[X]Bandit Slaying: "Local bandits are rallying under a Man who calls himself the Burned Dragon. Our mission is to kill him and find out how he was rallying support so quickly and financing his forces. Bandits are troublesome… but they are still just bandits." (Begins: The Honest Hearts Arc)

I smell a sympathetic rebel! Or maybe a Stain type villain, who sees the problems in society and decides to burn it down.

But these all seem cool.

[X] Bodyguarding: "This mission is a simple one. Escort a nobleman to the Land of the Moon, and make sure he reaches his destination safely. He's on the run from some debt collectors, but he assures us that they are just strong men, and not a ninja. He requested to make one stop, a poker Tournament in the Land of Waterfalls... If you want to Bring money to gamble, pack it up. It's one of the few nations on the continent where anyone with money can play." (Begin: Dead Money Arc)

Lets see if magic Eye balls let us cheat.

Crossing Shiro and the Teams first kills of the list, probaly a important mission too since the Team should have to atleast get used to taking a life instead of having to deal with it during an important mission and having them freeze up, better now in a somewhat controlled environment imo.

Jewels? Is it a Nasuverse crossover? :p

[x]Bodyguarding

Defending someone from potentially deadly threats is obviously the mission with the high(est) moral ground (at least out of those proposed). And as such this seems like the best way to ease the little genins into using deadly violence for the sake of monetary remuneration, aka being hired killers.

Because of the song. Also because of the eternal question of pirates vs ninja

THIS SOUNDS LIKE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!

So this brain-bug won't leave me alone, I'm gonna excise it. @Magoose you can steal some or all of these ideas or ignore them completely, whatever works my man. I'm just inspired by your open use of Personal Weapons thus far in this quest.

Team Genius (Shiro's Team):
-Shiro Hyuga: Armored gloves that protect the hands, laced with chakra-channeling/enhancing materials to make Juken strikes even more deadly. Also enhances Medical jutsu. (These are a signature Hyuga item.)
-Futaba Sanada: She's already working on a meteor-iron Yari.
-Itachi Uchiha: A daisho pair of katana and wakizashi.

Team Gai:
-Rock Lee: The BEAUTIFUL GREEN WILD BEAST OF KONOHA utilizes special weights that can be extracted and combined to form a staff, a pair of escrima sticks, or extend into a horrifically powerful kusari-fundo chain.
-Neji Hyuga: Armored gloves that protect the hands, laced with chakra-channeling/enhancing materials to make Juken strikes even more deadly. (These are a signature Hyuga item.)
-TenTen: UNLIMITED WEAPONS WORKS

Team 7:
-Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze: I'm honestly at a loss, I can't pick something that feels just right for Naruto.
-Sasuke Uchiha: The Sword of the Thunder God.
-Sakura Haruno: I'm going to assume Shizune stays in Konoha, and knows enough of Tsunade's teachings that she could pass them to Sakura. Meaning Sakura gets the super-strength. Thus, I'm picking a Bow, because imagine the pull on a bow that doesn't instantly shatter under her strength, and then imagine what those arrows do to their target. She also has reinforced gloves to protect her hands when she casts Fist.

Team 8:
-Hinata Hyuga: Armored gloves that protect the hands, laced with chakra-channeling/enhancing materials to make Juken strikes even more deadly. Also enhances Medical jutsu. (These are a signature Hyuga item.)
-Kiba Inuzaka: Gloves and boots with extendable claws, they greatly enhance the power of his teamwork jutsu (Fang Over Fang, etc)
-Shino Aburame: Pair of escrima sticks that have pop-out kama blades. Very mantis-like fighting style.

Team 10 INO-SHIKA-CHO:
-Shikamaru Nara: Set of chakra-channeling trench knives. Can he manifest two pairs of shadow arms, allowing him to sextuple-wield knives whose blades can extend several feet at will as well as extending the reach of his shadow jutsu? Maybe.
-Choji Akimichi: Kanabo with extendable spikes. Can change sizes with him.
-Ino Yamanaka: A reinforced scarf with blades hidden throughout its length, it can be controlled with chakra and move on its own.

I think that the Akimichi tend to use staves, not Kanabo, but this is great! Have a like, regardless of whether Magoose uses any of them.

I... have a hard time seeing these as being things. I'd think gloves would be the LAST thing a Hyuuga would want, for it limits flexibility and striking surface. The glove, being armored, would intefere with movement, and the coverings would get in the way of using all the tenketsu on their hands.

Also, I don't think chakra-channeling metal would help at all. Juken doesn't rely on force or lots of chakra, it is more dependent on speed, being able to strike your opponents weak points before they can do anything. The materials MIGHT help novices, but once you get sufficiently trained putting more chakra into your strike won't help unless you just feel like causing a meaty explosion.

I don't think Tsunade-style super strength works like that. They explicitly are brief explosions of power, while a bow requires continual strength.

There really is nothing you can give to a Hyuuga melee wise that will be better then them just hitting their opponents with their hands. Also anyone sane will actively try to avoid getting that close to a Hyuuga and will try to play distance game unless they have a way to no sell all damage or something. Better off trying to think up of a long range weapon for us to use until the time where we can pull of miniature nuke jutsus and such.

For long-range, I vote Bow. The Byakugan makes us absurdly capable of long-range combat, we'll be able to outdistance basically anyone.

Only problem: you need a very powerful bow to penetrate ninja defenses, like Kidomaru's. When it is a less powerful bow, the enemy will have time to hear the arrow and dodge.

Why would we NOT be using super-powerful bows with absurd draw weights?

As for hearing them, that is a problem solved as soon as our arrow breaks the sound barrier. We might also be able to do Chakra Stuff to make the arrows quieter.
