On what we want to spend Death Hog free action?

Buffing someone? Debuffing Pale Raider? Healing Clove?
Well, if Piastol can still attack maybe buff her. If we use attacks that only focus on one enemy, it will have to be against the oni, and it has advantage against physical. The buff should change it to fire, which should negate that resistance.

Hey, are we having Belle and Clove search the place for loot and/or stuff to help the fight with? Because I think we should do that.

And have someone heal Clove, the DC should be low, if I understand how that spell works.

I think we should have Clove help Belle search the warehouse. While being healed and buff by Piastol and death hound. Canaan protecting Maria, Piastol using her last ap to use her light attack on oni. While the boys get the band together.

Okay, if anyone attacks Oni, they shouldn't do it physically.

Canaan- Gun is non-physical, but we probably want to keep her on Maria protection duty. I think having her hide away with Maria is probably the best option, because then Canaan is freed up in the following turns and it's a contested trickery, which she's quite good at.

Clove- She only has physical attacks, but can also coordinate with Belle. May as well do the warehouse search, helps keep her out of danger while her HP is low.
Does her combo move actually get full advantage if we pick it though? Or does it cancel out with the oni's trait?

Belle, well, I wanted her to loot the warehouse anyway. Better chances of getting something good coordinating with Clove and being directly helpful.

Metal has blasting, which leaves his other AP protecting Belle, I guess. Plus healing Clove for his free action.

Piastol, thankfully, has two magic attacks in Welves and Eterni. Plus potentially healing Clove.
THAT SAID, if Metal is also probably healing her and Piastol's heal will need to recharge for the trade-off of automatically succeeding, so I might consider saving it in case they mess up someone else. Instead, especially with so many attacks probably going for Oni, might be worth trying to debuff him with Noxi.

Vector has some GOOD options here, between music attacks (AoE!), bubblegum and fire breath.

Espio, may as well just use his ninja arts.

Piastol have two different spell attack options, so that effect of Incremus is redundant.

Send out a serrated cyclone (1 AP) (Pick a target)
Cast Welves and tear Oni to shreds!
(Summons a cutting tornado around Oni with a contested power roll. This attack will be at range)

Cast Eterni on Oni (1 AP) (Hama)
(Pick a target)
You'll show the Pale Rider and his entourage why you earned the name "Angel of Death"
(Piastol fires crystals that slice the body and rattle the soul. Contested power roll) (Warning: eterni isn't an instant death effect)

Oh right.

Goji Negaquest: We lost Jack Frost to WHAT?!?!?!

Goji Negaquest QM: To contract loophole, I told you guys to be careful with Demon Contract write-ins.

We can only use attacks on oni this turn with his taunt in affect. And oni is also resistant to gun damage in the games. So using our physical attackers for a area of affect attack is the best option for them and we might be able to defeat oni or at least get him close to defeat.

No, it's like jack mabufu

It's a 1d100+60 and that becomes the check

All Enemies roll power and need to beat the check

Other Word they get damaged

Well even if roll garbage they still would need to roll pretty high to pass.

Frankly this may even be for the best since we can only attack the Oni individually this turn anyway.

This went pretty well! Two enemies down and one admitidly severe injury via one use ability.

Oh and Noise just booked it. Smart, if slightly disappointing.

Important questions though. @Kingster

Is Jack dead or did he just retreat? Does the Crit effect the chance of healing or no? What counts as physical damage for our immidate purposes here? And if we use Metal's action to gain a trait we can reinstall the lost one later right?

Straegically I'm thinking we should-

Heal Clove, and dogpile Oni with every nonphysical attack we have.

Proper use of Incremus should be enough to get enough people to do non-physical damage to potentially put him down.
