If there are multiple Metal Sonics running around, then by defeating them, our Metal will be able to prove he is the true Metal Sonic, and become confident in his own identity! And get lots of cool upgrades Highlander style! It's a perfect character arc!

Eggman is a normal human in the games, no black eyes of anything of sort.
Can't see why he would have them.
Edit: I never understand why he has black eyes, it sounds like they were trying to hard to make Eggman look like the devil.

On another topic...We all know the ways Eggman can brainwash people. That Hyper-go-on energy hypnosis device from Sonic Colors. Legionization/Cyberization. Roboticization is one of the more prominent. Looking at it though....I find myself thinking about....The Composer device from Halo....the machine used to turn organics into Prometheans....And the idea of creating an army of Prometheans to serve us is enticing...
You know....can we use any tech to simulate such? Simulate Gaster Blaster technology/sorcery? Though I'd be wary if we start to speak in Wing Dings.

You mean the Composer method? Yeah...it's overtly cruel. Though the idea of manually creating and programming Promethean Knights and all their hardlight weaponry is an enticing option too.
