Something Wicked (Villainous Magical Boy Quest)

...You know what, she could become an enchanter no problem, since that sure is a lot of stuff she managed to turn magical completely by accident.

[X] TELL ROSE: ELEMENTALISM
This seems like the best option to help her become even better at making magical stuff.

What? What do you mean we're continuing to help our enemies learn how to do cool magic? If humanity's gonna have a place when the Estil come here, they're gonna need a niche to fill, and you know what? Crafting magic stuff seems like a pretty good niche to me!

[X] DON'T TELL ROSE: ELEMENTALISM

Alien Cat-boy talking about his mutant Cat-boy roommate like a pet to a girl who has/would definitely dress as a Cat-girl is peak interaction.

[X] DON'T TELL ROSE: ELEMENTALISM

Can I ask why everyone's picking elementalism?
Fire magic and healing don't go together, so that one is immediately gone.

Offense and Defense will help her wreck us later, so maybe teaching her that isn't a great idea.

Elementalism is the only one left. Besides, it does have some synergy with her element so that's cool.

I mean, my reason is because it seems like the one with the most compatibility with enchanting stuff, which like. I know everything got enchanted by accident due to the magical imbalance, but! That sure is a lot of good combinations, even if the material isn't necessarily ideal. To me at least, she appears to have a natural aptitude for enchanting, and I'd like to encourage that.

As I said, really not interested in the whole mentor deal. I'd much rather actually be a villain, launch monster attacks and just get in fights with them. If there was a don't tell her anything choice I'd take it, but that doesn't seem to be an option any more.

Picking Rose pretty much confirmed that you were going to tell her something in order to guide her development. If you didn't want to tell a magical girl stuff, you should have voted for someone whose option summary didn't include the opportunity to guide her development. Of course, there's no guarantee she'll listen...

I know, and I did not vote to talk to her. Was just putting down my explanation for why I'm voting not to tell her about magic when there's been a lot of talk in the thread about being a mentor before.

The big question is who's going to make Zaiyu hurt the worst from talking about magic to a human? Shayin, Lady Starspite, or Sasori?

EDIT: alright... changing my vote to do the responsible thing....

You have no idea what the difference between a fighting game and a strategy game is—at least, not on this planet—so you nod and move on.
If you're playing one guy beating up one other guy, it's a fighting game.
If you're playing a general commanding a bunch of guys to beat up another bunch of guys, it's a strategy games.

(Also, Suzune has good taste.)

The photo of the little stuffed sparkcat on the flyer is super cute, even if the creator seems to have removed the plasma and the starry void eyes.
"I think that's just a cat, dude."
"A what now?"
"Do...do you not know what a cat is?"
"No. Why would I know about Earth animals?"
"Why would you name a space animal a cat if you don't know what cats are?"
"It's not a cat, it's a sparkcat!"

The ribbon flaps in the air as she turns to go. It's shiny and dangly and you want to bat at it.
If only Zaiyu knew what cats were, maybe he'd understand himself better.

"And now it's a bit late to do more shopping." She sighs. "After something like this, it's probably best to go straight home, huh… but I don't really want to." Those last words are quieter than the rest of her statement.

"If you don't want to go home, then don't?" you suggest, shrugging.

"What would I do, then? The arcade's closed for the day. And I think all this was a bit much for Suzu. She's definitely gonna be heading home, and her mom doesn't really like me."
I'm sure Zaiyu would be willing to invite you to his place...if it wasn't for his weird roommates.

When they create their magical team, they won't know the genre is Magical Girls vs EVIL. And why wouldn't they include a cute and interesting mage gymnast-boy from another country and who has good taste in literature? This can be our ticket.
I can practically see the scene now.

There's a monster rampaging in downtown Tokyo, and Zaiyu is down there in human form to keep an eye on it. The magical girls are scrambling to react, and Rose recognizes the mysterious cat-lover who told her about magic. She drags him in, because Zaiyu can't think of a lie fast enough, and this will give him a front seat to his creation's activities. Besides, it's not like these humans are any real threat to the monster.

Fire magic and healing don't go together, so that one is immediately gone.
Tell that to Toriel.

Rins wouldn't be thrilled by it, either. If we play this right wrong, Mitl might be the only person on the moon willing to talk with Zaiyu.

[X] TELL ROSE: HEALING
[X] DON'T TELL ROSE: OFFENCE

She seems to have figured out that on her own.

Still iffy on taking the mentor route since Rose doesn't seem like the type of person who's good at keeping secrets and this seems like it has a high chance of backfiring haha but I guess that's where we're heading. I don't think Zaiyu will be able to juggle taking care of Sasori and Rose at the same time to be honest with y'all, they both need a lot of work.
