness in the Imperial war machine.
The Great weakness in the Imperial war machine.

The empire is a massive, powerful war machine that has ties to the great Army of the Republic. And yet, for all of it's mighty ships, sheer firepower, and captains, there are the signs of a potential catastrophic problem. For in spite of it's predecessor's vast fighter corp whom among other things played a vital role in defending republic ships from the Seperatist fighter swarms, any expert whom studied the on paper statistics of the various Empire craft would notice one glaring discrepancy. Namely the number of TIE fighters would nearly always fall short of the projected numbers for a ship, which is especially problematic considering they are meant to protect said ships from bomber attacks.

While the Empire enjoys having no real peer and being in possession of every known starfighter factory, should one of our enemies manage to acquire a bluprint for a fighter with similar overall quality as our TIEs and the means to build them, said enemy could very easily escalate to a potentially catastrophic threat. As while on paper we should be able to handle such, the problem is the ship design teams didn't really design most of our ships to be able to fend off any serious fighter attack without a full TIE compliment, which is a very rare sight in the navy thanks to the fact that the only serious fighter threat nowadays is mostly the likewise lacking compliment of fellow moths and UGLIES whom can't compare to the TIEs the Empire fields.

While in theory it would be an easy fix, in practise it is anything but, thanks to the real problems that this is only a symptom of, it is far more difficult and complicated. For, well, the tarkin doctrine which emphasizes intimidation, when paired with the prestigious nature of commanding ISDs and the cutthroat nature of politics, ensure there is an endless demand for more ISDs and bigger ships, while undervaluing the humble corvettes and fighters. And to only further exacerbate things, in spite of the absolutely critical role, short of a rare few aces, they are often treated as nothing more than cannon fodder, to be tossed at the enemy carelessly, with the perception even bleeding into the training somewhat. These two factors are the true core of the problem, and one that will need solved if there is any real effort to fix the glaring weakness in the grand war machine. But of course, it is unlikely any effort would be made to actually fix this issue until the Empire is forced to accept it by an enemy equipped and ready to punish the empire for it's self-made weakness, and even then, it is difficult to say if those with the awareness to see the problem for what it is would be able to actually force the change through thanks to how deeply engrained big ships are in politics.

A/N: Well, decided to write something of a short essay thing, of essentially an analyst that for one reason or another saw the major flaw in the empire war machine.

+10 to the rolls.

Haven't even had a first real chapter and already a (I'm pretty sure there called omaked right? Don't really actually interact often) I love this site

Choose Starting Location:

Starting Sectors:

[]Aalderaan: The Jewel of the Core Worlds, and perhaps one of the most prosperous planets in the Galaxy, known for its mineral, industrial and cultural wealth. Most who are stationed here find the deployment easy and entirely forgettable, as there is almost no rebel activity, save for a few protests. There are rumors that the Viceroy Bail Organa is a sympathizer for several Republican and Senate causes, but nothing has ever materialized, save for him being on record that he is far more interested in Senate politics than the Emperor's decrees.

[]Coruscant: It seems the Emperor has taken an interest in your career personally and has requested you join the many thousands of garrisons on the planet. It's always something to work so close to the capital when the Emperor is able to watch your every move. Yet there is always an opportunity to be had in the Capital of the Galaxy. Always.

[]Corellia: You have always wondered why they let you oversee Corellia? Perhaps it is because it was a second home to you. Perhaps they just needed someone competent to reel in the shipyards after all their shipyard contracts went to Kuat after the Clone wars, forcing them to focus on far more civilian ship models and cargo. There is always something going on in Corelia if the Hells are willing.

[]Kuat: You think the emperor just wants you out of the way as an administrator? After all, why else would he want you here? After all, many of the other Moffs would kill to have this job. Head of the Imperial Shipyards?

[]Naboo: You think that the Emperor is truly mad? Naboo, his homeworld, a bastion of continual Democracy needs you as its govoner? You had heard that the rebellious previous queen had been removed, and forcefully, but there is nothing more now to do. It is a peaceful world, not known for anything more than its role in galactic history. It has played its part of the story now? Why make it play any more roles in it?

[]Christophsis: How long had it taken for the planet to still be rebuilding like this? So much had been sent away after the world to feed the ever-growing industrial might of the Empire. This place is nothing more than a mine with a base on it. And angry natives that might see nothing but invaders.

[]Lothal: Nothing happens in this backwater, to the point where the lads are nice and lazy, and the only thing most people worry about is Lothwolves and street thieves. And for your purposes, that is perfect. No one cares about this place. No one, except you.

[]Dantooine: To think that this place still holds a ruin for the Jedi thousands of years later. This place is just like what you see. A relic, a forgotten relic with a strategic status. A farming world that holds little value besides that.

[]Kashyyyk: The Wookiees are enslaved, broken, and conquered. there was nothing else to say about this other than the Emperor's Will. He needed them to fill the shipyards and the great factories and mining sectors. It is merely a place where Wookiees have their homeland. And where those that are still there speak of riddles and of... Terror. This is a place where few imperial forces go to, where the most brutal and the most terror are there.

[]Onderon: The Partisans of Saw Gurrera have infested the peaceful planet, and wish to remove the Empire's Presence. However, even if there was not the partisan, there is a political battle that will soon be at stake. The King is old, and his heirs are not as loyal to the Empire as their weary father. Some say that there will be a civil war. And you will need to play the King Maker.

[]Nar Shaddaa: To think the Hutts allowed an Imperial Presence on their moon. It is almost impossible to say this, but there is something nice here. A Shipyard in orbit for Tie Fighters, and a sturdy garrison, and easy access to the Hutts... It's almost too perfect to realize. Maybe you have a chance.

AN: Enjoy.

Please choose only one option... well, its approval voting, but try to keep it... like to three max.

I'm thinking this one just to give an advantage. Because we're already doing hard mode, might as well give us some leeway.

hmm...
The Lothwolves would probably be an interesting neighbor.
WEll and maybe we can prevent some Tarkin Towns.

Or at the very least, use them as recruiting grounds for the Rebel Alliance.

Eh all the options are very interesting.

And who says anything about this being hard mode.

It's a different mode than everyone is used to, all I will say is that we can not punch our way out .

Because that means Vadar comes knocking, and we don't got a skywalker.

All I will say is that it opens up new... and harder opportunities for you all, where ever you choose.

All I will say is: I have my own personal ranking of difficulty for all the planets, with the actions and Trust Actions I made...

And oh boy...

i really decided to make some hard. :V

Highest risk, greatest reward for our other worldly good at diplomacy Moth.

[X]Kuat

You know what would be funny, if we built a better, more cost effective starship for the empire, with a teensy weensy little weak point that makes them devastating vulnerable to rebel Bombers, and much smaller tie fighter hangers.

[X]Onderon

King Maker. Perfect for a high diplomacy and stewardship character with decent martial and intrique.

I like living dangerously.
