--[x] @Sereg's story
"Hey!" you exclaim and wave back at Evelyn. Kishi nods politely next to you, busier with a cookie stuffed into her mouth.
"W-why the red face? D-did something happen between you?" you continue with a questioning gaze at Evelyn's face. Why is she so flustered anyways?
"Eeeeh, it was nothing! Nothing at all..." she hurriedly denies and grabs a chair to sit on.
Both you and Kishi stare at her with questioning expression, but the girl seems to zip her lips pre-emptively to prevent you from ever finding out. Her eyes are very inconveniently aimed elsewhere. However, not to be set back by something as small as that, you turn to look at Ariane who has grabbed another pair of a mug and a plate from the closets for Evelyn.
Her expression brightens with barely contained giggle but she manages to only open her mouth before getting cut off by a loud, pointed cough and a narrowed gaze thrown at her by Evelyn. She sets the dishes on the table and shrugs at you apologetically while making a slow zipping motion in front of her mouth.
"Y-you do realize that this only makes me more curious, right?" you say questioningly and sigh,
"I-it was something embarrassing, wasn't it?"
"...It was only a hug…" Evelyn evasively states, but deflates a bit when Ariane shoots her with an amused, knowing smirk.
"Very, very enthusiastic one..." she allows but immediately tries t steer your attention elsewhere,
"But that is beside the point! What have you been doing? Did I miss anything important?"
Kishi shares a look with you and shakes her head. This is clearly a lost cause, or at least something you'll need to ask Ariane when Evelyn isn't around to hear.
"Well, if you say so. B-but nothing important happened, we've been just fooling around, drinking cocoa and eating through that suddenly thin pile of cookies," you say.
Evelyn nods and grabs a cookie,
"Phew, sounds like I'm on time! Say, how about we take this pile with us and start with the stories immediately? It would be nice to have something to go with the stories."
"Hmm, sounds like a good idea. Ariane, is that okay with you, since we are probably going to use your room for this?"
"Hmm... nah, I don't mind! But how exactly does this work? Do we just take turns or...?" Arianes answers you but trails off in her thoughts.
"Y-yeah, I actually have a story ready for this so I'll start! We'll just need a flashlight, maybe one of those we used yesterday?" you say with an enthusiastic smile as Ariane nods at you,
"This is going to be fun!"
Ariane and Evelyn both smile at the exclamation, while Kishi seems to catch something in her throat and coughs several times.

You turn on the flashlight below your face and take a slow look at your friends sitting in front of you and forming a circle together with you. On your left side Ariane is taking nervous looks around the otherwise dark room while on your right side Kishi is already hugging her legs. Evelyn is sitting opposite to you, and is the only on you who doesn't seem to be scared at all yet.
You make your best attempt at a slasher smile and and take a deep breath to calm yourself. You are not sure where exactly you found this story but it was somewhere in the wonderful world of internet. Your memories are a bit fuzzy as if you'd been trying to forget this and to be honest, you don't even remember how exactly the story went, so you will have to improvise some of the bits as you go.
"This is a story about a girl just like us," you calmly begin in a low voice,
"Her family had moved from Europe, just like yours, to a town not far from this one. Her father had chosen a large, fancy, old house, gladdened by the salary increase that had come with his transfer, but she couldn't put her finger on why the pictures of the house creeped her out...
When they arrived, her younger brother and parents settled in quickly, but she couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched... So she dumped her bags in her room, nervously made her excuses and left for the town to explore.
The house was surrounded by trees so thick it was like a forest. But she made it down the long driveway and into the town. As a small town, the people were friendly and greeted her, but whenever she mentioned where she lived, they fell silent and looked at each other nervously. When she asked what was wrong, an old man beckoned her over. "You want to move out of that house right away, young missy," he croaked."
You pause for a second to take in the reactions of your audience. Evelyn is casually listening in, not particularly bothered by your narration so far. Ariane on the other seems to be hanging to your every word and seems to have forgotten the world around her as she keeps staring at you.
It feels quite creepy to be honest, as she seriously looks like some some sort of supernatural creature with her eyes glinting in the faint light. Kishi hasn't moved from her spot at all, but is shivering a bit already. You smile evilly at your audience and continue.
""Why?" she asked the old man.
"Every so often, a family comes to live there. Soon after they arrive, we find their bodies, hanging by hooks, with bites taken out of them and their hands sawed off."
"That's ridiculous!" she cried. "That could never happen!"
"But it does," he said solemnly.
She turned away angrily and left for the house."
