Though, I don't think Handyman has enough mass to create a turbine giant enough to move an entire mine field's worth of bubbles
Yeah it definitely wouldn't cover the full width. I was more imagining creating a column of backdrafted bubbles tying bubbles of different heights together. Having Handyman plink bubbles seems a bit redundant if cheap shadow clones can do the same thing.

[X] Plan: Squid Rings
-[X] Agree to fight Floating Venom Morpheme.
--[X] Black Swan takes potshots at FVM to lure it away from the Apiary, while Handyman and Menagerie Witch takes to the skies atop copies of Nevermore.
--[X] Handyman and Menagerie Witch should let Black Swan grab the monster's attention while they work on prematurely detonating bubbles via ranged attacks.
--[X] Everytime the bubbles are cleared, Black Swan should get close to the monster and output high-power beams at it, preferably on the spots that look like it contains organs, before retreating once the monster glows red and unleashes more bubbles.

Too may bubbles for Menagerie Witch to handle alone. She can't spam her summons like she did back in the tower without consequences to her health. She can help Handyman, but she shouldn't do the job on her own.

Ub bro while I like the plan I dont think theres any point in having MW in the air when she doesnt have any defensive power and cant survive a bubble explosion or falling from the sky, she can just order her constructs to help Rhys when created.

Same plan as squid ring but doesnt actually put a vulnerable kid in danger by having her in a fight instead of just letting her constructs which are smart to follow her orders & semi autonomous do the fighting.

MW's constructs have a limited range before they disappear. Considering we're moving the fight away from the Apiary, she needs to at least be in Handyman's general area so he doesn't fall out of the sky.

From her character sheet:
The only drawback is the constructs must remain within several hundred yards of Menagerie Witch. Once that threshold is exceeded, they will automatically disperse.

hmm in that case better to put Rhys and Maddie in just one Big Nevermore construct instead of seperate ones so rhys can protect her. Hell maybe another Big but durable nevermore to act as bait and shield for them.

this should be good enough, Black Swan's the main damage dealer anyway and we don't have much meaningful ways to change or affect that.

Update did say that Rhys is heavy enough that he needs his own bird. Probably can't have him share someone else's ride without it affecting Nevermore's flight.

There's some kind of item that like inflates and if you push it you pump out air, I think it's used for ovens or cooling stuff down. I think that might be more possible than a turbine with biokinesis, but I have no idea what it's called, can anyone help me out?

EDIT: Bellows! That's what it's called.

Like this but made out of his body, so Handyman can pump the bubbles away.

Also QM does leizi know about any other defenses of the apiary she can use to attack the Behemoth
Nothing as useful as the shield-net. Most the bases defense are for people trying to get inside. There is one other defense she can think of, but Nora was the only one who could activate it.
If what Mendicant needs is a tissue sample, is it possible to just focus on extracting one from Morpheme without going whole hog on killing it?
That's an option, but it doesn't accomplish the goal of giving Mendicant cover. It will make them more favorably disposed to you.
Leizi, witch and handyman goes inside the apiary to activate the shield net. Swan outside to wait for the shield to activate where after morpheme tries to leave Swan ambushes it with a full blast after Witch's Constructs distract it?
Leizi is worried enough that leaving Black Swan to solo a Named-Rank Behemoth that she won't consider it.
Hmm QM how would the shield net drive away morpheme based on Leizi knowldege of it?
Push it away and zap it while emitting a high frequency signal most Behemoths hate.

huh actually that still works for Handyman and Black Swan ambushing it as it tries to leave. the frequency would distract it atleast and draw it away from apiary without needing for black swan to spend energy driving it away and instead just goes for killing shots.

She's still have to fight it, and Lady Leizi isn't going to let her do that in her own.

Ah do you mean leizi needs to be in the fight?
Handyman and maybe MW would still be better to help Swan. i just think its better to use the shield net to distract and drive away the behemoth first before they attack.

Can they do thay or not?
They cannot. You can't split the party in this vote. It's implied, but Lady Leizi has something akin to PTSD in dealing with Behemoths after watching all her friends get eaten by them. She won't let anyone go after one when she can't be there to help, and she (or Black Swan) are the only ones who can reestablish control of the Apiary.

Ah Okay so Leizi and Maddie in a Nevermoe Construct for Leizi to lead the team then. So all plans wont work then

Squid ring works then as long leizi is over watch. maybe add that MW keeps Handyman in range of her powers but well out of FVM bubbles? Or maybe close to handyman so he can protect her in emergencies

I was assuming that Lady Leizi's observing the entire operation atop the Apiary's tallest building, binoculars in hand and radio ear piece in the other to tell everyone when the giant poison jellysquid is about to blow (it becomes very red!). :V

That said, I'm not gonna micromanage Rhys and Maddie. We gave them a general plan, so I assume they'll be smart enough to not put Maddie in the line of fire without good reason.

The Behemoth just floats right? Like a Beholder or Cacodemon (Doom) right, it doesn't use wings or anything visible like a gas stomach we could target to bring it down to the ground?

If we could ground that thing, we could send a number of shadow cats to attack it, while our heroes attack from a distance.

The specific nature of how you failed that OPERATIONS check means you don't know.

The figure silently snarks at you for a second more before sitting back down with its dolls. It looks at them for a long second, before lifting the one shaped like Lady Leizi and pressing it into your hands.

It isn't looking at you.

"Do . . . do you want me to take care of her?"

It nods.

You smile and hug the figure. It tenses for a second before melting into your embrace. "I promise."
This is just too cute. <3

I'd reckon this is a 'no', but can Lady Leizi mimic that signal?
