[X] Help Kishi heal.
-[X] Tell her not worry about it. She's okay, and that's all you care about. Hug her. Hard
[X] Also heal Mariko if she needs it.
-[X] And hug her too, while you're at it.
[X] Good-naturedly tease Mariko for calling out her attack.
-[X] Seriously, though, she was amazing back there. That Witch would have been a lot harder to deal with if it weren't for her.

You quickly gaze over all the bloodied spots on Kishi's body and frown slightly. Why would she even de-transform while still wounded? It's better to heal yourself when still in the uniform to not get your civilian clothes all bloody and tattered. The bloody spots on her blouse don't alleviate your growing concern for your friend.

It must have been an accident, you decide, and kneel down besides Kishi to face her at the same height. She still seems a bit nervous about your reaction as she keeps closing her wounds with her magic. With the amount of magic she has used during the hunt, combined with her need of healing at the moment…

"Uh, T-Tamiko…?"

You let out a sigh and put your palm right above a hole on Kishi's side. She could really use your help here. "It's okay, Kishi, let's get you all patched up!" you jovially exclaim, and smile brightly at your friend as the warm white glow of your healing magic covers your entire hand.

With both of you healing her together, Kishi's wounds close fast. While they bleed quite a bit, staining her school uniform badly, they are ultimately not very large and thus don't take that much effort or time to heal. You are done after only a few moments.

Kishi brings the grief seed she's been holding onto against her incredibly dark gem as soon as you finish the healing process. You watch with growing anticipation as the black substance is drained inside the trinket, the one from the concert witch near school you recall, in a steady stream.

Kishi's entire body seems to slump as she sighs in relief, before she turns to look at you gratefully. You simply give her a wide smile in response.

You were waiting for this moment!

Without any warning you throw yourself at Kishi. She only manages to let out a loud yelp of panic as you crash into her and pull her into a hug with you. You admit to having been worried to near death when you saw her crashing to the wall and then finding her wounded this badly afterwards.

You tighten your grip on the girl and snuggle closer to her, "I-I was so worried about you…"

"T-Tamiko, thank you… I-it's fine…"
Kishi tries to reassure you awkwardly while she squirms in your hug to reach a more comfortable position.

You simply tighten your hug, locking her in her place so she wouldn't leave your embrace. Not yet. She still tries to move around in your hug, this time a bit more worriedly.

"Um… T-Tamiko? M-maybe you shouldn't..." she asks you, sounding embarrassed all of sudden with her cheeks having flared up.

You tighten your hug once more, she shouldn't be embarrassed about you caring.

"T-Tamiko, please…" she asks you again in a high-pitched voice.

Hush now. No protests, only hugs now!

Then you stop as a really awkward, almost like someone was trying to hold it down, sneeze echoes across the air from behind you. You reluctantly ease your grip on Kishi and slowly turn your head to look at the source of the voice. You freeze at the sight before your eyes.

Mariko is standing a few meters behind you, shifting nervously from one foot to another with her elbow in front of her mouth to catch the sneeze. Her arms is slowly lowered and it occurs to you that she is looking at you with some clear embarrassment, and… dawning realization?

Oh no…

"Um, d-don't mind me! Sorry!" she hastily tries to apologize a small tint of red on her cheeks, "I… I didn't realize you two were like that! And uh, sorry for not... well, don't let me stop you, though! It's perfectly fine!"

There is a sinking feeling in your stomach, and next to you, Kishi wheezes and looks like she is about to faint.

Oh no, no, no, no… This is not happening, right!?

What do you do?

[] Vehemently deny that you are in a relationship! Or that Kishi is your waifu.

[] Hug Kishi more for support!
-[] Plead her to tell Mariko that it's not true!

[] "Look, an obvious distraction!"

[] Mumble incoherently.

[] Try to create a coherent and intelligent argument as to why Mariko's assumption is not actually correct, and that she is merely misinterpreting a close friendship to a relationship. A very humane mistake to make.

[] Write-in.

In which Mariko realizes that she really is the third wheel here :V

And just like that, all the worry is turned to WAFF

[X] "Look, an obvious distraction!"

How convenient.

[x] Once you have masterfully convinced her of this, remember to thank Mariko for how she did in the barrier.

Denial~

Urgh guess it went too much in the other direction. No more hugging unless its other than Kishi.

Honesty can we work/train with Ariane soon, its irritating that we keep leaving her out from the pain bonding plus it would be nice to se how she interact with Mariko. Would be nice to leave Kishi alone for a while.

I'm really sorry everyone for being that "No Fun Allowed" guy, but there's only so many times I can watch this happen before I get bored and just want to move on. Not to mention it's kind of a jerk thing to repeatedly do to Kishi, OOC.

[X] Quick come with a distraction!!!
-[X] "Did you seriously call out your attack back there?"
--[X] Nailed it.
[X] She was pretty amazing back there. That Witch would have been a lot harder to deal with if it weren't for her. Is she okay? Does she need healing?

Fiiiine. Admittedly, I never really tire of stuff like this, but if it's annoying other people, I guess its fine.

Still, I kinda would find it funny if Kishi and Tami start a relationship, but try to keep it secret from everybody by continuing to do stuff like this. Ends up coming to a head where they try to tell us up front, we admit that its already been a thing, and we blow their freaking minds :p

It just feels like kind of a jerk move. Having a really nice moment, and then vehemently denying it seconds later. With someone who is actually seriously crushing.

Of course, no one else likely feels that way, and I'm just being "Super Serious No Fun Allowed":V

But really, if it's that amusing/heartwarming to you guys then don't spoil your fun here.

[X] "Look, an obvious distraction!"
-[X] Grab Mariko and haul her into the hugs, silence her with the power of cuddles.

Someone in story seriously needs to hit Tamiko with the Clue-by-Four, because at this point everyone can see it. For as surprisingly good at social Tamiko is, she is unbelievably blind when it comes to Kishi's obvious crush on her.

Of course, that is probably in part caused by 2 1/2 years of social isolation brought on by the curse. Her subconscious doubts and insecurities likely prevent her from seeing it. All the more reason for an intervention.

Not that we the players can do anything about it IC.

Witch card: Tremaine
Tremaine
Tremaine is the avaricious witch in the bottle, who guards her treasure to the final breath of winds that make up her being. Her form is naturally insubstantial, but she still deludes herself into thinking that the countless physical treasures filling her chambers give her a meaning to continue. Much like her beliefs, the glass of her bottle, her cover is fragile and breaks easily if attacked. But to stop guarding her hoard and hide would mean giving up, so she fights and kills anyone looking upon her treasure, even her own familiars. It is all she has left...

===

Tremaine's true for was the winds holding the coins together, but they were anchored to a glass bottle beneath the pile. That thing would break under any attack, but the huge layer of gold offered great protection.

She could have taken the form of a dragon instead of a genie. :V
Considering the amount of various dragons already here in the quest, whether yet seen or not, I decided against that when designing this one. You've already seen only Amelia, but rest assured she's not the only one. One of the 90+ for example and I suppose the OOC-mentioned Dragonfly witch might count as well.