There, the mystery has been laid! The rest of the story's elements are also slowly coming back to you, making you feel a bit excited about this yourself. However, it makes you a bit scared yourself to tell and remember a story like that in the dark, windowless room.
"That night, the wind roared, swaying the trees, and making the branches scratch against the windows. The girl lay in bed, struggling to sleep. Suddenly, she heard scuttling below the floor. Scuttle, scuttle, scuttle. There it was again!
She got up and listened carefully. The walls began to groan and she shrieked as she saw blood drip from the roof. "Help us!" the blood spelled out on the wall. She hustled backwards on her bed and fell off on the other side. She backed up against the window and heard a wolf howl from outside. She turned to look out the window and saw a figure standing in the shadows of the trees. Lightning struck and illuminated the figure. He was a wolf, standing upright. His front paws had been replaced with bloody, shriveled hands and he was holding a hacksaw. The wolf howled as she looked at it and she gasped, backing away from the window."
Another look at your friends. Ariane seems to have dragged herself slightly closer, almost right next to you. Her amber eyes are sparkling in delight in the illumination of the flashlight. However, you can catch slight shaking beneath the glint
On your other side, Kishi seems to be holding back a scream and is shivering slightly. You can sympathize, having a monster behind your window would scare you witless too. In fact, you take a very nervous look at the bulging device where the window should be in Ariane's room and gulp weakly before continuing.
"She ran over to the door of her bedroom and opened it. But when she glanced through the window again, the wolf was gone! She ran down the corridor to check the front door. Her hands shook as she tested it, but she breathed a sigh of relief as she saw it was locked. Scuttle, scuttle, scuttle. The sound came back and was getting louder.
"Honey? Are you okay?" she heard her mother's voice. She turned and saw her mother, looking at her, her eyebrows narrowed in concern. She breathed a sigh of relief.
"Something weird's going on!" the girl cried. "There's something out there!" She flung her hand out to indicate the door.
"Oh honey," the mother said. She smiled. "It's okay. It was just a nightmare. Everything's fine. Come into my arms." She held out her arms. Her arms that sprayed blood from the stumps where her hands once were."
You pause and a shiver comes up your spine as you try to picture the image. You are starting to remember why you wanted to forget this story. And it was only going to get worse from here.
However, you are still faring well when compared to Kishi, who has begun whimpering under her breath. Even Ariane seems a bit more pale than usual while Evelyn is frowning.
"The girl screamed as she backed away from her mother's smiling face. She turned around and her hands shook as she struggled with the keys. The scurrying grew louder. Eventually, she managed to jam the key into the lock, but the key refused to turn.
That's when she felt a hand grasp her shoulder. She looked up and saw that the hand was disembodied. She screamed and yanked the hand off of her shoulder before flinging it away. The hand got up and began to scuttle along the floor towards her. The more hands began to stream out of her parents' room. Scuttle, scuttle, scuttle they went and her mother slowly walked forward, her arms outstretched and still wearing that smile.
The girl screamed and opened the nearest door, running into her brother's room. She slammed the door shut and panted, slowly walking backwards from the door. She had left her cellphone in her room, but grabbed her brother's phone from his desk. She dialed the police's number but when she held the phone to her ear, she didn't hear ringing. Instead she heard, "Come and join us! More meat always comes!" Followed by a squishy, sawing sound and screaming.
She dropped the phone in panic and fell on her brother's bed. That's when she noticed the odd shape under the covers. The covers flung themselves open, held by more disembodied hands. In the center of the bed sat her brother's severed head, sitting on it's neck with an eyeball hanging loose from its eye socket.
The girl froze in horror. Then the head grinned and began to sing. "Come join us down in the woods were the Sun doesn't shine! There's always more meat on which to dine!"
You do your best impression of the song, weakly humming the words to a nursery rhyme melody whose origin you can't recall. Kishi is barely able to contain her fear anymore as she has cuper her hands before her mouth and her eyes are wide and shaking. Even Ariane is biting her lips in worry. Evelyn on the other hand keeps staring at you with a deep frown on her face.
You take a look down and take a deep breath to calm yourself before continuing. You can actually hear your heart beats when not telling the story. It must be getting at you too, and all of sudden you can't shake the feeling that you are being watched…
...Well, by something that is not Ariane. But regardless, you steel your mind and get back to narrating the tale, your voice almost like a whisper now.
"The girl screamed and jumped up from the bed, tripping and stumbling until she hit the door to one of her brother's cupboards.
