You? Defeated? Fat chance of that.
'B-be prepared to pounce on Ariane when I give the sign,' you send Kishi through telepathy to prepare for your cunningly prepared counter-attack. There is no way you are going to lose this one!
You don't wait for any kind of confirmation though, as you raise your arm and defensively set the palm of your hand between you and Evelyn.
"W-we surrender…" you exclaim and wave the arm slightly to dissuade Evelyn and Ariane from renewing their assault.
Your bluff seems to work, as Evelyn's victorious grin widens slightly and she lowers her pillow to the floor. She tries to say something to you, but it is too late for her. Before anything even comes out of her mouth, you have already pounced at her, both of your arms ready to grab the girl
"...w-when cows fly!" you scream triumphantly and pounce off the hug. Evelyn is caught completely flat-footed and unprepared. You grab her from the waist and push her to the floor. She manages to let out only a panicked yelp as you pin her down under the weight of your body and bring out your greatest weapon… the almighty tickle attack.
Evelyn is powerless to resist your assault and bursts out into uncontrollable and loud laughter as you mercilessly tickle her. Behind you, sounds of a struggle between Kishi and Ariane can be heard as the pair wrestles with each other, both trying to get the upper hand over the other one. However, whoever would emerge on top is irrelevant as you only need the main devil to wave the white flag.
"Do you yield!?" you merrily shout at Evelyn, not once easing your assault.
"Never… Hahaha… I won't….. Haha ha… surrender…" she manages to cry out between the bouts of laughter.
"Tsk, tsk..." you say and shake your head . Looks like the big guns are needed. With increasing vigor, you double up your assault, ceasing any pretensions of having mercy. The strength of Evelyn's laughter increases and you ask her again,
"What's that, I don't think I heard you right?"
"I…. Hehahaha… surrender… ha haha ha... mercy!" she pleads, unable to take it anymore.
You grin haughtily at your friend's words and ease your tickling.
"Y-yes, that's the spirit… But now it is up to me to decide what to do with my prisoners~" you taunt Evelyn and strike up a thinking pose. The girl is still trying to cease her laughter, but you can notice a sense of worry enter her expression amidst the dying laughter.
"And I believe the punishment for prisoner of war is…" you announce theatrically and turn to smirk at the increasingly panicking Evelyn,
"The tickle punishment!"
Evelyn only manages a scream as you get straight to the point and mercilessly start to tickle her again. Behind you, you can also hear the sounds of a struggle cease. Both Kishi and Ariane seem to be giggling at something… well, probably at you.
You don't keep Evelyn pinned for too long, however, as she still needs to breathe. As such, after a minute you climb away from the position and sit down on the ground to catch your breath yourself. Next to you, Kishi is sitting and leaning on her knees as she tries to ease her periodic bursts of happy giggling. She is smiling faintly from the aftermath of the pillow fight and you can hear her pant slightly from the effort.
Evelyn seems to have some trouble gathering her wits, even if her laughter is slowly dying already. Her breathing is slightly shallow, but she is clearly smiling. A couple of meters away from you, Ariane is leaning against the wall and panting. But out of all of you, her smile is clearly the widest, and even when tired she looks like she has had the time of her life.
"This was.. Aah, so fun!" she chimes joyfully amidst the deep breaths,
"I kind of wish I had been able to do that before… This is just so amazing… We should do this again some time!"
"That sounds like a plan," Evelyn manages between her guffaws,
"But say, how about we- *hic*"
The girl desperately covers her mouth, but it is too late. Her sudden hiccup elicits another round of laughter from the rest of you. Evelyn groans in response, but it gets interrupted by another sudden hiccup.
"Come on… *hic*... it's not that fun! *hic*" she tries to plead, but the fit just seems to get worse the more she speaks, much to her embarrassment.
"Uh… I guess water should help? Come on, let's go get a glass for you…" Ariane eventually offers after the round of giggling dies down and moves next to Evelyn,
"But we'll continue with the ghost stories, right? I got one from miss Celia I want to share!"
You nod happily at the pair as they start leaving the room.
"Of course! I-it wouldn't be fair if I was the only one to tell a story!" you tell them with a reassuring smile.
Ariane nods back giddily and with running steps escorts an embarrassed Evelyn out of the room with her. You and Kishi are now sitting together in the half-illuminated room amidst piles of plushies thrown all around the room.
