…… well we know metal isn't compromised… that's a good thing

We know he didn't get compromised...
I want to see the reaction of the rivals
That is true, we still don't know if the Zeti magnetism trait activates once during battle
And a trait from ZomzomI mean, odds seems at our favor so far. If we win turn one, we eliminate the Buzz Bombers and from there we also gain bonuses from aerial attacks
now here's the question, does Zomom keep trying to turn Metal? Zomoms dumb enough I could see him keep trying something that's not working over and over again, but I could also buy him giving up on it. there's also the question of whether taking control of a machine like that takes up their action for a turn, because if he's being attacked I can't see him not fighting back.
Hmmm, either Zomzom is an idiot.
Metal is the only one worth rolling for.
Or, depending on the 'level' of the machine, the more focus is required for the Zeti and they can be forced to dedicate their entire Technopathy to limited amounts of targets/a single target if it's strong enough.

Counterpoint, In Universe the Zeti are kinda supposed to be the hard counter to Eggman.I really hope it is just once per battle because it's pretty much unfair to us if they can activate that trait after every single round meaning they can constantly try to steal our mechs to replenish they numbers.
I don't think the qms would do that for their trait because that would be a little OP plus the only people people who can't answer that are them soI really hope it is just once per battle because it's pretty much unfair to us if they can activate that trait after every single round meaning they can constantly try to steal our mechs to replenish they numbers.
It's not a particularly overpowered Trait… If they were up against anyone other than Eggman.I don't think the qms would do that for their trait because that would be a little OP plus the only people people who can't answer that are them so
Nnnnot particularly? We're just kinda stuck in a situation where we kinda set ourselves up for Adventuring twice in a row for turns 5 and 6.
OK, that sounds fair, I just don't wanna lose metal that's allIt's not a particularly overpowered Trait… If they were up against anyone other than Eggman.
Like, if Zavok were up against someone like the Empire it would be much, much weaker. They don't use a lot of electronics, and their trump card in particular is completely immune to it.
In a real sense, the Zeti are designed to be our Kryptonite, and this raid in particular is one we can explicitely survive losing. Having the Zeti Magnetism be a 'Once per round' thing would not be bad Game/Quest design.
And we're grateful that this quest was made so thank you for that along with the other QM'sI just want to say, in general, I deeply appreciate you guys enjoying this Quest so much
I just... Don't have much going for me IRL, and I have pretty low self-esteem
Bur sometimes I return to this, I see the TV Tropes page, the Omakes.... And I think, if I can help make something so many people are passionate about, I can't be all bad
Yeah, plus it feels like we're making pretty good progress. We're nearly at 400. And I don't know which quest thread has yet reached 400 yetIt really gives me Doofquest vibes all over again...also I'm a junkie for Sonic content lol
That's the beauty of a good quest if you have the right subject, and the right people to get interested in your practically golden.I can't promise anything, but I will try to push for giving you guys a reward if we reach 500
It's just wild to me how invested everyone is with only 4 turns so far
Losing Metal would absolutely suck, but if we can hack some of the Badniks we ought to be able to hack him as well.OK, that sounds fair, I just don't wanna lose metal that's all
There are a few (it's an old forum after all and Divided Loyalties is at like 16000 pages by now), but if you like Scrambled Eggs there's a decent chance you'll like Doofquest as well.Yeah, plus it feels like we're making pretty good progress.
