Is there a mission or anything we can do to figure out what this is? Is it something LL already knows?

She knows it exists, but only Nora was a 100% certain what it is.Is there a mission or anything we can do to figure out what this is? Is it something LL already knows?
Oh, definitely. But neglect is a different kind of mindset, and that's important to figuring out wtf is with her coming after Yara. It's still abuse for sure.Agreed on both points. I definitely think her being fed rotten food could easily be a straight up mistake from SB, but even if it were, everything here is still abuse. Even just being neglectful enough that someone is eating rotten food because of you is abuse.
A thought: we know Harper never ended up telling the others about her sister. I wonder how much of that was because of this? Seeing the reaction to LL killing her monstrous relative?

- Black Swan (The Heir Apparent) (Real name: Mona Melora-Morales) (Defeated Scarlet Maturity one-on-one) S-Rank
- Valiant Gold (The other Heir Apparent) (Valiant Claimant) (Seems to know a lot about power armour and pyschic fields considing she is not an Alegeron-Type) S-Rank
- Menagerie Witch (Chief Team Transportation) (Wants to kill Le Petit Prince) (has accidently killed a few people) A-Rank
- Handyman (Seems to be living clay) (use to one of Lady Leizi's spies) A-Rank
- Doctor Silver (Use to work as of Valiant Silver's lab monkeys) (Not a Metahuman instead relies on Expertimental Shield Tech devloped by Valiant Silver) C-Rank

Meanwhile, we have had to allow that misogynistic coward Joules to back into our life, put up with that Transphobic bitch Été, allow former members of Powers (who are only in the hero buisness for the money) to join us and recuit Gaslight Griffith (who continues to undermind us) and his friends on the Horae Guard (who are just making things harder for us), to bring us to a reasonable about of "heroes". How is Leizi doing this?

"Sweetwoman" said:Novalight hates Justice Unlimited (or those traitors of NuGen as she always called them) but she wouldn't do anything about it unless it was her idea and she gets all the credit.
The only member of New Dawn, you stand even a very slim chance of recuiting is Palisade (and only because she used to date Adamant, before she was dumped in favour of Lady Leizi).

Yeah, most likely. JU didn't need that kind of publicity. But at least that act gave her the idea to ask LL to do it if things turned to the worst.
I love nega-quests ngl. +1!
This is probably going to break a lot of ethics laws, but I just had an idea: we already have decent medical technology and Lady Leizi likely includes doctors among her contacts, and Horizon has no free healthcare. What if we set up a clinic in or near the Apiary and used it to screen candidates for Project Prometheus ? It could be a action similar to Move That Bus."Think about it!" the redhead says, "The Apiary is gigantic. We could build a school, a library, a stadium! Just look at how these gardens have brought everyone together. The food court is a good start, but we could take things so much further!"
This is a bit old but I think Soraia wouldn't have problems with him outside of "this is going to hurt our PR", but I'm only her creator and Bitterman has the final say.but he seems like his reputation would cause even just interteam conflicts from currents and looking at candidates like Soraia and Shelley.
. . . it's like the author accidentally stumbled into a theme or something! What does it say about him that he did that in accident?...Earlier this week or last, someone asked what the biggest flaw was with the original lineup of Justice Unlimited (in response to "Novalight was New Dawn's biggest problem"), and at this point I have to think that it was/is that all of them had difficulty opening up.
Yazmin didn't tell people about Yara (or at least she didn't tell LL). Nora didn't seem to tell anyone about the Four Voices she heard in the Stage, she just kept overworking herself, presumably due to self-esteem issues. Rakeem never got to propose to LL. Towarri might have only told Nora about the cult that kidnapped her, and then there's whatever the hell is going on with the Creature's Den which she told everyone not to worry about because she had it handled. Harper never told anyone about Socialite Butterfly. Hell, Moon River is still alive and yet she refuses to explain why she's missing. It seems likely that it's a "if I tell you you will be a target too" sort of thing, but geez - that's what superhero friends are for.
I guess this could be a stretch, though. Rakeem never proposing isn't particularly damning, Towarri might not have thought she had a reason to worry about her childhood cult, and some of the others probably told each other some of their secrets - I wouldn't have been surprised if Yazmin had already told Nora about her Yara, for instance.
Regardless... it definitely seems like they couldn't unveil their innermost hearts to one another while they were still alive. Perhaps if they had, it'd have been easier to help each other with these problems.

Having just watched this, I can't help but think about how Mona's core seems to be made out of an unknown, hyperdense material...
It's a new video! And it implies that they're either reflecting a part of their life they may want to re-examine, or they're getting lazy coming up with characters.. . . it's like the author accidentally stumbled into a theme or something! What does it say about him that he did that in accident?
. . . I watched a lot of Kurtzgsagt in making
Mona, yeah.
Sometimes, it really is the characters that are telling things to the author rather than the other way around.. . . it's like the author accidentally stumbled into a theme or something! What does it say about him that he did that in accident?
Tell me about it. Mona was supposed to be charming when she first met Ellie, but then the fumbling kinda wrote itself.Sometimes, it really is the characters that are telling things to the author rather than the other way around.
Ehh, toxic's a little much maybe? They were more both over dramatic. Their relationship was actually good for both of them, if there was one issue (Nora using her power) they struggled to get past. And there's the Nora/Yazmin relationship, which frankly seems toxic, and such things are can be caused by a lack of proper communication...
my favorite: Powers, except they aren't starting from scratch but building on Nora's results. Aka a fresh Algernon getting full access to an Algernon's research that literally went as far as possible before they rebounded. No your right. A Algernos focus is whatever they want it to be. They can basically choose everything but focus on a aingle specialty, to maximise their gains.
Ex. Gus (Vulcan) specialized in weapons and Armor but only used it lightly to avoid Rebound. If we were to SOMEHOW managed to make an Algernon, they could choose a completely different focus.
Things like medicine, computers, robot, power armor, Drugs (Lethal Anondyne is an ass), Botany, Biolgy etc...
That's kinda what Stockpile did?my favorite: Powers, except they aren't starting from scratch but building on Nora's results. Aka a fresh Algernon getting full access to an Algernon's research that literally went as far as possible before they rebounded.
But he only got bits and pieces of it or he'd know about Prometheus.
That's because he apparently got bad data, likely from the Philosophers or their minion/s. The degree to which an Algernon is reliant on actually being able to get and trust data acquired by other people who ran experiments of their own is apparently less than 'mundane' scientists, but they still need it in the first place. Otherwise Stockpile wouldn't think that we were trying to steal power from the Leviathan, he'd know that about the Stage. But he only got bits and pieces of it or he'd know about Prometheus.
Not the full package.