As she stepped back, the door flung open to reveal her father, wearing a brightly coloured wig, a clown's facepaint and nothing else above the waist, making it clear that chunks of his flesh had been bitten off, his hands were missing, and he was impaled on a hook. Her father's eyes flung open and he gave a big grin. "Sweetie!" he said. "Come give Daddy a big hug!" He held out the bloody stumps at the end of his arms.
The girl shrieked again and slammed the door shut. She then covered the head up and ran to another cupboard on the opposite side of the room. She opened the door and his inside as the door to her brother's room opened.
She stood as still as she could, hiding between her brother's shirts and trying to hold her breath. Then she felt something sharp and cold touch her wrist. She turned around and looked between the long, sharp fangs of the wolf and down into the darkness of his gullet. She leaped back, jumping out of the closet, but the wolf swung his saw, nicking her arm.
She collapsed to the floor and began to cry and beg, "Please, please! Let me go!" But as she crawled backwards, the wolf kept slowly advancing towards her. More hands scurried along the floor as she slid her way into her brother's bathroom, desperate to stay away from the wolf.
She managed to get up, but as she walked backwards she tripped and fell into the bath while the hands continued to swarm the floor. Then the wolf stopped and twisted a tap at the basin. There was a cranking sound and the bath lowered away and began moving down a diagonal track the girl looked out of the bath to see skeletons, hooked on the wall, waving their handless arms at her. As the waved, they'd bash her with their bones.
Soon, the bath stopped and she climbed out to look around. She was in a wooden hut and in front of her was a candlelit table, set with plates of raw meat. She recognised her brother's foot on one of the plates.
She ran away from the table to the door, throwing it open to reveal that the hut was in a wood,in a dark cave. She was in a wood where the Sun never shone. She shivered and walked forward, looking for a way out. She approached a lake, wondering if she should follow the coast, when the water rose and began to glow revealing its blood red color and that hands were swimming in it. The water walked forward in a hulking humanoid shape and she ran screaming back into the hut.
Determined to escape, she climbed the rails, ignoring the pain of the skeletons' bashing. She climbed out the hole and ignored the hands swarming the floor as she ran into her brother's room and smashed the window with his desk lamp.
She climbed out of the window, cutting herself on the broken glass and fell into the bushes. She stumbled along in the mud as the rain poured down, trying to get away from the house but the front door opened and the wolf walked out slowly following her as she slowly squelched her way forward.
She couldn't believe her luck when she got to the road and she ran as fast as she could to the police station. She ran inside and called, "Help! Help!"
The police captain ran over and asked "What's wrong!?"
The girl burst into tears. "Something's chasing me and it's killed my family and there's blood and bodyparts and please help me!"
"It's okay," he said. "I'll protect you. Come with me."
He took her hand and led her through the door.
The girl looked around. "Why are we-?"
The captain opened a cell, threw her in and locked the door. "
You take a dramatic pause, and check the reactions of your friends. Much to your satisfaction, Evelyn is finally looking worried and scared even if she tries to keep herself calm. Kishi seems to be on the verge of fainting as she weakly shakes and keeps her mouth shut with her arm. It is not enough to stop the weak whines of horror coming through.
Ariane on her part has backed down slightly, and is staring at you in terror. You shudder yourself and swallow a lump in your throat. There is only the ending to go.
""It's okay, Dear," he said. He pulled off his face to reveal the snout of the wolf. "More meat always comes!" you exclaim as forcefully as possible and take a weak look at your friends. Kishi is probably screaming, as a muffled but loud whine escapes the gag of her arm and she closes her eyes, trying to ignore the world around her.
Evelyn on the other hand is staring at you with wide eyes, and is clearly shaking. However, as soon as your eyes land on her, she tries to steel herself to look like she isn't afraid at all. Instead, she raises her arm and points… behind you?
"Uh, T-Tamiko, wha-what is that thing behind you?" she stammers out in panic.
Your heart seems to jump to your throat and your lungs stop working all of sudden. You weakly turn look back at Kishi, who has turned to stare at you in return all of sudden. She seems worried.
You gulp and continue turning your head around to see whatever Evelyn is pointing at. You can feel cold sweat push on your forehead and neck, while every part of your body has started to shake. Behind you, there is-
"I f o u n d y o u . . ." you hear a low voice speak to you and a hand forcibly grabs your left shoulder. You drop the flashlight in surprise, and...
What do you do?

Don't be fooled by the deceptively high word count here, though. At least half of the update is from Sereg's story posted earlier in this thread. I didn't really want to summarize that so I included it as a whole. I also tried to keep the MC interaction in between the story's segments to minimum.
Seriously
@Sereg, you are awesome! Thank you for sharing that story, and keep up the incredible work!
